Hear Attentively (1)

Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah!

For thus hath the Lord spoken unto me, Like as the lion and the young lion roaring on his prey, when a multitude of shepherds is called forth against him, he will not be afraid of their voice, nor abase himself for the noise of them: so shall the Lord of hosts come down to fight for mount Zion, and for the hill thereof.  Judah is a lion's whelp: from the prey, my son, thou art gone up: he stooped down, he couched as a lion, and as an old lion; who shall rouse him up? Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.

For He is Lord of lords and King of kings!

I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.  Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before His throne; And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful Witness, and the First begotten of the dead, and the Prince of the kings of the earth. Unto Him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in His own blood, And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father;

To Him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

Behold, He cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see Him, and they also which pierced Him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of Him. Even so, Amen. Why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen Him go into heaven. Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God.

I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great Voice, as of a trumpet.

Many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased. And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time:  And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. This is the disciple which testifieth of these things, and wrote these things: and we know that his testimony is true.

For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:  I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.  Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.  And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.  Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted. Though thou exalt thyself as the eagle, and though thou set thy nest among the stars, thence will I bring thee down, saith the Lord

The chariots shall rage in the streets, they shall justle one against another in the broad ways: they shall seem like torches, they shall run like the lightnings.  Prepare slaughter for his children for the iniquity of their fathers; that they do not rise, nor possess the land, nor fill the face of the world with cities. The chariots shall be with flaming torches in the day of his preparation, and the fir trees shall be terribly shakenat that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;  Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great Voice, as of a trumpet,

Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the First and the Last: and, What thou seest, write in a book.  And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks; And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle. His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and His eyes were as a flame of fire.  For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;  Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people's: for this he did once, when He offered up himself.

Thus speaketh the Lord God of Israel, saying, Write thee all the words that I have spoken unto thee in a book.  Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter. Now go, write it before them in a table, and note it in a book, that it may be for the time to come for ever and ever.  The preacher sought to find out acceptable words: and that which was written was upright, even words of truth. For the Lord hath poured out upon you the spirit of deep sleep, and hath closed your eyes: the prophets and your rulers, the seers hath he covered.  And the vision of all is become unto you as the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one that is learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I cannot; for it is sealed:

And His feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and His voice as the sound of many waters. And He had in his right hand seven stars: and out of His mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and His countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.  His body also was like the beryl, and His face as the appearance of lightning, and His eyes as lamps of fire, and His arms and His feet like in colour to polished brass, and the voice of His words like the voice of a multitude.

And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead. And He laid His right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the First and the Last:  I am He that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.  These things saith He that is holy, He that is true, He that hath the key of David, He that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth.

Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith He that holdeth the seven stars in His right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks; I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars:  And hast borne, and hast patience, and for My name's sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted. And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.  Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and He will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.

Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first loveRemember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.  I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy transgressions, and, as a cloud, thy sins: return unto Me; for I have redeemed thee.  My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitanes, which I also hate.  But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments.  And love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the synagogues. Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness.  Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.

Ye eat the fat, and ye clothe you with the wool, ye kill them that are fed: but ye feed not the flock.  The diseased have ye not strengthened, neither have ye healed that which was sick, neither have ye bound up that which was broken, neither have ye brought again that which was driven away, neither have ye sought that which was lost; but with force and with cruelty have ye ruled them. And they were scattered, because there is no shepherd: and they became meat to all the beasts of the field, when they were scattered.  My sheep wandered through all the mountains, and upon every high hill: yea, my flock was scattered upon all the face of the earth, and none did search or seek after them. No man cared for my soul.

Yea, for thy sake are we killed all the day long; we are counted as sheep for the slaughter. Thou hast given us like sheep appointed for meat; and hast scattered us among the heathen.  Thou makest us a reproach to our neighbours, a scorn and a derision to them that are round about us. Arise for our help, and redeem us for thy mercies' sake. Lord, how long wilt thou look on? rescue my soul from their destructions, my darling from the lions.

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.  Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us.  For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.  Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of His knowledge by us in every place.

And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things saith the First and the Last, which was dead, and is alive; I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan. Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.

Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. These things have I spoken unto you, that ye should not be offended. They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service. And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me.  But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.  But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled;  For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.

And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write; These things saith he which hath the sharp sword with two edges;  I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan's seat is:   But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication. So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitanes, which thing I hate.  Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.

Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.  Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected Me, that I should not reign over them.  Now therefore hearken unto their voice: howbeit yet protest solemnly unto them, and shew them the manner of the king that shall reign over them.

Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?  And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.  Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord.  Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. Though hand join in hand, the wicked shall not be unpunished: but the seed of the righteous shall be delivered.  Love not the worldneither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. Associate yourselves, O ye people, and ye shall be broken in pieces; and give ear, all ye of far countries: gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces; gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces.

And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath His eyes like unto a flame of fire, and His feet are like fine brass;  I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last to be more than the first.

From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members? Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.  Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.

Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.  And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not. Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.

And why wilt thou, my son, be ravished with a strange woman, and embrace the bosom of a stranger? For the ways of man are before the eyes of the Lord, and He pondereth all his goings. His own iniquities shall take the wicked himself, and he shall be holden with the cords of his sins. He shall die without instruction; and in the greatness of his folly he shall go astray.

Because of the multitude of the whoredoms of the wellfavoured harlot, the mistress of witchcrafts, that selleth nations through her whoredoms, and families through her witchcrafts.

Behold, I am against thee, saith the Lord of hosts; and I will discover thy skirts upon thy face, and I will shew the nations thy nakedness, and the kingdoms thy shame. And I will cast abominable filth upon thee, and make thee vile, and will set thee as a gazingstock.

If a ruler hearken to lies, all his servants are wicked.  The ancient and honourable, he is the head; and the prophet that teacheth lies, he is the tail.  A true witness delivereth souls: but a deceitful witness speaketh lies.  He that gathereth in summer is a wise son: but he that sleepeth in harvest is a son that causeth shame. Blessings are upon the head of the just: but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked. Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.  He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God. The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil. There is one come out of thee, that imagineth evil against the Lord, a wicked counsellor.

Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:  Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.  Yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service. The wicked plotteth against the just, and gnasheth upon him with his teeth.

And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment:  They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented;  (Of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth. And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise: God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.

MysteryBabylon The Great, The Mother Of Harlots And Abominations Of The Earth.

And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.  And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus.  How is the faithful city become an harlot! it was full of judgment; righteousness lodged in it; but now murderers.

For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. Such is the way of an adulterous woman; she eateth, and wipeth her mouth, and saith, I have done no wickedness.

And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters: With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication. And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth. And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.

Wherefore, O harlot, hear the word of the Lord:  Thus saith the Lord God; Because thy filthiness was poured out, and thy nakedness discovered through thy whoredoms with thy lovers, and with all the idols of thy abominations, and by the blood of thy children, which thou didst give unto them;  Behold, therefore I will gather all thy lovers, with whom thou hast taken pleasure, and all them that thou hast loved, with all them that thou hast hated; I will even gather them round about against thee, and will discover thy nakedness unto them, that they may see all thy nakedness. And I will judge thee, as women that break wedlock and shed blood are judged; and I will give thee blood in fury and jealousy.

And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.  Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God. Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.

Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.  He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels. And further, by these, my son, be admonished: of making many books there is no end; and much study is a weariness of the flesh. Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.  And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven. Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnationWoe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess. Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also. Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness.

Yea also, because he transgresseth by wine, he is a proud man, neither keepeth at home, who enlargeth his desire as hell, and is as death, and cannot be satisfied, but gathereth unto him all nations, and heapeth unto him all people: Shall not all these take up a parable against him, and a taunting proverb against him, and say, Woe to him that increaseth that which is not his! how long? and to him that ladeth himself with thick clay!

My face is foul with weeping, and on my eyelids is the shadow of death; Not for any injustice in mine hands: also my prayer is pure. O earth, cover not thou my blood, and let my cry have no place.

Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.

Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because ye build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres of the righteous, And say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets. Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets. Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers. Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?

I will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir.   And a man shall be as an hiding place from the wind, and a covert from the tempest; as rivers of water in a dry place, as the shadow of a great rock in a weary land. And the eyes of them that see shall not be dim, and the ears of them that hear shall hearken. The heart also of the rash shall understand knowledge, and the tongue of the stammerers shall be ready to speak plainly. When the scorner is punished, the simple is made wise: and when the wise is instructed, he receiveth knowledge.  Cast out the scorner, and contention shall go out; yea, strife and reproach shall cease.

And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith He that is holy, He that is true, He that hath the key of David, He that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth; I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept My word, and hast not denied My name.

Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? Behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest. And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together. And herein is that saying true, One soweth, and another reapeth. I sent you to reap that whereon ye bestowed no labour: other men laboured, and ye are entered into their labours.

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creatureBehold, the righteous shall be recompensed in the earth: much more the wicked and the sinner.

The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O Lord, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.  I will worship toward Thy holy temple, and praise Thy name for thy lovingkindness and for Thy truth: for Thou hast magnified Thy word above all Thy name.

Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee. Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown. Every word of God is pure: He is a shield unto them that put their trust in Him. Add thou not unto His words, lest He reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.  He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.

For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple. For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men's shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers. But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments.

Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceitsA man that flattereth his neighbour spreadeth a net for his feet. The words of his mouth were smoother than butter, but war was in his heart: his words were softer than oil, yet were they drawn swords.

Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.  For he flattereth himself in his own eyes, until his iniquity be found to be hateful. The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit: he hath left off to be wise, and to do good.  For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.  Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.

He deviseth mischief upon his bed; he setteth himself in a way that is not good; he abhorreth not evil. Thou givest thy mouth to evil, and thy tongue frameth deceit.  Thou lovest evil more than good; and lying rather than to speak righteousness.  Break thou the arm of the wicked and the evil man: seek out his wickedness till thou find none. God shall likewise destroy thee for ever, he shall take thee away, and pluck thee out of thy dwelling place, and root thee out of the land of the living. Selah. Knowest thou not this of old, since man was placed upon earth, That the triumphing of the wicked is short, and the joy of the hypocrite but for a moment?

Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Because thou hast set thine heart as the heart of God; They shall bring thee down to the pit, and thou shalt die the deaths of them that are slain in the midst of the seas. Wilt thou yet say before him that slayeth thee, I am God? but thou shalt be a man, and no God, in the hand of him that slayeth thee. Thou shalt die the deaths of the uncircumcised by the hand of strangers: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord God.

And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.  So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. Thus saith the Lord of hosts, Hearken not unto the words of the prophets that prophesy unto you: they make you vain: they speak a vision of their own heartand not out of the mouth of the Lord

I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran: I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied. But if they had stood in my counsel, and had caused my people to hear my words, then they should have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings. Is not My word like as a fire? saith the Lord; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in piecesAnd the burden of the Lord shall ye mention no more: for every man's word shall be his burden; for ye have perverted the words of the living God, of the Lord of hosts our God.

For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ. But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.  Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children. While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fablesLet no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

THE RAPTURE

After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.  And they that were with me saw indeed the light, and were afraid; but theheard not the voice of him that spake to me. The people therefore, that stood by, and heard it, said that it thundered: others said, An angel spake to him. Hear attentively the noise of His voice, and the sound that goeth out of His mouth. After it a voice roareth: he thundereth with the voice of His excellency; and He will not stay them when His voice is heard. So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for Him shall He appear the second time without sin unto salvation.  Ye do shew the Lord's till He come.

He shall call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, that He may judge his people. My beloved spake, and said unto me, Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away. For, lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone; The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land; The fig tree putteth forth her green figs, and the vines with the tender grape give a good smell. Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away.

Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.  And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God: Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; though my reins be consumed within me. In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. Beware therefore, lest that come upon you, which is spoken of in the prophets;  Behold, ye despisers, and wonder, and perish: for I work a work in your days, a work which ye shall in no wise believe, though a man declare it unto you. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live.

For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast. For, behold, the Lord cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain. Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

At this also my heart trembleth, and is moved out of his place. Hear attentively the noise of his voice, and the sound that goeth out of his mouth. He directeth it under the whole heaven, and his lightning unto the ends of the earth. After it a voice roareth: he thundereth with the voice of his excellency; and he will not stay them when his voice is heard.

My beloved is like a roe or a young hart: behold, he standeth behind our wall, he looketh forth at the windows, shewing himself through the lattice.

So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption: It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power: It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body.

Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live. For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself. For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will.  You better listen up, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.

THE JUDGMENT SEAT OF CHRIST

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.  The fining pot is for silver, and the furnace for gold: but the Lord trieth the hearts.  Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the Lord pondereth the hearts. In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.

For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.  But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.  For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.  So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.  How hast thou helped him that is without power? how savest thou the arm that hath no strength? How hast thou counselled him that hath no wisdom? and how hast thou plentifully declared the thing as it is? To whom hast thou uttered words? and whose spirit came from thee?

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.  Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind; Neither as being lords over God's heritage, but being examples to the flock. And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.

Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible. And if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully.  So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.

And, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and One sat on the throne.  The Lord is in his holy temple, the Lord's throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men.  God reigneth over the heathen: God sitteth upon the throne of his holiness.  Justice and judgment are the habitation of thy throne: mercy and truth shall go before thy face.  A king that sitteth in the throne of judgment scattereth away all evil with his eyes.  Who can say, I have made my heart clean, I am pure from my sin? Thou, O Lordremainest for ever; thy throne from generation to generation.

And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind. And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle. And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come. And when those beasts give glory and honour and thanks to him that sat on the throne, who liveth for ever and ever, The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying,

Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

And there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald. And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.  And there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.  And the four and twenty elders and the four beasts fell down and worshipped God that sat on the throne, saying, Amen; Alleluia. And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, both small and great. And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth.

And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals. And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof? And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon. And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon.

For the Lord hath poured out upon you the spirit of deep sleep, and hath closed your eyes: the prophets and your rulers, the seers hath he covered. And the vision of all is become unto you as the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one that is learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I cannot; for it is sealed: And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I am not learned.

And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.

And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.

In Him was life; and the life was the light of men.

And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LordAnd shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the Lord: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears: But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth: with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.

And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne. And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things. Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God. And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.

Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.  Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared; Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered.

And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever. And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped him that liveth for ever and ever.

Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.

For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

THE TRIBULATION

And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see. And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.  Yea also, because he transgresseth by wine, he is a proud man, neither keepeth at home, who enlargeth his desire as hell, and is as death, and cannot be satisfied, but gathereth unto him all nations, and heapeth unto him all people.

O Assyrian, the rod of mine anger, and the staff in their hand is mine indignation. I will send him against an hypocritical nation, and against the people of my wrath will I give him a charge, to take the spoil, and to take the prey, and to tread them down like the mire of the streets. Howbeit he meaneth not so, neither doth his heart think so; but it is in his heart to destroy and cut off nations not a few.

And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done. Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all. But in his estate shall he honour the God of forces.

And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. His mouth is full of cursing and deceit and fraud: under his tongue is mischief and vanity.  And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time. The Lord shall cut off all flattering lips, and the tongue that speaketh proud things: Who have said, With our tongue will we prevail; our lips are our own: who is lord over us?

And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.

And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken. And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay. Thou lovest all devouring words, O thou deceitful tongue. God shall likewise destroy thee for ever, he shall take thee away, and pluck thee out of thy dwelling place, and root thee out of the land of the living. Selah. Lo, this is the man that made not God his strength; but trusted in the abundance of his riches, and strengthened himself in his wickedness.

For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.

