Substitution 3

Redemption by Substitution is the center of the Gospel Message and the choicest truth you will ever hear. You won't hear this message on TV, the radio, or even at church anymore. This truth is 'buried' under the smooth words and fair speeches of today's religion. The story of God's love and blood is heavenly music to the 'real' sinner's ears. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is a fact: God came to earth and dwelt in human flesh – He was the Son of God and the Son of Mary - He lived, loved, suffered, died, and rose again for sinful man. His sinless sacrifice once offered has forever put away sin. Christ is able to save the vilest sinner to the uttermost. This is not fiction, a dream, or a parable, but literal facts. You have real sin and real guilt - you need a real atonement - sure forgiveness - Christ has opened the way to God.

You will soon enter the real dire straits of life and death - and your only Friend who can really and actually help you in your hour of need is the Crucified and Risen God. Death and judgment are not fiction – you must seek God's grace and cast your sinful soul on the Bleeding Substitute in true and real faith. The Lord Jesus must be believingly received - a sinful soul can only rest at the foot of the Cross.

The Holy Spirit through the Law of God first makes the sinner know that he is guilty before God, and then makes him realize and feel the justice of God must punish his sin. Only the Holy Spirit can convince you of your sin. It takes a miracle to make a man know he is in very deed a sinner. Human nature kicks against this truth. The Law of God must show you your outward sins and then reveal to you your inward rebellion and guilt. The Holy Ghost will show you plainly your rebellion against the holiness of God. The killing sentence of the law bruises, breaks, and crushes all your self-righteousness. The Holy Spirit will then show you that eternal punishment must follow your sin. The soul that sinneth, it shall die eternally in the lake of fire. It is a miracle that you are not already in Hell right now. You are on the very brink of eternity.

The Law of God will make you speechless, without excuse, and stop all your self-justification. You cannot offer anything that will turn back God’s justice and wrath. You are shut up under the sentence of the law. It is impossible for you to clear yourself of your crimes against God Himself. The Holy Spirit must wean you from all your vain thoughts of self-goodness and make you abhor the notion of self-justification in the sight of the pure and holy God by your own works, feelings, or prayers. The Holy Spirit also shows you your sins against the law of God, light and knowledge, your conscience, and the love and blood of God. Remember - Only the Holy Ghost can apply the Blood of Christ to your filthy soul, not baptism or works. The Bleeding Substitute opens the gate of faith to the guilty sinner. Jesus was absolutely and literally the Substitute for sinners.

Redemption by Substitution is the grandest truth in Heaven and earth. Christ's atoning substitution is where justice and mercy embraced each other at Calvary’s Cross. Christ finished a perfect righteousness and an infinite substitution. Hallelujah for the blood of God - the sin-cleansing fountain. The Lamb of God has been slain, the Ransom price and has been paid in full. The sin debt has been cancelled, and all the sin of the world was laid on JESUS at Calvary. Praise God for the sin-cleansing blood of the Crucified One. He is mighty to save, and strong to deliver. Christ Jesus came down from Heaven’s glory and the redemption is done, pardon is now free for all, perfect salvation is available, free grace through the sin-pardoning blood of the pierced Prince of Peace.

True faith only believes Bible facts. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved. True faith stakes its eternal destiny upon trust on the Bleeding Substitute. The Savior bore all your sins in His own body on the tree. Only the Substitute can secure your soul from God's vengeance, justice, and wrath. He was absolutely and literally a substitute for sinners. He bore our sins, He was made to be SIN for us. Here's the truth of Substitution pure and simple - Christ was divine, Christ was human, Christ living and loving, Christ suffering and dying, Christ risen and ascended, Christ coming again and reigning. Let your eternal confidence be in the blood of Christ alone.

Receive the Substitute and you are no longer under judgment and condemnation. In Christ we are judged, condemned, punished, clear of the law and all its penalties, Christ's atonement has answered all the demands of God's justice. The soul that sinneth it shall die, there is eternal death demanded by God for your personal sins, life for life is rendered, infinitely precious life of Christ. The lightning of God's vengeance has struch the substitute, it will not strike the cross again, sinner friend - flee to the Cross. Death has already been there. Place your undivided faith in the Bleeding Mediator.

You've sinned long and hard against God's law and His love and blood. God's Justice has been satisfied through the substitutionary work of Jesus Christ alone. The way of safety for doomed and guilty sinners is to be found only inthe sacrifice of Another on their behalf. View the flowing of the Savior's blood - only His wounds can make your peace with God. Christ died for the sinner's gain. His sacrifice is the death-blow to all your self-sufficiency. Flee from your own nothingness and trust His all-sufficient substitutionary work. Enlightenment, not head-knowledge; Faith, not imagination; the Scriptures, not tradition; the Gospel, not philosophy; Redemption, not religion; the Person, not the story; the Blood, not baptism; Grace, not works; the Cross, not the crucifix; the Savior, not the Church.

Christ's precious blood will end your fears and doubts. He came to save lost and wretched sinners. Bring your sinful soul to Him; He will never cast you out. The blood atonement of Christ gives rest to the conscience and glory to God. Consider the Bleeding Substitute. Come up close to the Cross and look into His marred face, thorn-crowned brow, bleeding shoulders, pierced side, nailed hands and feet, Give the Suffering Christ your faith-look with the eyes of your heart. Jesus bled to death on your behalf - for your personal sins. He loved you and gave Himself for you. He offered up Himself and died for you. He is the only Substitute for guilty sinners. Trust simply in the Substitutionary Sacrifice of Jesus Christ, and rest wholly and only there. Trust your soul in the hands of Christ Himself - He took your sins upon Himself by His sinless and infinite substitution.

Jesus is the 'real' sinner's only Friend. Your best works are evil works. Christ died to ransom you from sin's damning power. Only the Holy Spirit can make you feel your sins and the eternal danger you face without Christ. Trust Christ now, trust Him altogether, and trust HIM alone. Rest in Christ; believe that He died for you personally. Your soul's one and only hope for time and eternity is Christ Jesus, only Jesus, Jesus Crucified and Risen Again from the dead. Trust only in Christ's works, not yours. Come to the SUBSTITUTE and receive ALL for NOTHING, or you will receive nothing at all. This is the central doctrine, the greath truth, the center of the Gospel - REDEMPTION BY SUBSTITUTION.

The Substitute opens the gate of hope wide. Christ's redeeming work is the center of the target at which faith aims. This is the point where saving faith mainly fixes itself. (II Cor 5:19; Gal 3:13) The substitutionary work of Christ is the sweetest comfort to the guilty sinner. Jesus took all your sins upon Himself; He bore all your sins in His own body on the tree. Christ took your sins – public and private, all your sins, upon Himself and died for your personal sins against God. God in the flesh suffered for your sins. Jesus bled to death to save your soul. Come now and believe in Him, and you are saved on the spot. Look to Jesus’ bleeding wounds and live.

Jesus Christ, the Son of God, lived and died and rose again for sinners, and you are bidden to come and trust Him. Rely upon Him; depend upon Him; hang your whole weight upon Him; Come unto Him, and He will give your soul rest. Call out to JESUS – Plead Guilty - Plead for God’s mercy to save you – Plead for Christ’s blood to cleanse you – Plead for the Holy Spirit to help you to truly believe and trust in God’s Son right now. Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord Jesus Christ shall be saved.
