Evolution and atheism are simply the products of human fear. The atheist knows he doesn't have the answers for this life and the after life. The atheist knows there is something more beyond this short life, but they just can't figure it out in their own wisdom, so they cast all their hope on Darwin. The atheist's response to his inward fear is to set up idols and cling to them. Atheism is only a desperate defense mechanism of depraved human nature against the reality of sin, death, coming judgment, and eternal damnation.
The atheist is so confounded, his life is haphazard, and within he is living in chaos (afraid, discouraged, burdened, frustrated, anxious, stressed out, restless, unstable, frantic, neurotic, rattled, and broken). Sin has crushed the poor soul of the atheist. The atheist's existence is meaningless; he is only concerned with what he has accomplished, or what he possesses, or how much he has made, or where he has been. The atheist cherishes and is committed to his sins, that is why he hates God. The lost atheist can't make sense of his life; because he is only concerned with himself, and not God. Compared to Eternity these things are all irrelevant, and they are all vanity and vexation of spirit. The atheist's only trusts his own instincts and follows them like a selfish animal. You have fallen prey to the demons of lust, alcoholism, self, chemicals, pornography, and greed. Darwinism is nothing but a misplaced confidence that leads to Hell. The challenge of Truth gets under the skin of the atheist, because they don't understand the Truth they are encountering. The atheist remains under the tyranny of Sin and Unbelief and in the dark about his purpose here on earth, and the meaning of eternity. All atheists fear death and yearn to comprehend how they got here and why, and they ache to know the love of their Creator and they will feel that ache till they humble themselves and trust Jesus Christ. Believe in the Son of God, cry out to Him for mercy. Genuine living faith in Jesus Christ is what you need most.
The fear of the Lord is to hate sin and depart from evil: God hates pride, arrogancy, the evil way, and the froward mouth. Atheists think too highly of themselves, in speaking too well of themselves, in despising others, in setting up and trusting to their own righteousness, and glorying the power of human nature. "The evil way," is any evil habit of sinning; a man's own godless way, which he chooses and delights in, and which leads to eternal destruction: and "the froward mouth" is the mouth that speaks perverse things about God, His Son, and His words, things contrary to a man's own sinful condition, and contrary to the truth of the Gospel.
For every atheist that doeth evil hateth the light (Jesus Christ), neither cometh to the light, lest his sinful deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. Only trusting in Christ, and the New Birth of the Holy Ghost, can give you a new heart and new appetites and desires.
The atheist amasses his head knowledge and books and degrees, but these things can never take away the fear of death. The atheist is very superstitious: he trusts his immortal soul with Darwin's silly conjectures. Worldly education is only another idol they cling to. Evolution affords the atheist nothing in terms of peace, forgiveness, or hope beyond the grave. The fact of the matter is when atheists begin to fear and realize that all is not well with their soul, their natural inclination is not to run to God, it is to make gods for themselves or gods of themselves. They love lies - they turn to the fairy tale that Darwin CREATED out of his own sinful mind. Your own wisdom, physical strength, and earthly riches will not get you past death and the judgment to come. You may think you life is full of worries and problems - but death is going to be total disaster and destruction for you without Christ. The 'theory' of Evolution is only wind and confusion. Stop listening and yielding to the voices of this world, hearken to the voice of the Holy Spirit - you are sinful and in need of the Crucified and Risen Savior today. The only way to approach death safely is though the shed blood of Jesus Christ. Life is brief and frail, time is flying, you are fading like a leaf, your own righteousness cries against you, prepare to meet God, flee from the wrath to come - sinner, come on to the Cross.
Atheists think and act like they are tough guys: they are confident in their own abilities, in what they have learned, in what they have bought, in what they have achieved, built and earned. Total abject poverty and desperate weakness is the real state of the atheist within. They spend all of their life trying to 'ACT' strong, and they try to hold their own life together. You think you're tough, but you're not. You are afraid to admit you are weak, helpless, and ignorant of God's Righteousness. You are living in total chaos, you have idols all over the place that you devote your heart to every day. You're not willing to admit you're sinful, helpless, and lost, so you will never know God's Son. The atheist doesn't think he needs a helping hand (Isaiah 53:1), he would rather live on with his silly self-made idols. The atheist chooses to go it on his on, and he ends up damning himself.
The rejection of Jesus Christ is your most fatal mistake. Stop working for your own righteousness. Your soul is longing for real rest and peace - Matthew 11:28, Colossians 1:20, and Ephesians 2:14 - Christ Jesus Himself is the soul's only Rest and Peace. Come on now, Rest on the Blood of Christ's Cross, receive free peace from Christ's Blood Atonement. God's truth and purpose and Son never change. Never ever trust yourself, only trust the Crucified One who made you and died for you, and wants to rescue you from sin's tyranny, slavery, and penalty. Chaos or Christ? Which will it be for you?
