Christ Jesus, God Incarnate, through His own blood Atonement has offered a sure Satisfaction (Propitiation) to Almighty God for human guilt and sin.  God will only forgive human sin through childlike faith in the atoning Sacrifice of Jesus Christ Himself.  Atonement by Blood, Redemption by Substitution, and Justification by Imputed Righteousness is the Gospel message.  Christ taking the sinner's sin, and the sinner taking Christ's Righteousness. Human sin being put away by Christ being punished in the place of the ungodly sinner.  A sinner cannot add anything to Christ's finished, complete, perfect Atonement.  The vital message of the Gospel is the Ransom of a Savior's atoning blood.

Christ's innocent, sinless life and blood atoned for all my sins.  The troubled mind of the convinced sinner is led to hope for an Atonement.  God cannot pardon me without punishing my sins.  Christ paid my debts; He died for me.  He offered up Himself for me.  All my sins are forgiven for His name's sake.  The precious truth of Substitution, Christ dying instead of me.  Entrust your soul to Jesus Himself, and you'll be saved until Forever runs out, that's a long time.  The very central point of the Atonement is Christ's Precious Blood and Perfect Righteousness. The Atonement is the kernel of the Gospel.

You know you have sinned against God, your virtues cannot atone for your vices. If a soul sins but once, it must die forever, unless you have Someone to take away that sin. Human nature thinks it can be good enough to help save itself. Human nature ignorantly believes in part self-salvation and part Christ-salvation. Self-righteousness insults the Savior's Finished Work. The evil spirit of self-righteouseness kicks at the free gospel.  The carnal mind loves the praise of man, not the praise of God. God is infinitely just and holy, He is the Judge of all the earth, and He must punish every sin.  All the times you have been up to no good, God was watching and listening. You have had a mad career as a sinner in the sight of God. Confess your wrongdoing and guilt.  Get alone somewhere and make a detailed confession of your transgressions.  Be thoroughly earnest in seeking God for mercy through Christ's name and blood.  Cry to Jesus to rescue you from your sins. Call out to Jesus for mercy now.  Trust the Savior and His great grace.

The great flood of God Almighty's wrath was heading toward me, but Jesus stood in my place, and let it flow over Him, so I could be spared.  He suffered for me, and then put me into the place of acceptance with God, and saved me from the wrath to come. It was an absolute certainty that our sins must be punished, so Jesus took the just punishment of our evil deeds.  The moral and refined man must be saved the same way as the depraved and debauched (By Jesus' Blood and Grace).  Come to Jesus now by faith in His blood, and take the Water of Life freely.  Jesus took your sins upon Himself, and suffered sin's dread penalty. Confess your sins, and by faith lay them upon Jesus as your Sacrifice and Sin-Bearer, and you are born again.

What is Salvation?  Being saved by the grace of God from going down to Hell where you belong, being redeemed from the love to sin, being rescued from the punishment of sin, and being delivered from the power and bondage of sin.  Christ Jesus died for me, He suffered in my place, He took my sins and guilt upon Himself, and then bore all my sins' punishment.  The new birth and free salvation boggles the carnal self-righteous mind.  You must be born again, regenerated, and converted by the Holy Ghost Himself.  You need a real change of heart and life.  To neglect Christ is disastrous, and to reject Christ is fatal.  Will you leave your sins and go to Heaven, or keep your sins and go to Hell?  Flee the wrath to come, fly to the Cross (Christ's Atoning Work) for refuge. Impure thoughts are the sparks of sin, sinful deeds are the flame, and the inevitable consequences of sin is Hell Fire.

The sources of evil - neglecting the Bible, becoming lax in private prayer, growing more covetous, being tighter in fist, getting more worldly, speaking less about Christ and more about vanity, mixing with bad company, vile friends and associations, letting things go amiss on the job, falling out with someone and not forgiving them, becoming resentful and bitter, murmuring and disputing, and such like; these things will bring you into a lean state spiritually.  Secret sins will make you miserable and sorrowful. Secret sinful practices will ruin you in soul and body, in time and eternity. There is no worse crime that rejecting Christ.

The atheist will not come to Christ, mainly because he doesn't want to give up his sins and become pure and lowly.  The pure Gospel threatens the atheist's favorite sins.  The atheist refuses to be made true, good, and right in God's sight.  Evolution is a delusional lie that arrogant sin-loving people use as an excuse to reject Christ, so they can continue on in their darkness and sins.  The atheist desires to be his own god, and prefer his sins and to follow after their own devices.  The atheist's longs after some private evil, this is what keeps him from coming to Christ. The atheist thinks he can sin against God with impunity, but God will certainly punish all iniquity.  The chief goals of the atheist is the praise of man, to enjoy and lift up himself, and to damn his own soul. The atheist's chief aim in this life is to get money, make a name for himself, and to labor and scheme for more of this world's delusive dream.