But in his estate shall he honour the God of forces: and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honour with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things. Thus shall he do in the most strong holds with a strange god, whom he shall acknowledge and increase with glory: and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for gain. Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up. And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people.  It shall devour the strength of his skin: even the firstborn of death shall devour his strength. His confidence shall be rooted out of his tabernacle, and it shall bring him to the king of terrors.

And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon. Woe to the idol shepherd that leaveth the flock! the sword shall be upon his arm, and upon his right eye: his arm shall be clean dried up, and his right eye shall be utterly darkened.

And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.  He shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.  He shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries.  And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many.

For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh  upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.  There is no peace, saith the Lord, unto the wicked.

Then said I, Ah, Lord God! behold, the prophets say unto them, Ye shall not see the sword, neither shall ye have famine; but I will give you assured peace in this place. How can ye believe, which receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that cometh from God onlyWe looked for peace, but no good came; and for a time of health, and behold trouble!

And after the league made with him he shall work deceitfully: for he shall come up, and shall become strong with a small people. He shall enter peaceably even upon the fattest places of the province... And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

The highways lie waste, the wayfaring man ceaseth: he hath broken the covenant, he hath despised the cities, he regardeth no man. For thus saith the Lord God; I will even deal with thee as thou hast done, which hast despised the oath in breaking the covenant. He hath put forth his hands against such as be at peace with him: he hath broken his covenant. The words of his mouth were smoother than butter, but war was in his heart: his words were softer than oil, yet were they drawn swords.

And both of these kings' hearts shall be to do mischief, and they shall speak lies at one table; but it shall not prosper: for yet the end shall be at the time appointed.  Seeing he despised the oath by breaking the covenant, when, lo, he had given his hand, and hath done all these things, he shall not escape. Therefore thus saith the Lord God; As I live, surely mine oath that he hath despised, and my covenant that he hath broken, even it will I recompense upon his own head.

Then shall he return into his land with great riches; and his heart shall be against the holy covenant; and he shall do exploits, and return to his own land.  For the ships of Chittim shall come against him: therefore he shall be grieved, and return, and have indignation against the holy covenant: so shall he do; he shall even return, and have intelligence with them that forsake the holy covenant.

They kept not the covenant of God, and refused to walk in his law; And forgat his works, and his wonders that he had shewed them.

As a roaring lion, and a ranging bear; so is a wicked ruler over the poor people. The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant.

Against whom do ye sport yourselves? against whom make ye a wide mouth, and draw out the tongue? are ye not children of transgression, a seed of falsehood. There shall be a bridle in the jaws of the people, causing them to err.  And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then ye shall be trodden down by it.

Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves. And in that day shall the deaf hear the words of the book, and the eyes of the blind shall see out of obscurity, and out of darkness. For the morning is to them even as the shadow of death: if one know them, they are in the terrors of the shadow of death.  This also cometh forth from the Lord of hosts, which is wonderful in counsel, and excellent in working.

For thou hast been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall. Thou shalt bring down the noise of strangers, as the heat in a dry place; even the heat with the shadow of a cloud: the branch of the terrible ones shall be brought low.

And the Lord shall cause his glorious voice to be heard, and shall shew the lighting down of his arm, with the indignation of his anger, and with the flame of a devouring fire, with scattering, and tempest, and hailstones.

And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see. And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.

There is no peace, saith the Lord, unto the wicked

And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men.

For every battle of the warrior is with confused noise, and garments rolled in blood; but this shall be with burning and fuel of fire.

And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk: Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.

And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.

And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke: The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and notable day of the Lord come.

And all the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll: and all their host shall fall down, as the leaf falleth off from the vine, and as a falling fig from the fig tree. For my sword shall be bathed in heaven: behold, it shall come down upon Idumea, and upon the people of my curse, to judgment.

And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall punish the host of the high ones that are on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth.

And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring. The earth mourneth and fadeth away, the world languisheth and fadeth away, the haughty people of the earth do languish. The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant.  Fear, and the pit, and the snare, are upon thee, O inhabitant of the earth. And it shall come to pass, that he who fleeth from the noise of the fear shall fall into the pit; and he that cometh up out of the midst of the pit shall be taken in the snare: for the windows from on high are open, and the foundations of the earth do shake. The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again.

Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them. But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by. Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.

For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.

Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of manFor we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.  And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads. And the Lord said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof.

And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.  These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb. And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God. And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God, Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.

And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.  Therefore thus saith the Lord of hosts, Behold, I will punish them: the young men shall die by the sword; their sons and their daughters shall die by famine.

Then said the Lord unto me, Pray not for this people for their good. When they fast, I will not hear their cry; and when they offer burnt offering and an oblation, I will not accept them: but I will consume them by the sword, and by the famine, and by the pestilence.

Then said I, Ah, Lord God! behold, the prophets say unto them, Ye shall not see the sword, neither shall ye have famine; but I will give you assured peace in this place. Then the Lord said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name: I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake unto them: they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, and a thing of nought, and the deceit of their heart.

Why, seeing times are not hidden from the Almighty, do they that know him not see his days?  Which make oil within their walls, and tread their winepresses, and suffer thirst.  He that loveth pleasure shall be a poor man: he that loveth wine and oil shall not be rich.

He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries: and the land of Egypt shall not escape.  But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt: and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps.

Why boastest thou thyself in mischief, O mighty man? the goodness of God endureth continually. The tongue deviseth mischiefs; like a sharp razor, working deceitfully. Thou lovest evil more than good; and lying rather than to speak righteousness. Selah. Thou lovest all devouring words, O thou deceitful tongue. God shall likewise destroy thee for ever, he shall take thee away, and pluck thee out of thy dwelling place, and root thee out of the land of the living. Selah.  And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people.  Set thou a wicked man over him: and let Satan stand at his right hand.

And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit. Dead things are formed from under the waters, and the inhabitants thereof. Hell is naked before him, and destruction hath no covering.  The flood breaketh out from the inhabitant; even the waters forgotten of the foot: they are dried up, they are gone away from men. There is a path which no fowl knoweth, and which the vulture's eye hath not seen: The lion's whelps have not trodden it, nor the fierce lion passed by it.  He bindeth the floods from overflowing; and the thing that is hid bringeth he forth to light.

And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit.  And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke. For wickedness burneth as the fire: it shall devour the briers and thorns, and shall kindle in the thickets of the forest, and they shall mount up like the lifting up of smoke.  Through the wrath of the Lord of hosts is the land darkened, and the people shall be as the fuel of the fire: no man shall spare his brother. But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the Lord shall be as the fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away.

And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.  And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man. And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.

And the shapes of the locusts were like unto horses prepared unto battle; and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men. And they had hair as the hair of women, and their teeth were as the teeth of lions. And they had breastplates, as it were breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle.

And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and their power was to hurt men five months.  By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths. For their power is in their mouth, and in their tails: for their tails were like unto serpents, and had heads, and with them they do hurt.

His strength shall be hungerbitten, and destruction shall be ready at his side. It shall devour the strength of his skin: even the firstborn of death shall devour his strength. His confidence shall be rooted out of his tabernacle, and it shall bring him to the king of terrors.

The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.

While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition.

But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil? From which Judas by transgression fell, that he might go to his own place

And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth. But wild beasts of the desert shall lie there; and their houses shall be full of doleful creatures; and owls shall dwell there, and satyrs shall dance there. And the wild beasts of the islands shall cry in their desolate houses, and dragons in their pleasant palaces: and her time is near to come, and her days shall not be prolonged.

Hell from beneath is moved for thee to meet thee at thy coming: it stirreth up the dead for thee, even all the chief ones of the earth; it hath raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations. The wild beasts of the desert shall also meet with the wild beasts of the island, and the satyr shall cry to his fellow; the screech owl also shall rest there, and find for herself a place of rest.

The burden of the beasts of the south: into the land of trouble and anguish.  And though they hide themselves in the top of Carmel, I will search and take them out thence; and though they be hid from my sight in the bottom of the sea, thence will I command the serpent, and he shall bite them: All ye beasts of the field, come to devour, yea, all ye beasts in the forest. So will I send upon you famine and evil beasts, and they shall bereave thee: and pestilence and blood shall pass through thee; and I will bring the sword upon thee. I the Lord have spoken it.

