The Main Matter

Beware of that sin which you deliberately commit. Sin always ruins those who practice and love it. Beware that ye forget not God. Sin is a present certainty, it is a deadly reality, it exists in your thoughts, words, and actions - just ask a Judge or your mother or your wife, they'll tell you. The world makes Sin look beautiful and attractive, but it leaves you with bitter memories and an aching heart. Sin says it will answer and fulfill all your longings, cravings, and dreams, but it only dooms and damns you at the last. A little sin will never stay little. Sin deceives every man. Sin always complicates life. Sin always leaves you worse than it found you. Sin seduces you into thinking that what it is leading you into will satisfy you. Every atheist is hardened daily by the deceitfulness of sin. Imams, iftar dinners, ramadan, allah, the qur'an, the hadith, sharia law, 'aqueeda, and muhammad ibn abd allah only lead miserable sinners right off into the Lake of Fire.

Turning from sin is the main matter. Sin says you have plenty of time to repent. Sins says, you will be able to justify what you are doing - you can escape the consequences of your sin.   Sin promises pleasure, but it brings misery. Sin promises temporal profit, but it brings eternal loss. You think you can quit or repent of your favorite sin at your own will, but you can't. Sin makes you weak, a failure, and guilty. Sin promises satisfaction, but it brings unrest. Sin says your particular sin is not that bad. Sin promises freedom, but it only enslaves and brings death. Sin appears fair, but is vile; it appears pleasant, but is destructive; it promises much, but delivers nothing. 

Sin promises you popularity, but it brings loneliness and separation. Sin will tell you that you're different, and that the sin you are indulging in won't harm you. Others will fall but you won't, you know when to quit. The end of a life of sin is eternal torment in the Lake of Fire forever and ever. Just now simply believing on the Lord Jesus Christ is the main matter. Submission to the Gospel, Pleading Christ's Blood, and praying directly to Jesus Christ for mercy is the main matter. 

You have one soul, one body, and only one life - trust them all into the hands of Jesus Christ. Enthrone God in your life, seek to do His will first by trusting His Son with your sinful soul. You can only be reconciled to God by faith in the death and blood of His Son. From the heart believe that Jesus IS the Son of God, and that He died upon the Cross for sinners like you, believe that He can and will save you, trust Him to save you now.

It's not your attainments, it's Christ's Atonement. It's not your merits, it's Christ's Precious Blood.  It's not your tainted works, it's Christ's finished sinless work. It's not your trying, it's trusting Christ Himself. Without Christ's protection, you will have to endure the wrath of God and be separated from the love of God for all Eternity. Evolution is make believe and phony. Man loves the ways and wages of sin. Many today have an educated head and an empty heart. Every man by nature is born in sin and a child of the devil, and if you're not Born Again, you'll have to go to hell with your daddy the devil (John 8:44). 

 The main matter is simple faith in finished work of Jesus Christ - God manifest in the flesh. Sin will make you a miserable flop and leave you defeated and doomed. The accusations of your conscience haunt you every day. Depend on Christ for all things, and on Self for nothing. The Holy Ghost shows to you the rottenness and emptiness of sin. Trusting Christ Jesus' Precious Blood alone - this is the main matter. Atheists trust self, Christians deny self. Atheists trust Darwin, Christians trust Christ Himself. The only object of true faith is Jesus Christ Himself.

The one thing, the main thing, the only thing is that you cleave to Jesus Christ through thick and thin, through foul and fair, up hill and down hill, in the night and in the day, in life and in death, in time and in eternity; that you do steadfastly believe that Jesus of Nazareth who died upon Calvary's Cross is the Messiah of God (God manifest in the flesh), the Son of God, and that He was sent to cleanse away iniquity and bring perfect Righteousness to unrighteous men. All your hope and trust must be fixed in Him. Get to your knees, beg hard of Jesus, seek Him with the whole heart. Lean all your soul's weight on Christ now. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved. To believe is to trust and simply rely on Jesus Himself, His shed blood and perfect righteousness. When you believe on HIM, you are saved forever.

