Waiting Patiently

Good things come to those who wait - 

on the Lord Jesus Christ. 

I have waited for thy Salvation, O Lord.  Wait on the Lord, keep His way: be of good courage, and He shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.  Our soul waiteth for the Lord Jesus Christ: He is our help and our shield.  Rest in the Lord Jesus Christ, and wait patiently for Him from heaven.  And now, Lord Jesus, what wait I for? my Hope is in Thee alone. I waited patiently for the Lord Jesus Christ; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.  I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait, and in His word do I hope.

My soul waiteth for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning.  Say not thou, I will recompense evil; but wait on the Lord, and He shall save thee.  O Lord, have we waited for Thee; the desire of our soul is to Thy name, and to the remembrance of Thee. The Lord is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for Him. O Lord, be gracious unto us; we have waited for Thee: be Thou their arm every morning, our Salvation also in the time of trouble. But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

The Lord is good unto them that wait for Him, to the soul that seeketh Him. It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the Salvation of the Lord.  Therefore I will look unto the Lord; I will wait for the God of my Salvation: my God will hear me.  Even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body. Waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ. And it came to pass, that, when Jesus was returned, the people gladly received him: for they were all waiting for Him.  For they themselves shew of us what manner of entering in we had unto you, and how ye turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God; And to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.  For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.
