THE POOR DOOR

JESUS said, I am the Door: by ME if any man enter in, he shall be saved. JESUS was Rich, yet for my sake He became Poor, that I through His poverty might be Rich. JESUS is The Poor Door, through whom you must enter into Eternal Life and the Kingdom of God. Jesus said, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, again, he cannot ENTER the Kingdom of God. JESUS is the Door; you can only enter into Eternity safely through HIM; He is the strait gate which leadeth unto Life. The POOR DOOR was covered with Precious Blood on the CROSS for you. You must humble yourself and enter through The Poor Door. Only the poor in spirit can enter there. The rich, that is, self-righteous sinners, cannot gain entry. 

Through the help and grace of the Holy Spirit, you must first be brought to the very end of your Self, and truly realize your sinfulness, guiltiness, inability, hopelessness, utter filthiness, altogether emptiness, bankruptcy, imminent danger, and lack of real Righteousness. Be not deceived; Be not highminded; Be not puffed with worldly wisdom, honor and advantage; Be not wise in your own conceits, that is, high thoughts of yourself and vainglory. The deeper sense you have of your unworthiness and sinfulness the better. You must enter in at the POOR DOOR a naked and poor pauper, and you cannot bring any of your self-righteousness through the Poor Door. Just like at the airport, before boarding an aircraft, you must be screened closely for possibly concealed items as you pass through the TSA security checkpoint X-ray machine, and walk-through metal detector. Likewise, The Holy Spirit will thoroughly scan and search you for any self-righteousness and bring you Very Low prior to you passing through the Poor Door. 

JESUS gladly stops and rescues broken-down sinners on the side of Life's road. When you sense your very emptiness, poverty and thirstiness inwardly, only then will you sincerely seek Christ's Water of Life, Fullness, and Riches. Your Self-conceit will deceitfully lead you to deception, disillusionment, confusion, disappointment, despair, despondency, doom, and ultimately to the horrible brink of damnation. You must first really feel the bonds of your iniquities (drunkenness, despair, licentiousness, cardiac filthiness, covetousness, despondency, mental madness, worldliness) and the gall of your sin's bitterness, and then you will seek Freedom and Sweetness from Christ Jesus Himself. Your Soul must first come to its senses and be emptied of self-righteousness, before your Soul can be freely given the Righteousness of Jesus Christ.

The LORD said, To this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at MY word. Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. The Spirit of the Lord is upon ME, because He hath anointed ME to preach the gospel to the poor; He hath sent ME to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised. Jesus saith unto him, I am the WAY, the Truth, and the Life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. 

Gentle Reminder:  The POOR DOOR is open wide now, but only to helpless, bankrupt sinners. The Bleeding, Dying, Pardoning Love of JESUS and the free Grace of God still saves the hell-deserving sinner; The undeserved mercy of God saves utterly poor, lost sinners through faith in the Precious Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God which taketh away the sin of the world. No sinner could ever possibly deserve to be made Righteous and Accepted in God's sight, but God still forgives and saves sinners for JESUS' sake.

THE HOLY CHILD JESUS

The Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty which was, and is, and is to come, became a Holy Child to become sin for us, and die for the ungodly. The Most Holy became the most humble and poor. The High and Lofty One that inhabiteth Eternity, whose name is Holy; and dwelt in the high and holy place; He came into this evil world to save ruined, lost sinners. Marvelous things did the LORD in Bethlehem.

* The Savior's birth (virgin, divine miracle), The Holy Child

* The Second birth (supernatural miracle), God's child

In John 3, Nicodemus was very religious but lost and searching. Nicodemus went to JESUS by night, because He was interested in JESUS' miracles. But Nicodemus had not yet experienced the spiritual miracle of the New birth in his own heart through the power of the Holy Spirit. 

We are all born into the natural world, through the portal of our mother's womb. We are born into this natural world, and by nature we are bound for the sinful world, for in Adam all die, and by nature, we are all the children of wrath. In sin did my mother conceive me.