And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from themAnd the carcases of this people shall be meat for the fowls of the heaven, and for the beasts of the earth; and none shall fray them away.  And I will appoint over them four kinds, saith the Lord: the sword to slay, and the dogs to tear, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the earth, to devour and destroy.

And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. Out of his mouth go burning lamps, and sparks of fire leap out. Out of his nostrils goeth smoke, as out of a seething pot or caldron. His breath kindleth coals, and a flame goeth out of his mouth. His heart is as firm as a stone; yea, as hard as a piece of the nether millstone. Behold, the hope of him is in vain: shall not one be cast down even at the sight of him. None is so fierce that dare stir him up: who then is able to stand before me?

When he raiseth up himself, the mighty are afraid: by reason of breakings they purify themselves. The sword of him that layeth at him cannot hold: the spear, the dart, nor the habergeon. He esteemeth iron as straw, and brass as rotten wood. The arrow cannot make him flee: slingstones are turned with him into stubble. Darts are counted as stubble: he laugheth at the shaking of a spear.

Who can open the doors of his face? his teeth are terrible round about. His scales are his pride, shut up together as with a close seal. By his neesings a light doth shine, and his eyes are like the eyelids of the morning. He maketh the deep to boil like a pot: he maketh the sea like a pot of ointment. He maketh a path to shine after him; one would think the deep to be hoary. Upon earth there is not his like, who is made without fear. He beholdeth all high things: he is a king over all the children of pride.

Speak, and say, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I am against thee, Pharaoh king of Egypt, the great dragon that lieth in the midst of his rivers, which hath said, My river is mine own, and I have made it for myself. But I will put hooks in thy jaws, and I will cause the fish of thy rivers to stick unto thy scales, and I will bring thee up out of the midst of thy rivers, and all the fish of thy rivers shall stick unto thy scales. In that day the Lord with his sore and great and strong sword shall punish leviathan the piercing serpent, even leviathan that crooked serpent; and he shall slay the dragon that is in the sea. I will make thee a terror, and thou shalt be no more: though thou be sought for, yet shalt thou never be found again, saith the Lord God

And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

But I will shew thee that which is noted in the scripture of truth: and there is none that holdeth with me in these things, but Michael your princeLift ye up a banner upon the high mountain, exalt the voice unto them, shake the hand, that they may go into the gates of the nobles. I have commanded my sanctified ones, I have also called my mighty ones for mine anger, even them that rejoice in my highness. The noise of a multitude in the mountains, like as of a great people; a tumultuous noise of the kingdoms of nations gathered together: the Lord of hosts mustereth the host of the battle. They come from a far country, from the end of heaven, even the Lord, and the weapons of his indignation, to destroy the whole land. Howl ye; for the day of the Lord is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty.

And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. And when I shall put thee out, I will cover the heaven, and make the stars thereof dark; I will cover the sun with a cloud, and the moon shall not give her light. Thus saith the Lord God; In the day when he went down to the grave I caused a mourning: I covered the deep for him, and I restrained the floods thereof, and the great waters were stayed: and I caused Lebanon to mourn for him, and all the trees of the field fainted for him.  I made the nations to shake at the sound of his fall, when I cast him down to hell with them that descend into the pit: and all the trees of Eden, the choice and best of Lebanon, all that drink water, shall be comforted in the nether parts of the earth. They also went down into hell with him unto them that be slain with the sword; and they that were his arm, that dwelt under his shadow in the midst of the heathen. I will also water with thy blood the land wherein thou swimmest, even to the mountains; and the rivers shall be full of thee.

Daily Mental Warfare

Hear my words, O ye wise men; and give ear unto me, ye that have knowledge. For the ear trieth words, as the mouth tasteth meat. Let us choose to us judgment: let us know among ourselves what is good.

We are to love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, strength and Mind.  The mind is the mouth of the heart and soul, the mind tastes and swallows down things into the heart and soul.

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare (the words of God, the Spirit of God, prayer, meditation) are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.

Our thoughts must be brought into obedience to Christ Jesus Himself. Ask the Holy Spirit to purify your thoughts, guide your intents, and give you a Sound Mind. Gird up the loins of your mind, and be sober.

Thoughts are very powerful; thoughts are like seeds that grow into words and actions. As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he. The lost soul is always minding earthly things, that is all he can do. Who controls your mind and thoughts?  What do you think about when you are all alone?  Remember: You are, what you are, Alone. Your inward parts is where God wants to dwell and live, that is, in your mind, conscience, will, thoughts, desires, heart, and soul. Behold, Thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part Thou shalt make me to know wisdom. He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city. Gird up the loins of your mind, be sober.

How does a Stronghold begin in the mind?  First with a thought, then a desire, a look, a touch, a deed, then a habit, and finally a Stronghold. Sin begins with Presentation (through thought, sight or sound), Illumination (Conscience alerts and warns you), Debate (your will deliberates), Decision (Sin is allowed to enter, or Sin is rejected), and finally the Action. I made a covenant with mine eyes; why then should I think upon a maid?

The very thought of foolishness is Sin. The thought of evil, imaginations, lust (delight in viewing it), enticed (weakening of the will), yielding (lust is conceived), sin (act committed), death (the result of sin). Only through the power of the Holy Spirit can we pull down the devilish strongholds in our hearts and minds. Only the Holy Spirit can open the eyes of your blinded mind. Ask the Holy Spirit to control your mind every hour of the day. Be renewed in the spirit of your mind.

My thoughts lead to my words and actions. The natural man, the lost man's mind is at war with God and hostile towards the Holy Spirit and His ways. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled. Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient. Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee: because he trusteth in Thee. Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.

For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost; In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
And seek ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.  Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled

My friend, Beware of who and what you listen to, for words are like spells that can easily take over your thoughts and mind, bewitch you, and eventually damn you.  Evil thoughts are a slow poison to the soul. Bad thoughts (ill will, selfishness, resentment, envy, bitterness, lust, hatred, and the like) are like unclean birds flying through your mind, and the birds must fly through, but don't let them build their nests, hatch their young, and dwell inside your mind.

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. The world's system and its thoughts are trying to conform your mind, and lead you far away from God and His wisdom and peace. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus.  Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? but we have the mind of Christ. For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. We should be vigilant and sober minded, wide awake and aware of what is going on. Victory in your thought life must be fought for daily.

The Holy Spirit works and moves in a pure mind. But first of all, you must be born of the Spirit of God in order for your mind to be transformed and renewed. You are what you eat, and you are what you think. Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.  And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
Keep an open mind, but just like your windows, keep a screen over your mind (the words of God) to keep the world's bugs out. My mind, be on thy guard, for ten thousand foes arise, the hosts of sin are pressing hard to draw you from the skies. O watch and fight and pray, the battle never give o'er, Renew it boldly every day, and help divine implore.

Teach Me Thy Paths

For as many as are Led by the Spirit of God [not your church, cult, preacher, imam, or priest], they are the sons of God. Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in Thy presence is fulness of joy; at Thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore. Hold up my goings in Thy paths, that my footsteps slip not. He that walketh uprightly walketh surely. He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake. Shew me Thy ways, O LORD; Teach me Thy pathsAll the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth.  And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left. The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way. Order my steps in Thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.

Teach me Thy way, O LORD, and lead me in a plain path, because of mine enemies. There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another. The Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ. O that my ways were directed to keep Thy statutes! Whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered. Walk in newness of life. Let us walk honestly. For we walk by faith, not by sight. Walk as children of light..Let us walk in the light of the LORD...See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise.

A man's heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps. Order my steps in Thy word. Cause me to know the way wherein I should walk, for I lift up my soul unto Thee. I will guide thee with Mine eye. Thou shalt guide me with Thy counsel; and afterward receive me to glory. To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace. Walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God...As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him... Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.

