Job's Integrity Test

Let me know the next time you hear Job 31 expounded from any pulpit in America - sacrifice a few minutes of your time and take Job's Integrity Test and see how you fare:  I made a covenant with mine eyes; why then should I think upon a maid? *Matthew 5:28* For what portion of God is there from above? and what inheritance of The Almighty from on high? Is not destruction to the wicked? *Matthew 7:13* and a strange punishment to the workers of iniquity? *Luke 13:27*

Doth not the Almighty see my ways, and count all my steps? *Proverbs 15:3* If I have walked with vanity, or if my foot hath hasted to deceit; Let me be weighed in an even balance that God may know mine integrity. *Psalm 62:9* If my step hath turned out of the way, and mine heart walked after mine eyes, and if any blot hath cleaved to mine hands; *Psalm 101:3* Then let me sow, and let another eat; yea, let my offspring be rooted out. *II Timothy 2:19* If mine heart have been deceived by a woman, or if I have laid wait at my neighbour's door; *Proverbs 6:29* Then let my wife grind unto another, and let others bow down upon her. *Jeremiah 29:23* For this is an heinous crime; yea, it is an iniquity to be punished by the judges. *Genesis 39:9* For it is a fire that consumeth to destruction, and would root out all mine increase. *Hebrews 13:4*

If I did despise the cause of my manservant or of my maidservant, when they contended with me;  *Ephesians 6:9*  What then shall I do when God riseth up? and when He visiteth, what shall I answer Him? *Romans 3:19* Did not God that made me in the womb make him? and did not One fashion us in the womb? *Psalm 139:14* If I have withheld the poor from their desire, *Isaiah 3:15* or have caused the eyes of the widow to fail; *I John 3:17* Or have eaten my morsel myself alone, and the fatherless hath not eaten thereof; *James 1:27* (For from my youth he was brought up with me, as with a father, and I have guided her from my mother's womb;) If I have seen any perish for want of clothing, *James 2:16; Luke 3:11* or any poor without covering; *Galatians 2:10* If his loins have not blessed me, *I John 3:18* and if he were not warmed with the fleece of my sheep; *Isaiah 33:15* If I have lifted up my hand against the fatherless, when I saw my help in the gate:  *Ezekiel 16:7* Then let mine arm fall from my shoulder blade, and mine arm be broken from the bone.

For destruction from God was a terror to me, and by reason of His highness I could not endure. *II Corinthians 5:11* If I have made gold my hope *Proverbs 11:4*, or have said to the fine gold, thou art my confidence *Proverbs 3:26; I Timothy 6:10*; If I rejoice because my wealth was great *Proverbs 21:6*, and because mine hand had gotten much *Deuteronomy 8:18*; If I beheld the sun when it shined, or the moon walking in brightness; *Ezekiel 8:16* And my heart hath been secretly enticed, or my mouth hath kissed my hand:  This also were an iniquity to be punished by the judge: for I should have denied the God that is above. *Titus 1:16*

If I rejoice at the destruction of him that hated me, or lifted up myself when evil found him:  *James 4:11; Proverbs 17:5* Neither have I suffered my mouth to sin by wishing a curse to his soul. *Romans 12:14* If the men of my tabernacle said not, Oh that we had of his flesh! we cannot be satisfied. *I Peter 2:23* The stranger did not lodge in the street: but I opened my doors to the traveller. *Luke 16:20; *I Peter 4:9* If I covered my transgressions as Adam, by hiding mine iniquity in my bosom: *Proverbs 28:13* Did I fear a great multitude, or did the contempt of families terrify me *Proverbs 29:25*, that I kept silence, and went not out of the door? *Micah 7:3*

