Have you received Christ Jesus Himself into your heart by faith in His shed blood? *John 1:12* Right after you receive Christ as your Sin-Bearer, you will begin to love God and to hate your sins. When you love someone, you won't misrepresent, mistreat or misjudge them. When you love someone, you want to spend time with them, you like to spend money on them, you like to think about them, and can't wait to talk to them again. If you love someone, you stay away from their enemies, and you rejoice in their victories. Do you love God?
Trust now in the substitutionary, atoning sacrifice of Christ Jesus Himself; trust Him to take your sins away, and blot them out forever with His own Blood. O God, I am heartily sorry my sins and rejection of Christ which have offended You; I detest all my sins most of all because they offend You. O God, who are all Good and deserving of all my love. I firmly resolve, with the help of Your grace, to confess my sins and forsake them, and to love you sincerely for Christ's sake. Christ died for the ungodly; the Just for the unjust; the Innocent for the guilty; the Worthy for the unworthy; the Sinless for the sinful; the Best for the worst. Trust God Incarnate who was crucified for your sins and rose from the dead the third day to save your soul from the love of sin and the wrath of God. Trust Christ's Precious Blood entirely, and you are freely forgiven this very instant. Part with your sins and self-righteousness; and trust Jesus' Blood Atonement now (Romans 5:8-9); Receive Christ Himself into your heart by faith (John 1:12; James 1:21; Romans 5:11; Ephesians 2:8-9).
