And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for JESUS' name. If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you. If ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? God is able to make all Grace about toward you; The exceeding Grace of God in you; My Grace is sufficient for thee; They hear Thy words, but they will not do them: for with their mouth they shew much love, but their heart goeth after their covetousness; Called me by His Grace; I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake. For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on Him, but also to suffer for His sake. Took joyfully the spoiling of your goods. Count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations. But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings. Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf. Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to Him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.