Oh that one would hear me!  behold, my desire is, that The Almighty would answer me, and that mine adversary had written a book. *James 2:6* Surely I would take it upon my shoulder, and bind it as a crown to me.  I would declare unto him the number of my steps; as a prince would I go near unto him. *Leviticus 19:13* If my land cry against me, or that the furrows likewise thereof complain; *Leviticus 26:34* If I have eaten the fruits thereof without money, *Jeremiah 22:13* or have caused the owners thereof to lose their life: *Isaiah 26:21* Let thistles grow instead of wheat, and cockle instead of barley.  The words of Job are ended.
  • Do my eyes wander lustfully?
  • Do my feet move deceitfully?
  • Do I make or spend money wrongfully?
  • Has my lust been fulfilled by committing adultery?
  • Have I treated others as God wants them treated?
  • Do I help the helpless, defenseless, and suffering, or am I selfish with my possessions?
  • Have I desired retaliation and revenge on my enemies?
  • Have I coveted wealth or been proud of what I possess?
  • How do I respond to the suffering of an enemy?
  • How do I assist strangers in need?
  • Have I neglected hospitality and charity?
  • Am I a faithful steward of the blessings God has given me?

The Manifold Wisdom of God

The Manifold Wisdom of God is contained in just three words found in John 19:30, and you'll miss it if you're not paying attention. When Jesus was suffering on the Cross due to our sins, right before He died, He said, "It Is Finished!" That is, He finished and paid the incalculable Ransom price with His own life and Blood that was required by God's Law and Divine Justice on account of our sins. Be wise - Do not try to add your works to what JESUS has already finished, or you will surely lose your soul. The Wisdom of God was exhibited in a mysterious way at the Cross; in such a way, that the religious natural mind cannot discern it. *Manifold* is an interesting Bible word. You see, manifold Transgressions require the manifold Grace of God.  In an essence, the Blood of the Lamb is what the Gospel is all about.  The Free Forgiveness of my manifold sins through His Innocent Blood. His forgivenesses are infinite. When compared to the pure gold of JESUS' BLOOD, our works are like Monopoly money in God's sight. The manifold Mercies of God are available now from Calvary's Lamb.  Turn up the quiet, and turn down the noise, and please reconsider what JESUS endured and finished for your soul's sake.
Soli Deo Gloria!

I'm Sittin' Pretty Good

As they say down here in the South, "I'm sittin' pretty good." You see, I'm seated together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus this morning. You don't believe me?  Look it up for yourself - *Ephesians 2:6*. God has raised me up, and made me sit in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Oh yeah, I'm sittin' pretty good. Well, I reckon so.

The All-Important Matter

There's a great deal of religious noise being sounded out today, but here is the All-Important Matter you need to listen to closely - Christ Jesus satisfied Divine Justice with the sinless Blood Atonement which He personally offered Himself on our behalf.  God's Plan of Salvation is by the Substitution of His innocent Son for guilty sinners.  A law of God's universe is that all sin must be punished.  God will by no means spare the guilty.  The soul that sinneth, it shall die.  The wages is sin is death.  Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the Law to do them. There can be no pardon for sin without punishment.

God demands of you two things - First, that you should keep his laws, but you cannot do this because you've already broken the divine Law in the past, and if you never sin against God again, you still must give account for what crimes you've already committed.  Second, God also demands punishment for the sins that are past, as well as perfect obedience for all the years to come.  If you die in your sins unforgiven, you must endure the flames of hell and the terrors of God's vengeance forever and ever.

I had sinned all my life and was under condemnation, guilt, a curse, and the wrath of God. *John 3:36*  In order for me to be released from my sins' captivity and curse, Jesus came to my Rescue and put Himself into my place and paid my sins' penalty in full and all that was due from me to God.  It was for my sins He suffered, bled and died.  Christ Jesus suffering instead of me, the Innocent bleeding for the guilty, the Lord of glory bearing the sins of rebellious mankind. Jesus ransomed me from Satan's tyranny and God's Divine Justice.

The payment of my enormous sin debt was demanded by Divine Justice, and Christ Jesus in love paid it all with His own life's blood.  A man owes a debt, a friend comes in, and pays the bill for him, and the man is clear of his debt forever - plain and simple.  I am now accounted Just in the sight of God through faith in Jesus Christ, the great Sin-Bearer.  The LORD hath laid on Jesus the iniquity of us all.  God the Father hath made JESUS to be Sin for us, that we might be made the Righteousness of God in Christ.