My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.  Thy paths drop fatness. Make me to go in the path of Thy commandments; for therein do I delightThy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my pathThou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways. For Thy lovingkindness is before mine eyes: and I have walked in Thy truth. Then shalt thou understand righteousness, and judgment, and equity; yea, every good path

The goodness of God leadeth thee to Repentance. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Walk in the Spirit. No good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly. But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin. And this is love, that we walk after His commandments.

Whosoever will come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow His steps.  To deliver thee from the way of the evil man, from the man that speaketh froward things; Who leave the paths of uprightness, to walk in the ways of darkness;  Who rejoice to do evil, and delight in the frowardness of the wicked. That thou mayest walk in the way of good men, and keep the paths of the righteous. Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart. Live in the Spirit.

But if ye be Led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. In all thy ways acknowledge the LORD, and He shall direct thy paths. Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men. Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peaceI have taught thee in the way of wisdom; I have led thee in right pathsSee that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake. Walk after the Spirit. I will walk at Liberty: for I seek Thy precepts.

Thpath of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.  Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established.  In the way of righteousness is life: and in the pathway thereof there is no death. Teach me Thy way, O Lord; I will walk in Thy truth: unite my heart to fear Thy name.  Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find Rest for your souls.  Jesus saith unto him, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me. Follow the Lamb whithersoever He goeth.

Someone is leading you every hour of each day, who is it?

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

Wholesome Words

Be Kind to Your Mind: Think Purely. Have Mercy on Your Soul: Come Right Away to Christ Jesus for Shelter, Rest & Peace. Faith In His Blood, Worthy Is The Lamb.

Are you Alive unto God? Has your heart's pilot light (your spirit) been lit by the Holy Ghost?  Are you born again or just a skilled religious pretender?  Let the Lord Jesus Christ quicken your heart today.

We must place Precious Faith in the most Precious Blood of the Precious Lamb of God. I Peter 1:7; 1:19; 2:7.

Mind the Lord, Behave yourself wisely in His Sight, Remember the Lord, Remain Mindful of His Presence.

Ask the Holy Spirit to help you Perceive and Understand His will and way.

God's Sparing Mercies are needed every hour of the day.

There is no help in earth below, but Love found a way. II Corinthians 5:21

WORTHY IS THE LAMB, WHICH TAKETH AWAY THE SIN OF THE WORLD.

A wise man always prepares for the Inevitable - Here are the steps that we all eventually take into Eternity: Vitality, Infirmity, Frailty, Mortality, Reality, Eternity.

The Lord Jesus Christ, JEHOVAH manifest in the flesh, is the HOLY, meek & lowly Creator; He is good to all, very pitiful, gracious & merciful, slow to anger, & of great Kindness; He is full of Compassion, plenteous in Mercy and Truth, and abundant with marvelous lovingkindnesses.

STRIVE AGAINST SIN,
DEPART FROM INIQUITY,
KEEP THYSELF PURE,
FOR JESUS' SAKE.

You are either striving with your sins, or you are striving with your Maker. Woe unto the soul that striveth with his Maker.  They that strive with the LORD shall perish. Strive to enter in at the strait gate. Strive to preach the Gospel.

Who is like unto thee O Lord Jesus Christ, glorious in Holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders? Who is like unto thee, which deliverest the poor from him that is too strong for him? Who is a God like unto thee that pardoneth iniquity and delighteth in Mercy?

Be wise, don't waste your time on fools, and don't squander your years away with foolishness.

DISCERNMENT, DIRECTION, DETERMINATION.

SEEK THE LORD
AND HIS STRENGTH,
SEEK HIS FACE CONTINUALLY.
I CHRONICLES 16:11

REMEMBER THE LORD,
CARE ABOUT GOD,
GRIEVE NOT THE HOLY SPIRIT.

And this is the condemnation, that Light is come into the world, and men loved Darkness rather than Light, because their deeds were Evil. For every one that doeth Evil hateth the Light, neither cometh to the Light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

Meekness: Submission to whatever God Almighty's divine will wants us to do and yielding to whatever He allows to happen in our life without murmuring or griping.

Lowliness: a continual dependence upon God Himself, that is, His presence, mercy, comfort and strength.

Years I spent in vanity and pride, Caring not my Creator was crucified, Knowing not it was for my sins He bled & died on Calvary's Cross. By God's Law at last my Sin I learned, Then I trembled at the Bleeding Love I'd spurned, Then my lost, guilty soul turned to the Lamb of God.

The one chief thing we need each day is this: The Sparing Mercies of The Almighty.

And the Blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the Blood, I will *pass over* you, and the *plague* shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.

O the Love that drew Salvation's plan! O the Mercy & Grace that brought it down to sinful man! O the mighty gulf that God Almighty did span at Calvary's Cross, when God manifest in the flesh became Sin for us and suffered the dreadful penalty due to our sins. Worthy Is The Lamb!

Without The Lord Jesus Christ in your heart, without Him in your minutes and hours and days, your life is a wretched existence and nothing more than vanity and wasted time. Draw nigh to Him, and He will draw nigh to you, Grace will be with all souls that love Him in Sincerity.

If you want a Good heart, just ask The Lord Jesus Christ to give you one.

Good questions:  Are you trying to draw my attention to the Lord Jesus Christ Himself, or your religion or denomination?  Is your true motive and desire to persuade me to follow, draw closer, and become more like the Lamb of God, and not you?

Now mark it down:  The poor and needy Soul who trusts the Lord Jesus Christ wholly will find Him wholly true. Laus Deo!

Be kind to your mind: whatsoever things are *Pure*, think on these things (Christ Jesus Himself, His Precious Blood, God's tender heart, The Holy Spirit, the words of God). Keep thyself *Pure* for Jesus' sake.

We are all a direct result of our thoughts, desires and private habits, as well as the voices and words we yield our attention and will to, along with the choices we eventually make, and the actions we finally take.

Natural common sense is needed and good, but Divine Sense "Wisdom" is of greatest Importance and vitally Essential. Wisdom Determines Safe Direction and Good Success. You have nonsense, common sense, and divine sense (Wisdom from above). If any soul lacks wisdom from God, let them ask for more wisdom from their Creator who gives His Wisdom liberally to all who ask Him sincerely. Boast not thyself of tomorrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth. Proverbs 27:1

Be wise: Stop wasting time, every day is Precious, every moment matters - Trust your immortal soul with Christ Jesus at once, and follow Him closely every day, do justly in private, live honestly in public, and have empathy and sensitivity towards God's tender heart and feelings.

Ability and Stability are both gifts from God. Ask God to make you Able and Stable every day.

When you're at your wit's end, just be still, simply and sincerely ask your Merciful Maker to give you His light and wisdom:  as a little child would, pray and ask Him to reveal the Truth to you found in the Holy Scriptures of the Bible.

A smart man prepares for retirement, but a Wise man prepares for Eternity.

Sin Always Complicates Life.

Whenever we put the wrong things down our drains in our home, everything gets stopped up and backed up; likewise, when we let the wrong things be put into our mind, the pipes of our heart get clogged and things don't flow freely.  Ask the Holy Spirit to flush out and unclog your inward parts today.

This world's evil system is constantly trying to figure out subtle ways to take advantage of people through their vulnerabilities and weaknesses such as illness and addictions: alcohol, drugs, porn, gambling, shopping, prescription drugs, and medical bills and fees.

There are many spells going around in the world today; I am under the Gospell that comes from above.

The Path to Calmness and Peace
C - Celebrate Christ Jesus
A - Ask the Holy Spirit for Help Alway
L - Leave your Cares with God
M - Meditate on Pure things

It is Finished, Through His Blood, Worthy Is The Lamb, End of Story.

Do your soul a big favor:  Turn it over to The Lord Jesus Christ for His care and safekeeping.

Through Christ, Through His Blood, Through the Spirit, Through Grace, Through Faith, Through the Gospel, Through Jesus' Name, That's the Way.