When No One Is Watching

Your "heart" is what you really are when no one is watching. Out of the heart comes every sin against God. The idol of 'evolution' was manufactured down in the heart of darwin. And now millions of atheists worship that idol. The atheist wants his own way and his own will. The true condition of the human heart is reflected in the Scriptures, that is why the sin-loving atheist hates the Bible. The atheist is self-promoting (arrogancy, self-centered ambition, envious, suspicious, malicious), self-deceived (lies against the truth, don't tell me the truth about myself), and short-sighted (worldly, earthly, the nasty now and now). The atheist's life is full of scheming and he is focused on his things and stuff (neighborhood, job titles, cars, designer labels, degrees).

The atheist's bitter rival is The Lord Jesus Christ, not Christians. The atheist says, "I didn't get a fair shake, I should have been chosen for that, I deserve better than this, I am better than them." The atheist tries to explain away the Bible and shut the thoughts of God out of his mind. The atheist refuses to retain the person of Jesus Christ in his knowledge. Christ is The Wisdom of God. The atheist abandons, rejects, and ignores the wisdom of God. The atheist says, "Exalt yourself, justify your sins, neglect Christ, reject the Cross, trust in yourself." The wisdom of this world shuts out God, never looks up, horizontal living-never vertical, who cares, God who?. The world has wisdom, and the devils have faith. But God is not the origin of worldly wisdom or the object of worldly faith. The wisdom of the majority is never the wisdom of God. The tide of Eternity will soon wash the sand castle of evolution away. There is a way which seems wise unto a man, but the end thereof is the way of death.

You are, what you are, alone. Reputation is what you are in public in the sight of man, character is what you are in private in the sight of God. The answer to your sin problem is not within you. The atheist knows there is something beyond this life, but he quells his conscience. Only the blood of the Crucified Creator can atone for and take away your sins, and secure eternal salvation and give everlasting life to you freely. The preaching of the Cross is to them that perish foolishness. Christ Jesus was crucified to pay for your sins and satisfy the wrath of God due to your sins. The modern Christ, the moral man, the good example, the great teacher, the positive thinker, the compassionate helper of the 21st century church cannot save a lost sinner. Economics, family counseling, social issues, and humanitarianism is not the answer for lost souls. The rebel sinner tries to hold God accountable, but God, the Judge (Acts 17:31), will soon hold him accountable. Readjust your thinking and living to the Bible's thoughts. Self-sufficiency and spiritual blindness is the end of neglecting Christ.

Modern, clever, polished falsehoods damn the soul. Sin causes a man to lie, blame others, fear, and be confused and ashamed. Confusion and corruption is the end of worldly wisdom. Sin becomes more and more acceptable when the Truth and Wisdom of God is forgotten. There is hope, there is hope, Christ died for sinners. Video games, fornication, violence, terrorism, crime, and STDs are the results of a God-forgotten society. 145 people died from the H1N1 virus - that put the world into a panic. But syphilis will infect 12 million people, chlamydia will infect 90 million people, and gonorrhea will infect 30 million people this year - but the world doesn't say a word. There is no excitement or warning against this sinful activity.

The world says BE SAFE when you sin; but the GOSPEL says come on to Christ (Matthew 11:28) and BE SAVED from your love of sin (Romans 6:6-7). The atheist grows more confused and corrupt every day he lives without Christ. The Blueprint to life eternal is the Bible, the Master Builder is Christ Jesus. If you try to build your own life, it will end up collapsing on you at Death. Be wise now, say 'YES' to Christ Jesus, be ye reconciled to God through faith in the shed Blood of Jesus Christ. Trust the Gospel, Christ died for your sins, He was buried, and rose again from the dead the third day. Receive Christ Himself into your heart - the core of who you really are. The tide of Death will soon sweep over your life, ensure you are prepared to meet your Creator who died for you. There is hope, there is hope, Christ died for sinners.

Proclaiming The Cross!

Always Remember - No sinner can ever deserve anything but Hell, including you. All sinners are out-and-out rebels against God, they are presently under the wrath and judgment of God, and lost in the darkness of unbelief. Sin only leads to delusion, hopelessness, despair, and perversion. Christ crucified bore your sin and curse, and He is the only acceptable Savior from the wrath of God (John 3:36). Every human religion of good works and moral potential is nothing but a false confidence which leads men down to Hell where they belong.