The only way of Safety is Substitution, the way of Atonement by God's Blood, depending on Jesus alone, trusting simply to His Blood, resting in His Righteousness, confiding in His words, receiving *Him* by faith in our hearts. The storm of God's wrath was threatening me, but Jesus bore the full force of the Storm for me, and now I'm protected from its Fury.  I now take Shelter in Jesus' wounds, my sin-debt is paid, Justice is satisfied, mercy is free, and I am redeemed from sins' slavery.

You best believe Jesus died for your sins on Calvary's tree hanging there in the darkness of God's wrath and vengeance.  Are you burnt out, have you had enough of sinning against a loving God?  Don't believe in luck, destiny or fate - Believe in Jesus, not yourself.

I'll make it short and sweet, so listen up - Almighty God in the person of Jesus of Nazareth stepped down from His eternal throne, because sinful men must be punished for their sins, and He said, "Father, I will bear their punishment, lay it all on Me."  He left His high estate in Heaven where angels adored Him, and He voluntarily subjected Himself to all the shame my sins deserved.  Jesus paid it all with His tears and bloody sweat in Gethsemane, with the cruel stripes of Gabbatha, and with His bleeding hands, feet, and side during His agonizing death on Golgotha.  He paid in full that which was due on account of my sins which were committed against God. The only reasons for His bloody death were my dire necessity for forgiveness and His own heart of love.  Jesus was the willing Friend of guilty men and women.  JEHOVAH forsook JESUS while He was bearing my sins in His own body on the tree, and He cried, "My God, my God, why hast Thou forsaken Me?"  He bore the terrible burden right to the end, and then on the Cross, He cried, "It is Finished!"

God accepted our cause, became a human being (Jesus of Nazareth), and stooped to die a shameful death on account of our sins against Him.  The terrible death on the Cross was the penalty due to my sins, and the execution of the righteous judgment of God against my iniquities.  God suffering in the form of a man in the person of Jesus of Nazareth.  The royal road of heavenly Wisdom leads to the Cross where the Savior suffered and shed His heart's blood for human sin.  His Precious Blood paid the inestimable price for our ransom from sin.  The crimson thread of Blood Atonement for Sin runs all through the Holy Bible from Genesis to Revelation.

The Surety died in the place of guilty man.  The Just Man instead of unjust man, bearing my deserved wrath of God.  Our fall was caused by Adam, and we are now lifted up by the Second Adam, the Lord from heaven, and in Him is no sin.  Jesus suffered for the guilty; Christ died for the ungodly.  He bore upon Himself the punishment due to human guilt. He bore the tremendous load of my guilt upon His innocent soul.  What Jesus went through to pay for your sins' penalty is utterly indescribable.  Here is what Jesus suffered due to your sins - foul jests, obscene remarks, filthy spit, shameful mockery, bloody death. O how the Lord Jesus Christ stooped on your account. Christ Jesus laid down His sinless life and rendered complete Satisfaction to the offended justice of Almighty God.  There is no God besides Jesus Christ; He is the Just God and the Merciful Savior of the world; there is none beside Him.

What will a man give in exchange for his soul today
reputation, religion, love of sin, worldly vanity?
Why do you choose to remain an enemy of God
in your mind by your wicked works?

Nothing can bring your heart, soul, mind and conscience peace with God but the blood of the Lamb.  Christ was made a Curse, so you could be blessed in Him.  You are either cursed in sin or blessed in Christ right now.  Believe on Christ's voluntary, substitutionary, bloody death upon Calvary's tree.  Ask the Holy Spirit to help you understand the goodness of His tender mercy and the severity of His inflexible justice.   Trust Jesus, I implore you, trust to His blood now.  Redemption means to pay the incalculable price for human sin with God's Blood.  Only faith in the Blood of Jesus Christ can free you from a guilty conscience, the fear of death, and the dread of Hell.  Your salvation must not depend upon who you are or what you've done, but only upon Jesus.

The Substitution of Christ for sinners is the core and vital essence of the Gospel - it alone can turn despair into Hope.  Only the Cross can bring hope to despondent and despairing sinners.  If the Gospel is not true, then all hope is gone; for the Gospel is the only Sun that shines in this dark world of sin.  The only Joy I have is in the Cross. Lost sinners are in a terrible condition, grave danger, and are facing a bleak future and grim death.

