FOR LOVE'S SAKE

The Fruit of the Spirit is LoveWe love him, because he first loved us. Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.  Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you.

Let all your things be done with charityAnd above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. Timotheus came from you unto us, and brought us good tidings of your faith and charity. And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charityCharity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up. Charity edifieth. Your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth. Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned. Be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity. Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart. And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.

Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first lovelove them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me. Hatred stirreth up strifes: but love covereth all sins.

I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints, Since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love which ye have to all the saints. Hearing of thy love and faith, which thou hast toward the Lord Jesus, and toward all saints.

Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him. By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another. Lovest thou Me? If ye love me, keep my commandments. He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. These things I command you, that ye love one another. For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God. And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.

Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.  If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.

Grace be with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Who also declared unto us your love in the Spirit. That your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment. That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding. The love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister. let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.

We know that all things work together for good to them that love God. Let love be without dissimulation.  For we have great joy and consolation in thy love, because the bowels of the saints are refreshed by thee, brother. That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love. Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another. Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.

Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law. Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father. For the Lord Jesus Christ’s sake, and for the love of the Spirit. Forbearing one another in love. And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men. Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love. But as touching brotherly love ye need not that I write unto you: for ye yourselves are taught of God to love one another.

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus. And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ. To know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. Speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ.

But a lover of hospitality, a lover of good men, sober, just, holy, temperate. But if any man love God, the same is known of him. If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maranatha. My love be with you all in Christ Jesus. Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus. Follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness. And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us. That ye might know the love which I have more abundantly unto you. For the love of Christ constraineth us.

If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well. Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory. Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous. We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.

Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him. Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.

Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is loveAnd we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love

Effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in loveBy the Holy Ghost, by love unfeigned. Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same lovebeing of one accord, of one mind. Peace be to the brethren, and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. To prove the sincerity of your loveMy little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it. And I will very gladly spend and be spent for you; though the more abundantly I love you, the less I be lovedBe perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.

Let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee. I will love thee, O Lord, my strength. Let such as love thy salvation say continually, The Lord be magnified. Ye that love the Lord, hate evil. And I will delight myself in thy commandments, which I have loved. My hands also will I lift up unto thy commandments, which I have loved; and I will meditate in thy statutes. O how love I thy law! it is my meditation all the day. I hate vain thoughts: but thy law do I love

Thou puttest away all the wicked of the earth like dross: therefore I love thy testimonies. Look thou upon me, and be merciful unto me, as thou usest to do unto those that love thy name. Thy word is very pure: therefore thy servant loveth it. Consider how I love thy precepts: quicken me, O Lord, according to thy lovingkindness. I hate and abhor lying: but thy law do I loveGreat peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them. My soul hath kept thy testimonies; and I love them exceedingly.

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all.  Faith which worketh by loveBy love serve one another. That we should be holy and without blame before him in love. Let brotherly love continue. Grace be with you, mercy, and peace, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and loveAnd this is love, that we walk after his commandments.

And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. They received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