Sinners simply refuse to surrender to the Son of God. By nature, man within is dead and lost and totally unable to do anything about it. The devilish snare of *human pride* will finish off every sinner in the end. Sin is so horrible and hateful that it took the death of God's own Son to put it away. God the Father forsook His Son in the darkness on Golgotha's hill, because all human sin was laid on Jesus on Calvary's Cross.

You are now dead in your trespasses and sins, and your soul is perishing without the living Savior. In Hell, you will lose your soul, and all the good things you have had here on earth, all sense of your loved one's presence and love, all your spiritual, physical, and mental well-being, all enjoyment of created things, all carnal ease and friendships will be taken from you, and in their place will be nothing but loneliness, pain, horror of spiritual darkness, and an Eternity of agony in the Lake of Fire.

 You are currently playing fast and loose with Sin, and you will soon wake up in Hell without the Savior who died for you. The New Birth (John 3:7; I Peter 1:23) is absolutely necessary for your salvation. Jesus died to rescue ruined sinners from the judgment to come. Human effort and potential is good for nothing. Stop living as if your salvation depends upon you. Jesus loves sinners, ONLY because He loved us so. Jesus doesn't love us because of anything good in us, but today He loves us, because He has done so much for us. The people you love the most are the ones you have done and sacrificed the most for.

Bearing your shame, and scoffing rude, in your place condemned Christ stood, He sealed your free pardon with His most Precious Blood. The *CROSS* is the sinner's only Confidence before a holy God. Christ substituted Himself upon the Cross especially for your sins. Jesus took the death you should die - and now He is mighty to save. Because the sinless Savior died, your sinful soul can be counted free, for the just God is satisfied to look on Christ's Blood and freely pardon you. O vain man, be wise!!! Trust only to Christ's Blood and Mercy. Cry out from your heart today, "God be merciful to ME a sinner!"

To preach salvation by good works is to flatter people and so avoid opposition. To preach salvation by grace through faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ is to offend people and so invite opposition. All human beings are the enemies of God, under His just judgment, and if they are left to themselves they will remain hopelessly lost in sin. And Christ crucified who bore their sins and curse and wrath is the only available Savior. Earthly religion always emphasizes human potential and human ability with Christ mixed into the message only to boost and inspire religionists to greater human endeavor and betterment. The former is the way to be faithful, and the latter is the way to be popular. It is impossible to be faithful to the message of the Cross and be popular simultaneously. We mustFlee to the Cross, Follow the Lamb, Fight the good fight. You can only be helped when you are humbled.

Nowadays men care very little about their soul. All men have real *sin trouble* and the only Person that help any sinner with sin is God Himself who was manifest in the flesh - Jesus Christ the Righteous. Some troubles in this life your mother can help you with, or your principal or teacher, or the police or a doctor, but when you have *sin trouble*, you have real trouble that only GOD can help you with. Sin trouble is a spiritual type of thing, no doctor, or pill, or program can help you with your inward sin problem. 

No lawyer, or preacher can help you either, you're going to have to get help directly from your Crucified and Risen Maker. You must go to straight to Jesus Christ, or your sins will drag right into the pit of hell when you die. Your greatest necessity is a personal Savior from your own personal sins. Old sinful habits die hard, if you don't take them to the Savior, they will doom you. The world's system wants to erase the thoughts of the God of Bible from your mind and life. Sin is repulsive, and men love it. Men fear everything but sin.

A man's own iniquities will eventually enslave and control him, and he shall be holden with the cords of his sins. The Blood of God that flowed from Christ's veins is the only antidote for your sin problem. The blood of Jesus Christ God's Son cleanseth us from All Sin. *I John 1:7* Sin is like a python that slowly wraps around you and constricts your mind, squeezing the life right out of you. Sin always complicates life. One night of sin, can put you in a wheelchair for rest of your life; two nights of sin, might make you bed-ridden and put you in hell. If you love sin and hate Jesus Christ, you love death. Human nature does not find sin repulsive, men drink down iniquity like water. But the wages of sin is still death. You have ignored, slighted, and cussed Jesus Christ all your life for no good reason.

