No Trespassing!

As you drive down the road in the country, every once in a while, you will see a "No Trespassing" sign.  These signs are posted by landowners to warn people to stay off their property.  God's Ten Commandments are the spiritual "No Trespassing" signs that our Creator has posted to keep us safe and out of harm's way; and His Commandments are not grievous.

A trespass is an offense that injures another; trespass means to pass beyond, to cross a boundary line unlawfully; to intentionally violate any divine law or command; to intrude into a forbidden area, to go too far.  A trespass is any intentional violation of the moral Law.  Have you ever trespassed against God or man?  If so, you need a Savior, a Rescuer from the wrath to come on sin.

We have all committed felony trespassing in the sight of God.  The Bible calls us sinners, that is the same as calling us lawbreakers or criminals in the sight of God.  We're in trouble with the Law, that is, the Law of God.  If you violate a state or federal law, then the state or federal justice system will pursue you until you are convicted and pay for that crime.  When you violate divine Laws, then Divine Justice pursues you like a fugitive until you surrender to God at the Cross, where our trespasses are forgiven freely for Jesus' sake.

Until you surrender to the Lord Jesus Christ, you remain under divine condemnation and the curse of guilt, because the Laws of God have been broken by your soul.  Every sin you commit against God and man is immoral and illegal. *Matthew 6:14-15*  Until you have been Born Again, you remain dead in your trespasses and sins.  *Ephesians 2:1*  All of your trespasses must be forgiven, and forgiveness is not done by piecemeal; forgiveness is done all at once. *Colossians 2:13* Jesus laid down His own life and shed His atoning blood to pay for and forgive your trespasses against God. *II Corinthians 5:19*

You are a sinner (criminal, crook, culprit) in the sight of God. Your life is like a crooked piece of wire, and only God can straighten you out.  Your trespasses have directly attacked and offended the person of God; they have disrespected God, and crossed the moral line He has established, and you deserve to be punished.  When you begin to ponder sin in your heart, you are already guilty of sin.  Now understand - even the thought of foolishness is sin. *Proverbs 24:9* It is not just our outward actions that God sees and judges, but it is our inward thoughts and intents; again, God judges what goes on inside of your heart and mind. *Matthew 5:28* Most of all, your soul needs the Lord Jesus Christ Himself.

A man will always tell you what he hasn't done, but never what he wanted to do.  You have crossed the Line. *Ezra 9:15* You cannot defend yourself before God, and you cannot plead ignorance of the divine commands.  The sign says, "No Trespassing", but you walk right by it.  You saw the "No Trespassing" sign, but you intentionally climbed over the fence, and neglected the clear warnings of Scripture.  Human nature takes no notice of what God says.  The lost man goeth on still in his trespasses. *Psalm 68:21*  The carnal mind does not want God to interrupt its love for sin or put it any moral demands upon it.

Please don't toy with God, and don't trifle with your soul.  If you are still unconverted, you are currently under the pending consequences of your trespasses.  God says this to you:  "My Son bore your sins and died on the Cross to pay for them.  I punished Him, so you don't have to be punished.  Be wise - humble yourself and trust to His Blood and Righteousness, and then I will count His perfect life for yours, and I will count His payment for your payment.  But if you refuse and reject Him, I will do to you everything that I did to my Son on the Cross forever."

Do you argue for those things and philosophies that are in opposition to the Bible and the Gospel?  What's important to you?  What are you wrapped up in?  What controls your thoughts and impulses, and directs your steps from day to day?  What do you desire to do in secret?  Will you surrender to Jesus and let have rule over your heart and life?  When you are confronted with Christ Jesus Himself, what is your reaction?  What do you base your choices on?  Does the thought of giving up your favorite sins agitate you?  How interested are you in the Precious Blood of God manifest in the flesh?

This is your only offer of escape from your guilt.  Religion will never tell you this.  This is God's eternal Ultimatum to you.  Nothing else is on the table.  You must take the Lord Jesus Christ's Precious Blood as your Payment (Ransom) for your trespasses, or you'll have to pay for them yourself for all Eternity in the Lake of Fire.  The plain understandable Gospel is just too easy, too ABC, for self-righteous folks.  That's it; take it or leave it.  God won't choose you over His own Son.  But the carnal mind stubbornly says, "Well, I just think; well, the way I see it."