Sin-sick soul look to Jesus now for Mercy.  The Lamb of God shed His Precious Blood to reconcile sinners unto God forever.  Look to Jesus, take Him to be your Substitute, trust your soul in His pierced hands and be at peace with God through faith in His Blood.  Guilty, burdened, heavy laden sinners are always welcome at the Cross.  Come and take Christ for yourself personally.  Christ's Blood and Righteousness is your only ground of acceptance before God.  If your works are trying to add to Christ's Finished Work, the more works you pile up, the more you multiply your sins before God.  Your self-righteousness is abhorred by God and is an outright insult to Christ.

Jesus is the great Physician; He came here to heal you of your Sins, and this is His divine Medicine for human sin - the wounds of Jesus heal the wounds which your sins have made on your soul.  The only Remedy for your sins is the Precious Blood of Christ.  Don't let religious quacks distract you with their sacraments, ordinances, water, ceremonies, wafers, superstition, and idolatry.  The only cure for human sin is found in the stripes of Jesus.

How can God be Just, and yet forgive my sins?  This is the only way - Jesus bore the wrath of God because of the sinner's guilt and vindicated Divine Justice all by Himself, without any of your help.  God Himself, the Righteous Judge of all the Earth, became the Innocent Sufferer, suffering in the criminal's place; Jesus offered to God's Divine Justice a full recompense for our sins and guilty.  Jesus took my load of guilt upon Himself. The great transaction called Imputation is when God takes sin off the sinner and lays it upon His sinless Son, and the sinner is no longer accounted guilty before God.

Jesus made recompense to His own Law and Justice and was punished Himself in the place of the offender.  Justice and mercy met at Calvary.  Go to the Cross now and see what Sin deserves - shame, scorn, ridicule, nails, death.  Jesus was despised, abhorred, condemned, loathed and spurned for your sake.  Jesus was absolutely Innocent, but He was punished as if He was Sin itself.  Come now and rest your soul upon the person and finished work of Jesus Christ.

What is Sin?
Sin is an out-and-out rebellion
against the good and kind Omnipotent Creator;
Sin is an evil revolt against the Almighty.

My sins were transferred from my guilty soul to the innocent One. “The Lord hath laid on Him the iniquity of us all.” When my iniquity was found upon the innocent Lamb of God, He was “smitten of God and afflicted,” as if He had been the worst sinner that ever was. He was made to suffer for transgressions that were not His own, yes, He suffered as if they had been His own; and then mercy and justice shook hands, and righteousness and grace kissed each other.  Because of what Jesus did for me, I am now pardoned, justified, accepted, and sanctified. I will live and die leaning hard upon Christ Jesus and His Atoning Blood; He shall by my soul's only Dependence.  It is only the Blood and Righteousness of Jesus Christ, the Substitute for sinners, upon which I shall rely.  I believe in Jesus, the God-appointed Man who died instead of me and rose from the dead.

Good Things

He hath filled the hungry with good things; and the rich he hath sent empty away. Nevertheless there are good things found in thee, in that thou hast taken away the groves out of the land, and hast prepared thine heart to seek God.  Whoso causeth the righteous to go astray in an evil way, he shall fall himself into his own pit: but the upright shall have good things in possession.

Your iniquities have turned away these things,
and your sins have withholden good things from you.

If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?  A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.

Holy Spirit,
please help me understand
what really matters in this life -
I sure want those good things from You
that the Bible talks about.

The Eternal Death Warrant

The Christ rejector says this - I will not come to Christ that I might have life, I will not accept the Savior  and the Salvation that God has freely provided, Jesus shall not save me, I will do my own thing, I will believe my own way, and get to Heaven by my own works and merits.  I will not bow to Christ, for who is He that I should obey His voice, Christ is not worth having as a Savior, I want to keep enjoying my sins and fitting in with my worldly friends, for I can't afford to lose face or any income on account of Christ.  I don't need a Savior anyway, I'm ok just the way I am, and I'm better than most of the people I know anyhow. That Bible was written my man, that stuff is for little kids and old folks, and it cramps my style.  Take a few minutes sinner, and write down the exact reasons why you shun and reject Christ Jesus, put it down in black and white and sign it in Red, for that will be your eternal death warrant, for rejecting Christ is the most God-hating, heaven-defying sin you can commit.