What bothers you most? My sins, and others around me entering Eternity without Christ.

Holy Spirit, please help me understand what really matters - please give me real Repentance, genuine Faith, and old-fashioned common sense.

Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners. He loved me, and gave Himself for me. Faith in His Blood.  God manifest in the flesh shed His atoning blood for every one of us:  Jesus suffered for His enemies; Christ died for the ungodly. Does that fit your description?

If any of you lack Wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. *James 1:5*

Be Wise - Ask for help and wisdom from the LORD Jesus Christ.

You won't truly glory in Christ Jesus until the Holy Spirit has first killed your self-righteousness and cured you of glorying in yourself.

What are you going to lose - your sins or your soul?  You must lose something. Friend, it's one or the other.

You do what you do, because you are what you are. A man always does according to what he is. You think with your heart, not your head.

God's so good!  Where will ye leave your glory?  But God forbid that I should Glory save in the CROSS of our Lord Jesus Christ. Isaiah 10:4; Galatians 6:14

Take the integrity test from Job 31 - you'll never hear this chapter expounded from pulpits in America.

The Cross Alone, Only His Precious Blood, Worthy is The Lamb!

Do your best today to make someone Happy around you.

Think clean, Talk clean, Drink and Eat clean, Live clean; but most importantly, Trust to Christ's Blood alone and enter Eternity clean.

The Cross Alone. *Galatians 6:14*

There's nothing more important than how you make God feel every day.

What matters most is how you treat God today, and those folks right around ya.

For unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given: and the government shall be upon His shoulder.

Humble + Helpful + Thankful = Joyful

Don't just make a living, and forget to live for your Maker.

Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.

Where prayer is pure and fervent and in Jesus' name, God is present.

When times get rough, comfort from the Holy Spirit is most needful.

All things were made by The Lord Jesus Christ; and without Him was not anything made that was made. *John 1:3*

Help the helpless, Encourage the hopeless, and Pity the thankless.

And His name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace,

Do God (Christ Jesus) and your neighbor no harm.

But God forbid that I should glory, save in the Cross of our Lord Jesus Christ.

America Bless God, and then God will bless America.

Jesus loved me anyway.

Divine Aid and Comfort from the Holy Spirit is a daily need.

When reading The Holy Bible, ensure you're led by the Holy Spirit, sprinkled with the Blood, and two bits of common sense won't hurt.

Birds of a feather have to flock together - doves never eat with vultures.

Pray for the Wind to blow. *John 3:8*

Friends help us get through each day.

Humble + Helpful + Thankful = Joyful

Surely Goodness and Mercy shall follow me all the days of my life.
That's Who you want watching your back.

Cultivate gratitude.

Glory to God in the Highest - Worthy is The Lamb!

It's a great day to be - Alive unto God.

You can't buy Trust, Respect, and Real Hugs.

With Christ Jesus you'll have Good success, but without *Him*, you're getting nowhere fast.

There's nothing more important than how you make God feel everyday.

Praise be to The Lord Jesus Christ, to God our Savior, who daily bears our burdens.

Be an Ability, not a Liability; a Blessing, not a Burden.

Reality and Eternity will eventually catch up with us all.

You can't, but JESUS can.

A Friend is a Soul who sincerely cares about your overall well-being; and when you are struggling or burdened, a Friend will find some way to make life a little less difficult for you. He that hath friends must shew himself friendly.

Be smart and plan for Retirement, but be Wise and plan for Eternity as well.

All Glory be to God in the Highest, I'm Freely Saved by Faith in the Precious Blood of the Crucified and Risen Creator, God manifest in the flesh, The Lord Jesus Christ.

You need blood every day for physical life, and you need *Precious Blood* for Eternal Life. Go directly to the Cross of The Lord Jesus Christ for immediate Divine Help.

Everything needs Rest eventually, especially our Minds. We need to take time to Meditate each day, and give our Minds a break.

Whatever has your extreme devotion (time, money, thoughts, energy) is your God?

Be wise, plan ahead for Retirement and *Eternity*. You might not make it to Retirement, but you will surely make it to Eternity.

Some people love hugging trees, but I love hugging my King James Bible and the American flag.

I'm not on Death Row, I'm on *Life* Row. *John 10:10*

Jesus Freely and Eternally Pardoned my Guilty soul.

With Christ Jesus as your Guide, you'll have Good success, but without *Him*, you're getting nowhere fast.

Be Wise:  Love with Your Heart, Not with Your Eyes.

God will give you 1,440 minutes today to enjoy Life:  Take at least one of those minutes, and sincerely tell Him Thank You.

Thank You So Much Jesus For Your Goodness and Mercy! But Thanks be to God, which Giveth us *The Victory* through our Lord Jesus Christ. I Cor 15.57

I Love my life, because my Life is The Lord Jesus Christ. *John 14:6*

If you don't have the Lord Jesus Christ living in your heart today, you have the worst kind of heart trouble. Without Christ, You are in imminent eternal danger. Please take time today, yield, make an appointment with the *Heavenly Cardiologist*, and He'll freely give you a New Heart

The very best time to entrust your immortal soul with The Lord Jesus Christ Himself is always Right Now.

The Blessed Poverty -
The Poor in Spirit -
The Contrite Ones.

Only God knows the real you.

Childlike faith in the Precious Blood of The Lord Jesus Christ will get you Heaven bound.

When in doubt or fear, Always Remember The Eight Golden Words: *Faith In His Blood*, and *Worthy Is The Lamb*.

Whatever You *Desire*, and Whatever You *Delight* in Today, Will Determine Your *Peace* of Mind.

Big Hearts look out for everybody else but number one.

Without Jesus, this life is a miserable existence; but with Him, it's Joy Unspeakable and Full of Glory.

I'm just THE KING OF KINGS' helper, that's all.

If you wanna know the Truth, you have to go straight to the Source - His name is Christ Jesus, God manifest in the flesh. *John 14:6*

As Clear As Day

I am so Glad that God saves sinners like me.  A lost soul is like a very sick man, bedridden due to an illness, the deadly disease of sin is so far advanced in him that his soul is without strength to help itself.  No power remains in him, even to lift a finger, he can barely even open his eyes. No strength remains to rid himself of his deadly illness, and he doesn't even desire to be rid of his sickness. The soul that sinneth, it shall die eternally. The soul cannot save itself from the love of sin and darkness, and even if he could, insanely he chooses not to be healed. His whole head is sick and his whole heart is faint.

Like a man sinking slowly in quicksand, there is no way you can escape from sin in your own power.  Just as your body can only find Relief from a painful toothache at the dentist's office, your soul can only find Relief from the plague of Sin at the Cross. Human nature loves the evil which is slowly destroying the soul. This ailment is not physical or mental, but moral and spiritual. Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners who are guilty before their Creator.  The human ear has never heard a more cheering and saving truth than this:  Christ died for the ungodly, which are thoughtless about God, very vile, thoroughly wicked, and full of arrogant unbelief.

Christ Jesus, the Son of God, God over all, JEHOVAH manifest in the flesh, the Creator of heaven and Earth:  the Almighty out of Infinite Love stooped to become a human being and bled and died in your place to suffer the eternal punishment due to your sins.  In Him there was no sin, nor could there be, His mission and passion was to save the wicked from themselves. The Holy Spirit is the true destroyer of evil deep in the human heart, for He abhors iniquity.  The Lord Jesus Christ alone can redeem us from the penalty of our sins. His Atoning Sacrifice is the Miracle of Miracles we need so desperately.  Christ Jesus was sent on a divine errand with full credentials from the Father Himself. Christ died literally, He really bled to death, and laid down His life for us, gave up the ghost, and commended His spirit back to His Father.

