My Sin Debt has been paid, and can never be demanded of me ever again. All my Sins are gone forever, and washed away in JESUS' Blood. Eternal Divine Justice cannot charge or condemn me now with Sins which were once and for all charged to my Great Substitute, The Lamb of God, and borne by Him all by Himself on the CROSS. I am not condemned now, for JESUS was condemned for me, even JESUS in Whom my Soul fixes its full Trust. The very center of the Atonement is found in the Substitution of the Innocent Savior for the guilty sinner, for He actually bore my Sins in His own body on the Tree; JESUS' BLOOD is the Real Payment of my Sin Debt. JESUS in my place has vindicated Divine Justice, honored the entire Law, and glorified God the Father.
Be wise, admit that you deserve Divine Wrath, and submit to the LORD'S Holy Justice. All of human righteousness shrivels up before the balances of Divine Justice. We are utterly unable to make amends for our sins against God. God righteously demands absolute sinless Perfection from us, and that we keep His entire Law flawlessly. We could never do that, but JESUS obeyed the LAW for us. Whosoever is guilty of the LAW in one point is guilty of it all. God's Law is like a priceless vase, and one chip made in the vase has defiled its beauty forever. A Perfect obedience to God's Perfect Law is that which is demanded of you by Divine Justice. You have rebelled against human and divine authority all through your life. The CROSS speaks of a Ransom paid, and the Atonement is now accepted by God the Father, for He raised up His Son JESUS from the dead. Now the Law is magnified by Christ's Righteousness, Justice is Satisfied by Christ's Blood Death, and Mercy is Free to the sinner. The word of the Cross is found in II Corinthians 5:19-21.
The carnal mind cannot endure a thrice Holy God, but all men want a god of some sort, and human wisdom loves to manufacture a god for itself that suits its sins, a god who has no real Justice, and takes no Vengeance on human sins. By nature, every man wants to be his own deity, for he worships his own imaginations, inventions, and image.
Come now to JESUS and welcome to the Cross, for God has both vindicated His Law and displayed/commended His Love, and now offers all sinners free and full Forgiveness of Sins. God's Mercy is to be had for nothing - Free Pardon, Free Justification, Perfect Cleansing, Complete Atonement, Present Eternal Salvation. In Christ Jesus, I have already been judged, condemned, punished, and cleared of the Holy Law, and all its Penalties.
Believe in Christ, Received His Atonement, all the benefits of Christ's Substitution for the ungodly. JESUS has paid the full penalty due to Divine Justice for my Sins, and now I am eternally Free of Liability. By the suffering of bloody death, JESUS vindicated and made Satisfaction to the injured Law of God. JESUS stepped forward on my behalf and presented Himself as the sinless Victim to Divine Justice. JESUS laid down His sinless Life for me, so He could remove from the eternal death Penalty due to Divine Justice, and reconciled me to God by His own Precious Blood. Now God has forgiven me for JESUS' sake.
JESUS is Grace and Truth, and Justice and Mercy bound up in one Person. Your Soul shall soon be required of You. You cannot get divine Understanding from a college course. You are climbing a rotten ladder leaning against a teetering wall. Your life is very brief and terribly unpredictable; your time is always ready. You've abused the sacred trust of life, broken God's Law, and slighted His Son. God's Vengeance has gone out against your Sins.
There is only one Way of deliverance from the Wrath of God (John 14:6). The lightning of God's Vengeance once struck the sinner's Substitute on the Cross, and now it will not smite the sinner who believes in JESUS from the heart. You cannot get true Wisdom and Eternal Life from anywhere or anyone, but Christ Jesus Himself. Human nature does not want God's Wisdom. Only the pure in heart shall see God. God is Truth, and He desires Truth in your inward parts. Christ Jesus has bled away His Life as my Substitute. What else can satisfy the Divine Justice of God but Christ's Precious Blood Atonement for human sins?
Nothing else will content God but His own dear Son. God only respects one Person, Christ Jesus the LORD. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and nothing but JESUS. By JESUS obedience unto the death, the Law is not vindicated fully, Justice is satisfied, Grace is glorified, and Mercy is Freer than the air you are breathing. Pride is a God-defying Sin, spurning Divine Justice just as Cain did with his evil works, challenging God as Pharaoh did, making Self into a god as Nebuchadnezzar did. If Divine Justice was carried out towards your Soul right now, you would surely be sent to Hell. The Gospel is the divine proclamation that God is now prepared and able to deal with guilty sinners on the grounds of free favor and pure mercy, for JESUS' sake.
The conscience within every man's being teaches him that God is Just and will surely punish Sin in the world to come. We have all sinned, and come short of the Glory and Sinless Perfection of God, and upon the ground oif Justice we must perish, but God hath made JESUS to be Sin for us, Who knew no Sin, that we might be made the Righteousness of God in JESUS, through Faith in JESUS' Precious Blood. The GOSPEL is News of the very best kind - The Judge of all the Earth is now prepared to Pardon all my Sins freely, and to Justify my ungodly Soul, for Christ's sake. The GOSPEL is good news to the sinful Soul that God will now freely forgive all your sins, for JESUS' sake.
God will cover the Sinner with JESUS' Righteousness, and receive the Sinner into His favor, but not on account of anything the sinner has done, or ever will do, but out of Pure Grace and for His name's sake. We are all guilty without exception, and all most justly condemned for our Sins, but God is ready to Pardon and take the curse from us, and freely give us the Blessedness of His Son's Righteousness, as an act of God' pure Mercy. For JESUS' sake, God can now be Just, and yet the JUSTIFIER of him that believeth in JESUS. The sinner can now be Justified Freely by God's Grace through the Redemption that is in Christ Jesus. God is Merciful and Gracious, and very Ready to bless the most unworthy Sinner.
The Gospel proclaims even now to the penitent, desponding, despairing Sinner, that their Sins deserve Hell, nevertheless God's Grace can give them Heaven freely, and make them fit for God's presence, independent of your good behavior and doings. This is the Gospel of the Grace of God - that God is able to deal with sinful men in pure Mercy, altogether apart from their sins or their doings, because their sins were laid upon the spotless Lamb of God who has offered up Himself to Divine Justice as a Perfect Satisfaction, so now God is glorious in holiness, yet Rich in Mercy toward the undeserving sinner. Eternal Justice would not spare even JESUS when God laid on HIM the iniquity of us ALL. Your sins crucified JESUS and caused His bloody death, and now please, Behold the Lamb of God which taketh away the Sin of the world; Believe on the LORD JESUS CHRIST HIMSELF, and your Soul shall be saved from the wrath to come on Sins. If you want to go to Heaven, trust JESUS CHRIST; if you want to go to Hell, just trust something else, for anything else you may trust, especially yourself, will surely damn your Soul forever.
