THOU KNOWEST
I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars. I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan. I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan’s seat is: and thou holdest fast MY name, and hast not denied MY faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was My faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth. MY sheep hear MY voice, and I know them, and they follow ME. I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last to be more than the first. I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings. I AM HE which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works. These things saith HE that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead. For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew Himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward HIM. I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept My word, and hast not denied My name. I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. Then hear Thou in heaven thy dwelling place, and forgive, and do, and give to every man according to his ways, whose heart Thou knowest; (for Thou, even Thou only, knowest the hearts of all the children of men;) O God, Thou knowest my foolishness; and my sins are not hid from thee. Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off. For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O Lord, Thou knowest it altogether. And he said unto him, Lord, Thou knowest all things; Thou knowest that I love Thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed My sheep. Thou shalt guide me with Thine eye. Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in HIS sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of HIM with Whom we have to do.