Religion is like cleaning and scrubbing a dirt floor: the more you scrub and try to clean up human nature, the more filth you find within yourself. For by the Law is the knowledge of sin. We are rotten to the core; we are sinners by birth, nature, choice, practice, and by self-bondage. You cannot improve your human nature. A man is not a liar, because he tells lies; a man tells lies, because he is a liar. You do what you do, because you are what you are. 

By nature, we are all Blind to the spiritual world, and we cannot perceive spiritual things. We cannot SEE the Kingdom of God until we are Born of the Spirit of God. Satan, the god of this world, hath blinded our minds. The Holy Spirit must turn the light on before we can SEE the Kingdom of God.  

Jesus wasn't a just teacher that was sent from God; JESUS was GOD who came into the world to reach and teach and save sinners. JESUS was born of a Jewish virgin through the power of the Holy Ghost: Isa 7:14; Luke 1:35, Matthew 1:18. JESUS was the only HOLY CHILD, that was ever born of a woman on planet Earth. He is Holy, Harmless, Undefiled, Separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens. Without the virgin birth, no one can be saved. JESUS was born a Jewish virgin, and He had the divine nature of His FATHER at His conception and at His birth; He was the only Holy Child, the ONLY Begotten Son of God, He was born without sin, He never knew sin, and He did no sin. 

Redemption, Revelation, Restoration is found in JESUS (Light came into the world, men love darkness); A thief will never find a policeman. Innocent children fear the dark, but guilty men are afraid of the Light of the world (JESUS), because they love darkness. 

All of us are born into this world blind and deaf spiritually, and only the words of God and the Word of Life, can bring sight and hearing and life of a sinner. The entrance of God's words into our hearts giveth light, and the entrance of The Word of Life (JESUS) gives Eternal Life. God expresses His Love to us through the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.

We all must experience The Second Birth; John 3:7. Ye must be born again. No one is so good that he need not be born again, and no one is so bad that he cannot be born again. The common people heard JESUS gladly, will you?

A Supernatural Birth is required to ENTER into the Kingdom of God. A physical birth brought us into the kingdom of darkness, and a spiritual birth must bring us into the Kingdom of Light.

Conception: There are Two parents of the New Birth; The Water and the Spirit; the words of God and the Holy Spirit; the washing of the water of the word, the washing of regeneration; I Peter 1:23. being born again of incorruptible seed. The words of God are not enough; the Holy Spirit must give us Life inwardly. There is a Marvelous conception in the womb of Faith, whosoever believeth in JESUS; the divine miracle of the new birth happens the instant you trust in JESUS' Precious Blood and Perfect Righteousness to rescue you from your sins, and ransom you from the divine justice your sins deserve. 

You must become a new Creature; If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature; partakers of the divine nature; John 10:10; not just mere existence, but divine life. You must receive the Character of God, the Divine Nature. This not joining a church, or participating in rituals and ordinances. God came out of Heaven to enter man through the new birth of the Holy Spirit.

The Spirit of God bears witness with our spirit. Romans 8:16; I Corinthians 2:11.

The New Birth gives us a Love for Christ and His words; you will begin love JESUS and His words. The New Birth gives us an inward Desire for Purity; the Holy Spirit lives in us and He conforms us to JESUS' image. After we enter the Kingdom of God, we do not enjoy sinning anymore. The New Birth gives us a Desire to Witness: John 3:21; we become concerned about other's eternal safety. The New Birth is a Completion: we can Never be born twice physically, and we can never born twice spiritually. The New Birth begins a Commencement; we Begin to grow; we begin to learn to walk and talk and obey the Holy Spirit. The New Birth gives us a Certainty: Have you ever been born? Well, I'm doing the best I can. A birth is a Certainty; The New Birth brings us Salvation, and Salvation is an exclamation point, not a question mark. I can never take credit for my physical birth, but I am very sure it happened. The blood of my mother was shed at my first birth; the Blood of the Son of God was shed for my New Birth. I can never take credit for my new birth, but I am very sure it has happened. Ye MUST be Born Again; this is an absolute Necessity for going to heaven. The New Birth brings a Compensation: The Lord is rich unto all that call upon Him; we become joint heirs of Christ.