What Bothers You Most?

Before I was born again, my sins didn't irritate me at all; and I didn't care if anyone went to Hell, because I was headed to Hell myself.  But now that I've been born again and redeemed by the Blood of the Lamb, there are two main things that bother me quite a bit:

1.  My sins, myself - I now have an inward conflict in my thought life and with my motives, words, actions and reactions; there is an internal warfare going on between the new man and old man hourly and daily.  That spiritual friction and infighting within my mind and heart wasn't going on before I received Christ and the Holy Spirit moved into my heart and mind. *Romans 7:23* But now, I have an inward struggle with my sins, and I have to constantly ask the Holy Spirit for strength and help to resist temptation and the power to do right for Jesus' sake. Now I struggle all the time to abstain from fleshly lusts which war against my soul.  Do you?

2.  Others around me that are still lost - Before I was converted to Christ Jesus, I never had any concern about my friends and family being lost and headed for Hell.  But now, I have an involuntary reflex, an urge inside to witness to those I sense are lost in their sins, self-righteousness and religion.  After I was born again, I began to witness on my own to my family and friends, before I had any soul winning lessons or discipleship. I knew people around me were lost, and I started telling them about Jesus the best way I know how, I just couldn't help it.  Has that ever happened to you?  Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth forever.  If you didn't meet JESUS in the Holy Bible, you've never really met the Crucified and Risen Creator.  When the Holy Spirit enters your body, mind and heart, you will begin to witness for Jesus - that is a spiritual, Biblical fact.  Religious church-goers don't witness to lost folks, but blood-washed, Spirit-born believers in Jesus do; they just can't help it - for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.  *Acts 1:8*

These two things are the two tell-tale signs that you have truly been born again of the Spirit of God.  If your sins and others around you going to Hell don't bother you, then you need to get to the Cross as soon as possible and ask the Lord Jesus Christ Himself and the Holy Spirit to give you their repentance and eternal life, and then better things will start to bother you. Repentance causes you to hate sins and forsake them, and Faith makes you concerned about others around you entering Eternity without Christ Jesus as their Savior.

Always be ready to serve Jesus, to cheerfully take His yoke upon you, and learn of Him, for He is meek and lowly in heart.  Be eager in His service, for He was eager to serve you.  Clearly communicate to others around you that Christ was crucified for their sins.  The only cure we have to offer sin-sick souls on the brink of despair is the Precious Blood.  Tell out the Marvelous Mercy of God available today at the Cross.  Jesus was committed to kindness and devoted to helping lost sinners.  The fact that Jesus Christ is my Sacrifice and Savior should prevent me from ever going into sin again.  How can I do this great wickedness and sin against God?  My sins killed Jesus Christ and brought Hell upon Him.  The wrath of God passed by me and struck the innocent Lamb of God.  In infinite Mercy, Jesus bore all the wrath of God for my sake.  The remembrance of these facts should hold me back from sinning against such a good and gracious God.  Pardon is free to me, but it cost Jesus His life, and because of what it cost Him, I am compelled to resist temptation, and hate and forsake my sins.  Soli Deo Gloria!

What's Wrong With You?

The Lord Jesus passed by and touched those *needy* folks that had something *wrong* with them.  Do you have anything *wrong* with you?  Once you truly realize, with the help of the Holy Spirit, that something is really wrong with you called Sin, that's exactly when The Lord Jesus Christ will show up to help you out.

