Only the Holy Ghost can convince a man that he is a lost sinner, and that he cannot help save himself.  Only the Holy Ghost can regenerate a sinner and give him eternal life.  Eternal things must come from the Eternal God Himself.  You are as bad as bad can be, you are what the Bible calls a sinner.  If you think you are good enough by nature, then you do not the need the Savior. Forgiveness is only needed by guilty men.  The Holy Ghost must give the sinner the repentance and faith he needs as well.  You must come to Jesus as a sinner, and nothing else.  Never try to plead any sort of goodness or qualifier with God, for you have none.  The carnal mind does like this fact.

If a heinous criminal is on death row in a condemned cell, and it is time for him to die, and a message comes to him that the governor has freely pardoned him, that man would be a fool to reject the governor's mercy.  The Gospel is the message of pardoning mercy from the Governor of the universe - Christ Jesus Himself, do not reject the Heavenly Pardon.

Jesus has done everything necessary to make it possible for a sinner to be saved freely. The guilty need free mercy first.  Go now to your knees, plead guilty before God, and then plead for Mercy through Christ's atoning blood.  Religionists try to prove their worthiness to God by their continual doings.  If you are not saved, you are lost. If you have not been freely forgiven by Christ, you are condemned already.  Unless Christ Himself saves and forgives you, you shall abide in condemnation forever and ever. Many men think and hope that Jesus Christ will help them save themselves, but that is only religious delusion.  Incline your ear unto Wisdom, apply your heart to Understanding.

Christ died for the ungodly, not good and dignified religious folks.  Jesus came to save the condemned enemies of God.  That's what you are on your very best day in your best Sunday go-to-meeting clothes.  Wake up, and take up your condemned position this very moment.  Accept God's grace which He freely offers to sinners through the finished work of His dear Son.  Self-righteous religionists always try to muddle the Gospel, so they can bring attention to themselves, and make a quick buck off misguided superstitious sinners.

Lead sinners to look to Christ alone for all their Salvation.  There's not one good thing within you that can help you escape divine justice.  All your hope lies in the Crucified Creator.  Give up all hope in your own doings, resolves, and goodness.  The hardest thing for any man to understand is that he cannot please God at all in his natural sinful state.  Your own evil nature can never help you, only destroy you.  Look away from yourself to Christ Jesus alone - this is the way of Bible Salvation.  Take the safest and wisest way - come directly to Jesus as a sinner, and bypass all this world's religious nonsense.  I am a sinner, and Jesus is the sinner's Savior; I trust my guilty soul into His hands.  I am a sinner, and I must be saved entirely through the free mercy of God in Christ Jesus, and I trust to Jesus to save me a sinner.

You are in a terrible fix today without Jesus Christ.  You are absolutely bankrupt spiritually.  You are now in nakedness, filthiness, and spiritual death, and in desperate need of the Savior's tender pity and mercy.  You are in debt over your head with God, and you cannot atone for even one of your sins with all your doings.  Only Jesus can give you a clear discharge of all your debts against God.  Needy penniless sinners look to Jesus for mercy, and their debt is freely forgiven.  As long as you understate your real condition, there will be no cure for your sinfulness.  Admit plainly that you are the worst, and then you are no longer deceived.

Never think that Christ came to save those who are doing their best, or as long as you do this or that.  For if you think that way, you are lost.  Lord Jesus, save me, for I have sinned. I am guilty Jesus, I accept your Mercy freely.  My complete trust is in Jesus, and my eternal salvation is secure in Him. It will be your safety to trust only to Jesus Himself.  This Gospel is true for it glorifies Christ, and give Him all the preeminence.

Christ did not come to save men who meet Him half way with their own doings.  Bible Salvation is not half from Christ, and half from man.  Confess now you have broken God's Law and deserve His eternal punishment.  Jesus' Salvation is for the guilty only.  God's free mercy will lead the saved soul to love, fear, and honor the LORD out of gratitude.  The saved soul strives to avoid sin by the grace and help of the Holy Spirit.  Save me, O God, from my hateful sins, for Jesus' sake.

God will meet you as a lost, guilty, and condemned sinner, have mercy on you, forgive all your sins, and receive you graciously through the person of Christ Jesus.  I am only a sinner saved by Precious Blood.  Right now, on the spot, confess your sinfulness to God. There is abundant evidence from your past that you are a sinner.  Confess that you are a sinner with your heart, not just with your mouth.  Real sinners are very rare things today.  Real Salvation is available 24/7 to real sinners.  Get down to business with Jesus as a sinner, and you will find Help.  Real sinners have broken God's Law and neglected His Son, and they know it, and they cannot say a word against divine justice, for they know they are guilty indeed.  Only Christ can prepare your soul to enter Eternity safely.  Rest right now on the finished Salvation provided to you in Christ Jesus.

The top and bottom, the beginning and end of all my Hope lies in this, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, and I trust myself as a sinner with Him.  Christ Jesus died for the ungodly, I am ungodly, so I just rest in Him.  There is no way to the forgiveness of sins except through faith in the shed blood of the Lamb of God. The sinner that comes to Jesus for mercy, He will in no wise cast out.  Bid farewell to all your self-trust and self-righteousness.  Cast your weary soul on Jesus now.

The Gospel takes away all false hopes, and makes you out to be the sinful nothing you really are, and then the Gospel points you directly to the Lamb of God for the free and full forgiveness of all your sins.  Christ Jesus must be first, midst, last, and everywhere for your Salvation. Jesus suffered in my place, the Just for the unjust, so He could bring me to God.  Sinner friend, will you have Christ today?  I will, whether you will or not.  Come along now to Jesus, take from Him what He freely gives to sinners - Eternal Life, Forgiveness of Sins, Everlasting Consolation, and Good Hope through Grace.