To understand God and His miracles, 

you must first become one of His Miracles. 

Until you are born again, 

you cannot understand the Bible, 

because you reading someone else's mail.

O GIVE THANKS

It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto Thy name, O most High. Praise ye the LORD. O give thanks unto the LORD; for HE is good: for His mercy endureth for ever. Therefore I will give thanks unto Thee, O LORD, among the heathen, and I will sing praises unto Thy name. Give thanks unto the LORD, call upon His name, make known HIS DEEDS among the people. O give thanks unto the LORD; for He is good; for His mercy endureth for ever. O LORD my God, I will give thanks unto Thee for ever. So we Thy people and sheep of Thy pasture will give Thee thanks for ever. At midnight I will rise to give thanks unto Thee because of Thy righteous judgments. I will give Thee thanks in the great congregation: I will praise Thee among much people. Save us, O LORD our God, and gather us from among the heathen, to give thanks unto Thy holy name, and to TRIUMPH in Thy praise. 

Unto Thee, O God, do we give thanks, unto Thee do we give thanks: for that Thy name is near Thy wondrous works declare. O give thanks unto the God of gods: for His mercy endureth for ever. O give thanks to the LORD of lords: for His mercy endureth for ever. O give thanks unto the God of heaven: for His mercy endureth for ever. 

Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.

But thanks be to God, which giveth us the VICTORY through our Lord Jesus Christ. Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to TRIUMPH in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of His knowledge by us in every place. And they sang together by course in praising and giving thanks unto the LORD; because HE is good, for His mercy endureth for ever toward Israel. Sing unto the LORD, O ye saints of His, and give thanks at the remembrance of His holiness. 

Thanks be unto God for His unspeakable gift. Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. O give thanks unto the LORD, for He is good: for His mercy endureth for ever. Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. Be ye Thankful. By Him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to HIS name. 

We give Thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because Thou hast taken to Thee Thy great power, and hast reigned.

SENT LEANNESS

And He gave them their request; 

but sent leanness into their soul.

MY STRENGTH

I will love Thee, O Lord, my Strength. If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small. My soul melteth for heaviness: strengthen Thou me according unto Thy word. In the day when I cried Thou answeredst me, and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul. The Lord is my Tock, and my Tortress, and my Deliverer; my God, my Strength, in Whom I will trust; my Buckler, and the Horn of my Salvation, and my High Tower. Seek the Lord, and His Strength: seek His face evermore.  The Lord is my Strength and Song, and is become my Salvation. He weakened my strength in the way; He shortened my days. 

The Lord will give strength unto His people; the Lord will bless His people with peace. Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in Thy sight, O Lord, my Strength, and my Redeemer. But be not Thou far from me, O Lord: O my Strength, haste Thee to help me. The Lord is my Light and my Salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the Strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and He shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord. 

The Lord is my Strength and my Shield; my heart trusted in Him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise Him. Pull me out of the net that they have laid privily for me: for Thou art my Strength. But the Salvation of the righteous is of the Lord: He is their Strength in the time of trouble. O spare me, that I may recover strength, before I go hence, and be no more. God is our Refuge and Strength, a very present help in trouble. Lo, this is the man that made not God his Strength; but trusted in the abundance of his riches, and strengthened himself in his wickedness. Unto Thee, O my Strength, will I sing: for God is my Defence, and the God of my mercy. In God is my Salvation and my Glory: the Rock of my Strength, and my Refuge, is in God. 

Cast me not off in the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength faileth. I will go in the Strength of the Lord God: I will make mention of Thy Righteousness, even of Thine only. Blessed is the man whose Strength is in Thee; in whose heart are the ways of them. My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the Strength of my heart, and my Portion for ever. Sing aloud unto God our Strength: make a joyful noise unto the God of Jacob. Blessed be the Lord my Strength, which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight. A wise man scaleth the city of the mighty, and casteth down the strength of the confidence thereof. 