This is an indisputably clear Truth -- Divine Justice was poured out on the Lamb of God for my soul's sake.  His death was most terrible, he was blameless, yet He died the death of a criminal between two thieves on Calvary.  He was condemned by a howling mob: malicious gazes, scornful glances and cruel jeering broke the Savior's heart as He died in agony.  Cruelly inventive taunts and blasphemies were hurled at Him as He breathed out His last few breaths. He hung on the Cross naked with bleeding wounds for your soul, enduring a devouring thirst and unspeakable torment in the hot sun.  The most deadly death He endured, for He bore our sins and the wrath of God in our place.  Is your naked soul presently covered with the merits of the blood of Christ? It will do you absolutely no good to go through a bunch of religious motiions if you have not been born again within through the power of the Holy Ghost and Blood of the Lamb of God.

Christ died for the ungodly: the ungodly are those souls that have no thoughts about God through their days or weeks, they don't bring God into their daily decisions, they are not mindful of God's presence, or even thankful to Him. The ungodly simply forget God and leave Him out of their life. They have no true love for God, His Son, or His words.  But Jesus still came to seek and save that which was lost.  If you neglect Jesus Christ, your condition will only develop into a deeper damnation. Your benighted soul needs the Light of the world; Your starving heart needs the Bread of Life. Every imagination of the thoughts of a man's heart is only evil continually. Only the Precious Blood of the Incarnate Creator can cleanse the heart reach deeper than the stain of human sin has gone.  That which sinful man could not do for himself, God has done perfectly, for the Blood Jesus Christ, God's Son, cleanseth us from all sin.

Here is your dreadful diagnosis:  Without God in this present evil world, having no hope, aliens and strangers wandering in the darkness, enemies in your heart to the Creator, dead in trespasses and sins, corrupt and prone to mischief, without Christ, utterly and hopelessly lost. Just like a shipwreck victim floating on a piece of wreckage in the dark sea with nothing to drink or eat; you must be rescued, or you are doomed.  Jesus died for you out of pure pity and selfless benevolence.  Our sins are repulsive to our holy Creator.  We are fallen, miserable wretches in His sight.  God saves us for Jesus' sake, according to His lovingkindness, tender mercies, and gentle pity, not due to admiration or merit on our part.

The Precious Blood is the only Medicine for our soul's diseases.  Sin has many variants and it is constantly mutating and spreading to souls everywhere.  Sin is no respecter of persons, for it seeks to kill and destroy everyone in its path. We cannot cope with our soul's sickness, we must dial 911, cry out for help, seek the divine aid of the Great Heavenly Physician, for He is our only Cure.  There was a dreadful Penalty that had to be paid for my sins, that I committed against God Himself. Only the Precious Blood can wash away the heinous stains of my sins.  His sinless death is the only Atonement for the guilty; His death is for those who by nature are Ungodly. Full free pardon is only for the guilty and ungodly.  Christ died for me, for I am really guilty and ungodly indeed.

Only the Precious Blood can cleanse your polluted inward nature. If you need a new heart and right spirit, the Gospel of Christ is for you.  Only the Holy Spirit can regenerate your soul from the death of sin.  The broom of the Law must first sweep our heart, and the candle of the commandments must search the dark corners of our soul and clearly reveal to us our sinfulness. Only after that will you seek the Savior's Help.  The Holy Spirit must show you your sick soul's blood work, and only then will you humble yourself and seek the Physician's aid.  He fills the hungry soul with good things, but the rich (self-righteous, smart alecks) He sends away empty.  While your soul remains in its natural state, undone and unconverted, you are in peril and great danger.  You are in such peril, that only the pierced scarred hands of the Lamb of God can rescue you.

Jesus, the Prince of Peace, bore the bloody sweat, the piercing crown of thorns, the nails and spear, the scorn and shame, Sin and Death itself.  Your soul presently has a solemn need and is in imminent peril without Christ.  You are currently under the wrath of God, you must surely die sooner or later, and then as surely as you live and breathe in this moment of time, you will be lost forever and be driven from the presence of God into an everlasting punishment.

Now understand: The Cross of Christ is the Danger sign for your soul here in time, for it warns you that God spared not His own Son, and He will not spare you.  Sure and sudden destruction awaits your soul in a Christless Eternity.  We all gradually make it into Eternity:  Vitality, Infirmity, Frailty, Mortality, Reality, and then Eternity!  Infinite agonies were suffered by Jesus to save you from Hell.  There is a battle raging very fiercely every day for your immortal soul.

Salvation is a dire necessity, for God spared not His own Son, but freely delivered Him up for us All.  O what a Miracle of Love was displayed at Calvary.  If you ever enter Heaven, it will be solely because the Incarnate Creator bled out His sinless life's blood for you, especially. Don't let another day go by and remain lost in your sins.

Your soul's sure and eternal Safety is only found in the Precious Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. He loves us, only because He loves us, not because we are any good.  His Heart is full of pity towards you today, He is not willing that any should perish in their sins. "Perish" means to die eternally. Your soul will either live or die eternally somewhere out in Eternity, that is your personal choice to make.  Believe in the Glorious Gospel of the Grace of God, trust to Christ's Precious Blood alone, Close at once with Christ Himself, really know and truly trust Him.

The qualification for admission to the Emergency Room at any hospital is to be severely sick or injured. Your perilous condition convinces the doctor to receive you at once. The fitting person for Charity is one who is helpless and in abject poverty.  Don't pretend to be righteous, or dream that you are better than others, for you are as full of badness as the ocean is full of salt. We have no grounds for boasting, or to say, "See how good I am everyone."

Never think lightly of your sins against God, don't dilly dally with your soul.  Utterly abhor the sins that caused great suffering to the Lamb of God.  A knife that is rusted over with bloody gore used by a murderer to kill your mother, or wife, or child would never be played with by you. You could not endure the sight of such a deadly weapon that was stained with the blood of your loved one.  However, your sins are the daggers that stab the Savior's heart.  Sin is an abomination to every soul who has been redeemed by the Lamb of God's Atoning Blood Sacrifice. Only Mercy melts hearts of stone.

Lord Jesus, please save me now, for I am ungodly.  Years and years I have spent in vanity and pride caring not that you were Crucified for me.  Cleave to the Saviour now as you would desperately cling to a life ring in the midst of a stormy sea.  Humbly ask Jesus to give you a new heart, new desires, new appetites that will please Him. Trust now in the mercies of God through the atoning bloody death of the Lord Jesus Christ.  The most heinous offense in God's sight is the rejection of the sacrifice of His dear Son.  The greatest Criminality under heaven is to reject and avoid the Lamb of God.

The Highest Love ever is that the Incarnate Creator in the person of Jesus Christ bled to death to save lost sinners, just like you, just like me. Human nature hates God so much that it will reject Christ even as He is dying to save them from dire depravity and desperate rebellion. Do not harden your heart against the merciful Savior; Do not reject Christ and call God a liar to His face. There is no better news than what you are reading, the message of infinity mercy from the third heaven delivered here just for you. For your own soul's sake, lay firm hold on Christ Jesus Himself and eternal life at once, this very moment.  Turn off your TV, Put down your cell phone, Focus your mind and heart on the Savior, Seek ye the Lord Jesus Christ while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near. For Jesus' Sake, Amen.

The DESIRE Of All Nations

Comfort ye, Comfort ye my people, saith your God.  Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem, and cry unto her, that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned: for she hath received of the Lord's hand double for all her sins.  The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.  Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain:  And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.

For thus saith the Lord of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land;  And I will shake all nations, and the Desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the Lord of hosts.

Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the Way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to His temple, even the Messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, He shall come, saith the Lord of hosts.  But who may abide the day of His coming? and who shall stand when He appeareth? For He is like a refiner's fire, and like fullers' soap:  And He shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and He shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the Lord an offering in righteousness.

Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call His name Immanuel.

O Zion, that bringest good tidings, get thee up into the high mountain; O Jerusalem, that bringest good tidings, lift up thy voice with strength; lift it up, be not afraid; say unto the cities of Judah, Behold your God!  Arise, shine; for thy Light is come, and the Glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.