Fools make a mock at sin. You don't think that your sin is going to get a hold of you, and then one day you find you are bound by it. What you think you have under control, will soon control you. And then you'll wake up some day, and say to yourself, "I'm tired of this, I'm tired of my lack of self-control, I'm sick and tired of my selfish sinful nature dictating to me, I want to regain control of myself, I want to rid myself of these old shackles, I'm going to get loose, I'm tired of this misery and brokenness", and then you'll groan and struggle in your own self-will, and your sin will take you down even deeper. You'll want to get loose from your sinfulness, but only Jesus Christ and set you free. Jesus said, "He that committeth sin, is the servant of sin." *John 8:34* Mark it down - Without Jesus Christ, you will remain a slave to your sin. If you have trouble with sin, no one can help you but God, that is, Jesus Christ. *John 1:27*

You say, "Well, I know when to quit. Well, a little bit won't hurt. Everybody does it these days." Yeah, but after a while, it won't be a little, it's going to be a lot. And a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump, and a little sin won't stay little. You can't quit your sin, and your sin will soon get you. Like a vehicle, you are gaining speed in your sin, and you're going to want to stop one day, but you will crash and burn trying to stop. Your Sin affects you and those around you. Christ died for the ungodly; He came not to call the righteous, but Sinners to Repentance. Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners. *I Timothy 1:15*

Today, the word *SIN* is not found anywhere in any textbook from K5 through college. But the first thing they give you when you get to prison is the Holy Bible. The State is pretty hypocritical: they keep the Bibles out of public school, but put them in the jail cells. And you can be sure, *your sin* will find you out. Beware - If you keep playing with sin and messing around, your sin is going to fix you for good. Sin trouble will soon bring you low; it's just a matter of time. Sin will soon strike you with its deadly bite. But remember - Christ Jesus, God in human form, came into this world and died for your sins - He is risen from the dead and alive forever more. 

Only the two-edged sword of the word of God can take head off of that deadly serpent within you called Ssssssin. Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Plead the Blood of Jesus and the mercy of God right now. Real salvation will give you a holy fear and hatred for sin. Beware of sin just like you would beware of a king cobra or black mamba. Jesus Christ is seeking you and He is out for one thing - to save your soul - He created you, He died for you, and He doesn't want you to perish. You take Him, He'll take you. Give your soul over to Jesus Christ now, or you will lose it.

* 5:45 am - Hijackers Mohamed Atta and Abdulaziz al-Omari pass through airport security in Portland, ME (Portland International Airport). These hijackers flew from Portland, ME to Boston, MA on Colgan Air Flight 5930, and then boarded American Airlines Flight 11.

* 6:18 am – President George W. Bush goes for a four-mile morning jog in Sarasota, FL.

* 7:49 am - American Airlines Flight 11 departs Boston Logan Int'l Airport.

The Cross

The "CROSS" is the short term in the New Testament Scriptures for the "substitutionary suffering" and "vicarious Blood Atonement" of God manifest in the flesh, Jesus Christ. Draw near to the Crucified God, plead His Blood. Every sinner must be saved by Faith in God's Blood. Your sin is the root of all your problems. Sin poisons your soul every day; your sins will destroy you if you die in them. Sin cannot be freely pardoned without a Blood Atonement. Your soul will never have a moment's peace until you simply trust Christ's substitutionary bloody death. Give up your sins, or you will lose your soul in the Lake of Fire. Turn your heart's eye to the Cross. Never trust yourself. Let all your hope be fixed on Christ's Blood. Play it safe - Put your soul in Christ's care now. Leave all your soul's daily concerns and eternal interests in Christ's hands. Your main business is to trust your soul on the fact that Christ died for sinners like you, and is now risen from the dead. If you can point to any good thing in you, you are a lost man. Give a true faith look to Jesus who died upon the Cross as the sinner's Substitute. Look away from all other confidences, and rely only upon the sufferings and bloody death of the Incarnate God.