A wise man is strong; yea, a man of knowledge increaseth strength. The way of the Lord is strength to the upright. Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom: I am Understanding; I have Strength. Seek the Lord and His Strength, seek His face continually. Glory and honour are in His presence; Strength and gladness are in His place. 

Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself. But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren. And after he had spent some time there, he departed, and went over all the country of Galatia and Phrygia in order, strengthening all the disciples. For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. 

And He said unto me, My Grace is sufficient for thee: for my Strength is made perfect in weakness. That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might by His Spirit in the inner man. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me. Strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness. But the God of all grace, Who hath called us unto His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God. I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept My word, and hast not denied My name. 

THEY MADE KNOWN

And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us. And they came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger. And when they had seen it, they made known abroad the saying which was told them concerning this child. And all they that heard it wondered at those things which were told them by the shepherds. But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them. Luke 2:15-20

CHRIST JESUS is the Lamb of God; The Savior of the entire world without end. JESUS entered into this world as a helpless Jewish baby in a manger, a filthy feed trough. The Creator became absolutely dependent on His mother Mary. His Majesty stepped down from His throne; The Dayspring from on high visited us; The Beauty of Holiness became Sin for us; The KING whose name is the LORD of hosts visited Earth; God was manifest in the flesh, and was found in fashion as a Jewish babe by the shepherds. The merciful Father sent JESUS; and He laid aside His Eternal Robe of Righteousness and put on swaddling clothes in Bethlehem's manger. Behold the humble Savior: He was RICH, yet for my sake, He became poor. He owns the entire universe, but He died a poor man, bleeding and naked on the Cross. The Great King of Glory became the meek and lowly Savior, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the Cross. 

The shepherds came with haste to visit the Lamb of God. JESUS' hands touched and healed despised lepers, and He also healed hopeless blind beggars. He was hungry and weary, but He is my Bread of Life and my Strength. The Maker became a man. He was thirsty on the Cross, but He is my Water of Life. He was weary, but He is my Rest and my Way. He was wounded, but His stripes heal my Soul. He had no where to lay His head, but He is preparing a mansion for me. He paid tribute, but He is the King. He was the Truth, but was accused of false witness. He was betrayed for 30 pieces of silver, yet He redeems us bankrupt sinners freely. He was forsaken by all, but He will never leave me or forsake me. The high and lofty One became meek and lowly. He who inhabits Eternity entered into time. 

The Creator Himself became one of His creatures. The Immortal One became a human being to die for human sin. The Father of mercies and the God all comfort was scourged and spit upon. Himself at the mercy of His creation. JESUS had to learn to walk and talk and learn a language. The Shepherd of the galaxies came to seek and save lost souls. The Sure Foundation was laid low in the tomb of Joseph of Arimathaea. The Creator crying in a crib; the Ancient of days sleeping in a manger. The God of all flesh, now dwells in human flesh in the person of JESUS of Nazareth: Nothing is too hard for HIM. The Ruler of the stars was born under the Star of Bethlehem. He was brought as a lamb to the slaughter, but He is my Good Shepherd. Jesus died for my sins, and He eternally destroyed death for me. Jesus wept, but He will wipe away my tears eternally. JESUS came down here, so He could bring me up there. The shepherds heard, believed, and then through faith responded to the heavenly message delivered by the angel of the Lord, and they came with haste to see JESUS. After the shepherds met JESUS, they were busy getting the Word out.

Now understand: Believing is responding to the Gospel and receiving the Savior Himself into your heart through Faith in His Blood Atonement for your sins. The Holy Spirit makes JESUS known unto us through the Gospel; the Holy Spirit must give us the hearing of Faith. The shepherds spread the message everywhere about the Savior, because they couldn't keep JESUS a secret. The shepherds could not be quiet about the Lamb of God, because He would soon become the Good Shepherd Who would lay down His life for the sheep. 