For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and His Glory shall be seen upon thee.  And the Gentiles shall come to thy Light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising. The people that walked in darkness have seen a great Light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the Light shined.

For unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given: and the government shall be upon His shoulder: and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.  And, lo, the Angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.  And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.  For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.  And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: He is just, and having salvation; and He shall speak Peace unto the heathen: and His dominion shall be from sea even to sea, and from the river even to the ends of the earth.

Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped.  Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert.
He shall feed His flock like a shepherd: He shall gather the lambs with His arm, and carry them in His bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young.

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you Rest.  Take my yoke upon you, and learn of Me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find Rest unto your souls.  For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light.

Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

He is despised and rejected of men; a Man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from Him; He was despised, and we esteemed Him not. I gave my back to the smiters, and My cheeks to them that plucked off the hair: I hid not My face from shame and spitting.  Surely He hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem Him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.  But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed.  All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to His own way; and the Lord hath laid on Him the iniquity of us all.

All they that see Me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying, He trusted on the Lord that He would deliver him: let Him deliver Him, seeing He delighted in Him. Reproach hath broken My heart; and I am full of heaviness: and I looked for some to take pity, but there was none; and for comforters, but I found none. Is it nothing to you, all ye that pass by? behold, and see if there be any sorrow like unto My sorrow, which is done unto me, wherewith the Lord hath afflicted me in the day of His fierce anger. He was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was He stricken.

For thou wilt not leave My soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, He is the King of glory. Selah.

For unto which of the angels said He at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten Thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son? And again, when He bringeth in the first begotten into the world, He saith, And let all the angels of God worship him. Thou hast ascended on high, Thou hast led captivity captive: Thou hast received gifts for men; yea, for the rebellious also, that the Lord God might dwell among them.

The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it. And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!  But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world.

Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?  The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against His Anointed, saying,  Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision. Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; Thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.

And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying,

Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth.

And out of His mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it He should smite the nations: and He shall rule them with a rod of iron: and He treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And He hath on His vesture and on His thigh a name written, King Of Kings, And Lord Of Lords.

For I know that my Redeemer liveth, and that He shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:  And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God. But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.  For since by man came death, by Man came also the resurrection of the dead.  For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,  In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.  So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in Victory. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.  But thanks be to God, which giveth us the Victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?  Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.  Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.

And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy Blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation.

Even so, Come, Lord Jesus.

The Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.

Amen.

Glorying Only In The CROSS

God forbid that I should "glory" save in the Cross of our Lord Jesus Christ.  Galatians 6:14  The term "Cross" is a divine synonym for the Sinless Substitutionary Blood Atonement of the Lamb of God for human sin.  The doctrine of the Atonement is almost forgotten and scarcely mentioned in most churches today.  Christ Jesus came into world to save sinners from the wrath of God; He was once offered to bear the sins of the whole world; God hath set Jesus forth to be the Propitiation for our sins. When we were yet without strength, Christ died for the ungodly. Now once in the end of the world hath Jesus appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself. Behold the Lamb of God which taketh away the sin of the world.  Now understand - The Lamb of God Himself shed His own Precious Life's Blood to save my lost sinful soul.  Jesus the debt of my sins fully paid; He paid the Ransom for me.

Why did they nail Jesus of Nazareth, God manifest in the flesh, to Calvary's tree? The Answer: He was wounded for my transgressions and bruised for my iniquities; He was led to the slaughter at Calvary for me.  Christ Jesus is mighty to Save; He will heed the despairing sinner's cry, and attend unto the lost soul's prayer, and come with tender Compassion and save your soul immediately on the spot.

I always want to bring the Precious Blood to the forefront of your mind's thoughts and try to bring your full attention to the Lamb who bled and died on Calvary.  A full Atonement for human sins has been made, and the utmost Ransom has been paid in full. Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the Law, being made a Curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth upon a tree.  On Calvary's Cross, He was the Just dying for the unjust, that He might bring us to God.  The Innocent Lamb of God bore the crimes of the guilty, so we could be forgiven freely and be forever accepted in the Beloved. Fix your Faith in the Cross, for only Jesus can fix your broken soul. On the fair pages of the Holy Bible, the Gospel of the Grace of God that creates saving faith in the heart of the sinner can still be found.

Whosoever believeth in Jesus is justified from all sin, and in that moment, the sinner is forgiven, justified, and adopted. Salvation is not of your doings, or of your superstitious ceremonies, but simply and alone by an act of trusting to Jesus Himself, and relying on His finished Atonement for your sins. If your faith is not His most Precious Blood, you missed the mark altogether.

Men and women will always glory in something or brag about themselves.  Just like a bird that sings in the trees, a man sings about himself to his own shame.  Men will boast in something or other, because we are full of vain glory.  Men glory in the mere emptiness of themselves and in the things of this world.  Some glory in their physical strength or beauty, or in their gold, which is nothing more that refined clay.  Some men glory in their intellectual gifts and talents in which they have been entrusted.  The money entrusted to our stewardship we sometimes think these finances belong to ourselves, and we rob God of his glory.

The all-sufficient Atonement stirs up the carnal and religious mind to enmity against God. I believe in the Cross, the whole Cross, and Nothing but the Cross.  So called preachers today, hide the Atonement and conceal the Cross from hopeless sinners. Only the Blood of Jesus can do hopeless sinners good.

He that hath ears to hear, let him hear this:  He that glorieth, let him glory only in the person of the Lord Jesus Christ and His Cross.  My sins are all pardoned, my guilt is all gone, I'm saved by the Blood of the Crucified Creator.  A Great Price has paid my Pardon, God's own Precious Son.

To live to your own personal glory is a complete waste of your life. Please don't be foolish and perish glorying in earthly things.  Do not throw your soul away in the garbage heap of Eternity for this world's applause and men's praise.  Don't strive for satisfaction and success in this world's fleeting trifles.  Sin's one and only remedy is found in the five bleeding wounds Jesus received on Calvary. The Cross is all your soul needs for True Rest, Divine Security, Full Satisfaction, Perfect Peace and Joy Unspeakable.  Simply Gaze upon the Cross until your soul is fully healed.  The Atonement is the only Pillow where your weary head can rest. Wheat or chaff, Bread or husks, Medicine or poison, Home or desolate wilderness, it's your choice. Jesus stood in my place, bore my sins, and put my sins away forever.  He loved me, and gave Himself for me.

The focus of the world's mockery is always the Cross, but the very core and essence of Biblical Christianity is God's Incarnate's Precious Blood that was shed on Calvary's Cross. The Lord Jesus is the only real substitutionary sacrifice for human guilt and the vindication of divine justice; He is great Substitute that your guilty soul is looking for so desperately.  Only Jesus' blood has sin-removing power.  The filthiest and vilest sinners are always welcome at the Cross. Jesus' love was poured out at Calvary from His own heart's Blood.

Be wise now and understand, we do not glory in the Incarnation of Christ, even though the angels from heaven sang "Glory to God in the Highest" when Jesus was born in Bethlehem.  We do not glory in the Life of Christ, even though He lived a benevolent and sinless life.  We do not glory in the Resurrection of Christ, even though this is the only hope for a dying world. We do not glory in the Ascension of Christ, even though He victoriously led captivity captive and sat down on the right hand of God. We do not glory in the Second Advent of Christ, even though one day He will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and the trump of God, and take all of His saints to be with Him forever.  We do not glory in the Words of Christ, even though through these words we believe on The Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.  Our soul's free and eternal Salvation hinges and pivots solely upon the finished work of our Lord Jesus Christ upon the Cross.

"Cross" = The Sinless Substitutionary Blood Atonement of the Lamb of God for human sin.

Justified Through Faith in His Blood - Worthy is The Lamb!

Thank you Lord Jesus for Saving my soul,

Thank you Lord Jesus for making me Whole,

Thank you Lord Jesus for giving to me thy Great Salvation so Rich and Free.