Christ Jesus has finished the Atonement. He paid the full Ransom price to set sinners free from their sins. He has completed the Redemption with His own blood. Christ's Blood Atonement for ungodly sinners is the Backbone of Biblical Christianity. The Substitutionary Cross Work of Christ is the foundation of true Theology. Meditate upon Jesus' sufferings, think much of His Redemption by Blood.  The free forgiveness of human sin is only through simple faith in Jesus' Precious Blood. Without the shedding of blood there is no remission of human sin. Jesus laid down His life and poured out His own blood for your sinfulness. Only the Holy Ghost can give you a sense of your sinfulness and need of the Savior. The forgiveness of sin can be enjoyed by any sinner who looks away from himself to Jesus' five bleeding wounds. God laid your sins upon Him, and treated Him as the guilty one, and let the Just die for the unjust, so you could be freely saved by His rich grace and precious blood.

Faith is a renouncing of self, and a trust in Christ, dependence and simple reliance upon Jesus Himself. Faith is a heart belief that Jesus is the Savior of the entire world, and that He is the Atonement for human sin. Faith is a heart-trusting in the Finished Cross-Work of Jesus Christ to save you from the love of sin. You cannot trust yourself and trust Christ too. The worldly religions will always teach you to rely upon yourself in part and upon Christ in part, but Christ will never be a part Savior. It must be ALL, or nothing with Christ. As long as you cling to any of your works, you are in utmost danger. Trust your soul to Christ now, and you are safe. The Gospel invitation is to all sinners who thirst for forgiveness and freedom from sin. No sin against God can be pardoned without the Propitiation through Christ's Precious Blood. Fix all your trust upon Christ's atoning blood. Place your entire trust in the person and name of Christ.

The lost Christ-rejecting sinner crucifies the Son of God afresh every day. The Victim is Jesus Christ, the hammer is their hard heart, and the nails are their dirty rotten sins. Behold the Lamb of God which taketh away the sin of the world. They've turn Jesus down before, and if they continue to love their sins, they'll turn Him down again. Jesus saved others, Himself He could not save. Jesus, the King of Glory, became sinful man's Substitute and made a perfect and full Atonement for human guilt. Redemption by Blood is the only way of Salvation.

Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners. There is none other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved from the love of sin. There is no remission of sins without the shedding of God's blood. Full and free salvation is only found in the wounds of Jesus Christ. God had to become a man, because it was man that committed sin, and it was a man who must make an atonement for sin to the injured law of God. Fallen man was the offender, and the Offended One had to become a man to save the offender.

As in one man (Adam), the whole human race died in sin, and in another man (Christ Jesus) the human race must be saved and made alive. Dwell on this truth, let it sink into your mind and heart. Jesus stooped from the highest throne in glory down to the manger of Bethlehem. Jesus came voluntarily to save sinners. The Creator, the King of kings, the mighty God, the Great JEHOVAH voluntarily, cheerfully descended so that He could bear your sins, and yield Himself as a bloody Sacrifice for your sins. Jesus was the innocent Victim of your guilt and the divine Vengeance your sins deserve. Jesus became a substitutionary Sacrifice for ungodly guilty sinners, especially you. He came to this earth to give His soul and body as a Ransom for sinners, He gave His very self for you. He came here on purpose to lay down His life for you. Fix your thoughts on His five bleeding wounds. Jesus is the Savior of the world; He is the Atonement for human sin. Trust the Lord Jesus Christ, the Crucified Creator, with your soul.

Lend Me Your Ear

The root principle of human nature (practical atheism) is Me first, and you last - dog eat dog. The first of law of human nature is self-preservation. What every man or woman really wants is Someone who would love them enough to die in their place. Every woman wants a man who will die to provide for or protect her. All that every man dying in a hospital tonight wants is a few more weeks or years of physical LIFE on this sinful earth. God knows what you need, and He was willing to pay the price for all your sins in the person of Jesus of Nazareth. Your sins murdered Jesus Christ; He cried out from the Cross, "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do!" Your Creator understands your Need (the forgiveness of sins), and He laid down His life for you so you could be forgiven Freely. Jesus couldn't save Himself, and save others too. If Jesus saved Himself, He couldn't save me. Jesus took the punishment that I ought to have paid in Hell. Human reason can't figure out what happened at Calvary (an innocent man left all alone to die for His enemies).