WALK WORTHY

I will call upon the Lord, Who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.  I am not worthy of the least of all the mercies, and of all the truth, which THOU hast shewed unto Thy servant.

I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire. There cometh one mightier than I after me, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to stoop down and unloose. Then Jesus went with them. And when he was now not far from the house, the centurion sent friends to HIM, saying unto HIM, Lord, trouble not thyself: for I am not worthy that Thou shouldest enter under my roof: wherefore neither thought I myself worthy to come unto THEE: but say in a word, and my servant shall be healed.

Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance.

And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for his name.

WORTHY IS THE LAMB that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing. THOU ART WORTHY, O LORD, to receive glory and honour and power: for Thou hast created all things, and for Thy pleasure they are and were created.

I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called. For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness.

As ye know how we exhorted and comforted and charged every one of you, as a father doth his children, that ye would walk worthy of God, who hath called you unto His kingdom and glory. They shall walk with ME in white: for they are worthy. And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after ME, is not worthy of ME. Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer: Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of His goodness, and the work of faith with power.

The labourer is worthy of his reward. (of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth.

ALL THE DAY

Lead me in Thy Truth, and teach me: for Thou art the God of my Salvation; on THEE do I wait all the day. And my tongue shall speak of Thy Righteousness and of Thy Praise all the day long. From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the LORD'S name is to be praised. Let not thine heart envy sinners: but be thou in the fear of the LORD all the day long. In God we boast all the day long, and praise Thy Name for ever.  Let my mouth be filled with Thy Praise and with Thy Honour all the day. My mouth shall shew forth Thy Righteousness and Thy Salvation all the day; for I know not the numbers thereof. My tongue also shall talk of Thy Righteousness all the day long: for they are confounded, for they are brought unto shame, that seek my hurt. In Thy Name shall they rejoice all the day: and in Thy Righteousness shall they be exalted. O how love I Thy Law! it is my meditation all the day. Why stand ye here all the day idle?

SET YOUR HEART

There is none that seeketh after God. Human nature (the carnal mind) wants to enjoy safety, health, peace and prosperity (the mercies and goodness of the only wise God); but human nature will not seek after the person and will of God (The Father of our Lord Jesus Christ). But CHRIST JESUS came to seek and save that which is lost. THE LORD JESUS CHRIST came into the world to save sinners from the wrath to come, that is justly due to human sin. The Father seeketh the Soul, that will worship HIM in spirit and in truth. Gentle reminder: There is no peace in Sin. You are seeking something: What are you seeking today? Is JESUS your heart's one object of pursuit?

God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God. O God, thou art my God; early will I seek Thee: my soul thirsteth for Thee, my flesh longeth for Thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is. The humble shall see this, and be glad: and your heart shall live that seek God. Let all those that seek Thee rejoice and be glad in Thee: and let such as love Thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified. Evil men understand not judgment: but they that seek the Lord understand all things. Seek ye the Lord while He may be found, call ye upon Him while He is near. And ye shall seek ME, and find ME, when ye shall search for ME with all your heart. It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is Thy faithfulness. The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in HIM. The Lord is good unto them that wait for HIM, to the soul that seeketh HIM. I will go and return to MY place, till they acknowledge their offence, and seek MY face: in their affliction they will seek ME early. 

Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till HE come and rain righteousness upon you. Seek the Lord, and ye shall live. Seek HIM that maketh the seven stars and Orion, and turneth the shadow of death into the morning, and maketh the day dark with night: that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The Lord is His name. O that I knew where I might find HIM! Behold the Lamb of God! I will seek HIM Whom my Soul loveth.

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His Righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: for every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. Either what woman having ten pieces of silver, if she lose one piece, doth not light a candle, and sweep the house, and seek diligently till she find it?

For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost. Then Jesus turned, and saw them following, and saith unto them, What seek ye?  How can ye believe, which receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that cometh from God only? When the people therefore saw that Jesus was not there, neither his disciples, they also took shipping, and came to Capernaum, seeking for Jesus. Looking unto JESUS, the Author and Finisher of our Faith. Looking for that Blessed Hope and the glorious appearing and the Great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ. Behold, as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress; so our eyes wait upon the LORD our God, until that He have Mercy upon us. My soul waiteth for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning.

The adversaries of the LORD shall be broken to pieces; out of heaven shall HE thunder upon them: the LORD shall judge the ends of the earth; and HE shall give strength unto HIS KING, and exalt the horn of HIS ANOINTED.

THE TWO DESIRES

Human Nature Desires:

The carnal religionist desires to look good publicly, but not to Be Good inwardly and privately for Jesus' sake. Human nature can enjoy religion, but not JESUS CHRIST Himself. Human nature craves the world, sighs for human approval and praise, seeks ease and comfort, and indulges with pride in the vain notion of self-righteousness. Human nature does not need God, because it is satisfied with surface religion. The carnal mind has a very attentive ear to every new notion, and gives careful attention to external religion. The vain convictionite refuses to see the Savior; they are so Blind, that even if they were transported to the edge of the Sun, they still could not see. Human nature insanely rejects the Gospel, despises the Savior, and laughs at His sinless Blood Atonement for human sin as a delusion. Human nature loves to dream up self-righteous nonsense and religious absurdities. Human nature plots and schemes to set up its own vain righteousness, and refuses to concede to Christ and His Righteousness. Human nature loves to stay busy with vain entertainment, vain ceremonies, and dreaming over vain philosophies, and not after Christ Himself. Human nature desires vain wisdom, vain righteousness, and vain glory. Human nature's ignorant, vain-glorious attempts to establish its own righteousness by its owns and merits and religiousness will only result in temporal misery and eternal damnation. Human nature leans to its own understanding, turns to its own way, loves to be its own blind guide, and soon falls into a deep ditch. Human nature desires false profession, hypocritical formality, and a vain show. Original thinkers boast of their enlightenment here in the 21st century, but all of their silly ideas are vain attempts to extinguish the undeniable facts of the Gospel. Vain men would be wise, but they are void of True Understanding from above. Human nature's vain ablutions (the act of washing one's self) only results in making itself more and more filthy in the sight of God.

And the Light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. And this is the condemnation, that Light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than Light, because their deeds were evil. I AM the Light of the world: he that followeth ME shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the Light of Life. He that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth. I AM come a Light into the world, that whosoever believeth on ME should not abide in darkness. The darkness is past, and the True Light now shineth.

The Divine Nature Desires:

The Holy Spirit works in us and awakens us to our sinfulness and defilement, gives us Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ (His Precious Blood, Sinless Atonement), grants the New Birth and Eternal Life, imparts the Divine Nature, and the Grace of God stirs up within us deep Contrition, true Repentance, holy tenderness and lowliness, and thoughtfulness about offending God and grieving the Holy Spirit in our thoughts, words and deeds (The Fear of God). Desire after inward Purity for Jesus' sake. Desire to keep myself pure, the salvation of others, the good of the saints, the truth in my inward parts, to honor God in all things. My one desire is that I may do God's will from day to day for Jesus' sake. HE must INCREASE, but i must decrease. Desire only to praise, glorify, and magnify JESUS, and to only Glory in His Cross. Desire to pray and witness in the Holy Ghost, so that the Holy Spirit will bless the truth of the Gospel, and bring the lost out of bondage and despair. Desire to bring saints and sinners away from sinning and to the Savior, and edify the body of Christ. Desire to depart and be with Christ which is far better. Desire Purity in my inward parts and daily conversation (walk of life). Desire to be made right with God, conformed to the image of Christ, by yielding to the mighty working of the Holy Spirit. Desire to speak with JESUS daily in prayer and communion, desiring to walk in the Spirit, seeking fellowship with the Father. I desire not to believe what I may dream up or imagine, not what I invent or think out, but to believe only in The Holy Scriptures, The Lord Jesus Christ (His Precious Blood and Perfect Righteousness), and The Gospel of the Grace of God. Sincerely Desire to conquer my sins through the help and strength of the Holy Spirit. 