A loving God let an innocent man die for His enemies on Calvary's Cross, so bad people like us could be saved from the love of sin and the wrath of God. God could have stopped Calvary, but He didn't. Many things that are reasonable to the carnal mind are not true at all. The carnal mind thinks that there are some people that are too bad to go to Heaven, and some people that too good to go to Hell. Man's carnal reasoning just doesn't work at Calvary. Human reason thinks, "If I follow my conscience and religion, I'll be all right, and surely God wouldn't let those people that have never heard the Gospel and trusted Jesus Christ go to Hell." Carnal man tries to pay for his own sins by doing penance, and doing self-righteous works to make amends for his past evil. Modern man says, "I will work at it objectively, and think about it rationally, and I will reach the wrong conclusion."

Inside of every problem, there are ten little problems struggling to get out. The darkest hour is not just before dawn, it is just before pitch blackness. Face it - God knows something you don't know.Experience won't solve all your problems either. Men cannot bring peace on earth, because they have no peace within their hearts. Men don't learn from suffering. Suffering can't solve the problem of human nature. Pain sometimes magnifies Self. The main reason any man goes to Hell is Self. Your mind is always stuck on your Self. The carnal mind says, "I'm right, and God is wrong." Many times suffering leads to blasphemy. The lost thief on the cross blasphemed Christ till the minute he died. Every unsaved man in his sins is separated from God right now. If you had to face God for everything you've thought, said, and done in just the last 24 hours, you'd go to Hell like a bullet. Lost people are always trying to convince you that you're good, because they want to believe they are good enough to face God, without Jesus Christ.

God says to every sinner, "Here friend, if you want a free ticket to Heaven, my Son bled and died for you, your sin debt is all paid for, now you can be freely forgiven on the spot by simply trusting what My Son did for you. All you have to do is just take it Freely, you can't earn it." Self-righteous proud man says, "I don't want it." God says, "Why not?" The man says, "I don't like you, I love my way, my sin, and my pride, If I trust your Son, it might cost me a buck or my reputation." God says, "I have shown my true interest and love for you, I laid down My life for you on Cross, and took the punishment due to your sins in your place, just take this Free Gift that I've earned for you." The man says, "That's OK, I'll do it myself." God says, "OK then, you'll have to burn forever, and your damnation will be just."

When a man rejects Christ, he doesn't sin against a preacher or a church. Remember, God's Son died for you. Your Crucified Creator has a bone to pick with you. Human nature says, "Exercise your will, and be responsible for your own actions." But you must face the real issue. The real issue is Self-Righteousness. If you die in your sins without Jesus Christ, you'll receive the due reward for your deeds. You'll get what's coming to you. If a man is drowning, he doesn't make terms, he grabs whatever is thrown at him. A man that is drowning will grab at anything that floats by. He doesn't question a lifeline that is thrown to him, he takes whatever he gets. Proud hearts and stubborn wills love sin more than Jesus Christ.

The main reason why every self-righteous man remains lost and hopeless, is because he's still telling God how he's going to do it, and when he's going to do it, and under what conditions he's going to do it, and he's not going to get saved unless it matches his conditions. Self-righteousness is what damns a man. In due time, you will have to personally die and face Judgment. God be merciful to me a sinner. I have a dire need for your Son now. There must be no intermediates between you and Jesus Christ. For there is one God, and one Mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave Himself a Ransom for all sinners. Instant, infinite, irreversible salvation is available to you from Jesus Christ Himself now. Christ's bleeding love for sinners is pure and free. If you take Jesus, He'll take you. Lord Jesus, I'm a sinner for sure, I'm at end of my rope, I've got Hell coming, I deserve to be damned, but Lord Jesus you're the perfect Savior who died for my sins, Lord will you please remember me, and save me through your Precious Blood.