The FATHER hath made JESUS to be Sin for us.

BEWARE, BEWARE

Beware of religious bewitchers, beguilers, and spoilers:  Human nature is hopelessly self-righteous, and loves to impress men, and put on an act: the religionist (the bewitcher) lives in bondage and tries to regulate his life by endless rules, rituals, diets, garb, denominations, bible versions, holidays, bodily disciplines; endless self-righteous do's and don'ts. Religious regulations appeal to the Flesh; the Flesh tirelessly strives and competes for outward superior spirituality. These are sometimes called "convictions" by the religionist (the spoiler).

It is impossible to control or better the Flesh by man-made disciplines, which are only vain "rudiments" of this world's religions. Days, diets, and fleshly disciplines have no sanctifying value; They are useless in the sight of God. Superficial Second-hand Lifeless Surface religion leaves you a dismal void in the end. Pretending Super-Pious Professing Hypocritical Self-Righteous religionists go about to establish their own righteousness, and refuse to Submit to the Righteousness of God. 

Carnal regulations and man-made religious disciplines will never commend you to God. Always remember now: God is no respecter of persons. The LORD desires truth and sincerity in our INWARD PARTS, deep down within our heart, desires, soul, habits, mind, thoughts, conscience. The Gospel cuts to the heart, and demands inward purity and sincerity. Religious observances make the religionist feel and look spiritual. The Flesh loves to be religious in the sight of man, but the Flesh profiteth nothing. The religionist loves the praise of men more than the praise of God. Human nature refuses to devote itself to Christ and the will of God, and the carnal mind refuses to be led by the Spirit, where there is true Liberty, and not bondage. 

Just like you would make a sincere vow to your wife to keep yourself pure for her, for Love's sake. Likewise, simply and sincerely make a solemn promise to the Lord Jesus Christ Himself, to please Him with your thoughts and actions each and every day, to be pure for His sake, and to walk in the Spirit, be led by the Spirit through each day. Take up your cross, die daily to self-will and self-righteousness, deny yourself, follow JESUS from the heart, abide in Him-cultivate a living Heart Connection-Fellowship-Communion with the Father, The True the Living God. Always desiring to keep your promise of discipleship to JESUS, stay close to Him, and seek to please Him in all things. The letter killeth, but the Spirit giveth Life. 

Your Soul needs Christ's Nourishment and Life, not religious regulations. Continually resort to JESUS; always be seeking and asking the Holy Spirit for more grace, strength and help. Exercise discipline in the Spirit of God; exercise yourself unto godliness, to the glory of God. Charity puts others first, and builds up others. Religion produces a big head; Charity produces a big heart. Superficial convictionites always look down on other, they are not uplifting and encouraging to struggling souls. 

Keep your eyes on JESUS, not on yourself, or others. It pleased the Father that in JESUS should all Fulness dwell. You are getting after something; Always be getting After Christ. Always give the Lord Jesus Christ the Preeminence, for the Fulness of the Blessing of the Gospel dwells in HIM; therefore Receive God's Fulness from JESUS. Religion results only in vanity, vexation of spirit, and emptiness. Let no man judge you. Seek the Good Part: Learn of JESUS, for HE is meek and lowly in heart, and ye shall find REST to your Soul. 

* And when they come from the market, except they wash, they eat not. And many other things there be, which they have received to hold, as the washing of cups, and pots, brasen vessels, and of tables. Then the Pharisees and scribes asked him, Why walk not thy disciples according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashen hands? He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth ME with their lips, but their heart is far from ME. * Who art thou that judgest another man’s servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand. One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind. He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks. For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself.

I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean.

* Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ. Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind, and not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God. Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances, (touch not; taste not; handle not; which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men? Which things have indeed a shew of wisdom in will worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body: not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh. 

* Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God. Give none offence, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God: even as I please all men in all things, not seeking mine own profit, but the profit of many, that they may be saved.