And Jesus put forth His hand, and *touched* him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.  And He *touched* her hand, and the fever left her: and she arose, and ministered unto them.  Then *touched* He their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you.  And Jesus came and *touched* them, and said, Arise, and be not afraid.  Jesus had compassion on them, and *touched* their eyes: and immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed *Him*.  For Jesus had healed many; insomuch that they pressed upon Him for to *touch* Him, as many as had plagues.  And Jesus, immediately knowing in Himself that virtue had gone out of Him, turned Him about in the press, and said, Who *touched* my clothes?  And the whole multitude sought to *touch* Him: for there went virtue out of Him, and healed them all.  And Jesus answered and said, Suffer ye thus far. And He *touched* his ear, and healed him.  And Jesus answered and said unto Bartimaeus, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? The blind man said unto him, Lord, that I might receive my sight.
  • First, Jesus is waiting for you to realize you have a Sin problem.  The Holy Spirit along with the Scriptures will help you there.
  • Second, Jesus is waiting for you to call upon Him for help, that is, to ask for the divine miracle of the forgiveness of your sins all at once.
  • Third, Jesus wants you to be frank and tell Him what exactly is wrong with you within.  Simply ask Him for what you need inside.  Your prayer of faith to Him, and His answer of power, resulting in your sins immediately being put away forever.
  • Lastly, Jesus will rescue you from your Sin problem with His own blood.
Today, the Lord Jesus says to you,
"What wilt thou that I shall do unto thee?"
What will you answer Him?
What exactly is *wrong* with you?

Are You Alive!

Whenever someone is put on life support in a hospital, the physician will sometimes monitor brain waves to determine if there is still brain life in the patient.  Likewise, God is monitoring your heart and mind to determine if there is any real spiritual life in your heart towards Him.  Are you alive towards God right now?  God knows all about that.  Before a person is born again, they are "dead" spiritually in their trespasses and sins.  That means there are no sincere signals of affection coming from your being towards the living God.  That means there is no life, or true thoughts of love towards the Lord Jesus Christ whatsoever.  God knows the mind that has thoughts of love to Him and His Son, and He knows the heart that cares about hurting or pleasing Him.  The Almighty Creator senses each heart that is beating with love for Him, that is trustful towards Him, and those minds that have the signals of Life eternal.

Until you are truly born again of the Spirit of God by trusting to the Lord Jesus Christ and His Precious Blood, your heart and mind is flatlining towards God, that is, there is no activity that God acknowledges.  There are no true spiritual vital signs active in your inward parts until the divine nature is imparted to you by the Spirit of the Lord.  God knows the soul that fights with sins inwardly and that seeks the Holy Spirit's help and strength.

And you hath He quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;  Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved).  And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath He quickened together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses;  For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.  Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is Life and peace.

There is not a spark of eternal life within you until you receive Christ Jesus into your heart by faith in His blood.  You can be alive physically, but dead spiritually towards God and not even realize it, until the Holy Spirit Himself moves in your mind and heart, and shows you your deadness, sinfulness and hopelessness inside.

Are you Alive?

Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.  You have to be made alive by the Holy Spirit; the new birth is a miracle from God that happens when you come to your senses about your sinfulness and lost state, and turn from your love for sinning to God, and trust to the Lord Jesus Christ Himself.  If you're not alive unto God, you are still in natural, sinful state.

He that hath the Son hath Life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.  Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink His blood, ye have no life in you.  Paul was brought to Life on the road to Damascus - "For behold, he prayeth."

Have you really passed from death unto Life, or are you just a religious church-goer?  O LORD, Thou knowest.  The words of God are quick and powerful, you must sincerely believe what God said first about His dear Son in the Holy Bible, and then you must heartily believe on His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, who bore your sins in His own body, and suffered the wrath of God for those sins you are committing.  You see, He bled and died on account of your rebellion towards God, and then He rose from the dead, and is now alive forever more.  Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth My word, and believeth on Him that sent Me, hath everlasting Life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto Life.

Are you Alive unto God?

Some Sound Advice

Some sound advice - Don't waste your time, it's so precious, and don't lose your soul, for it's priceless: The Lord Jesus Christ is far Better than anything this old sinful world will try to offer you. His Blood can justify and forgive freely, and make the vilest sinner clean. Reject your works, the bad and the good, and trust only to Jesus' sinless doings and bloody death.

Jesus' pardon and peace, they only come Free, the sinfulest may have them, 'twas given to me. No goodness or fitness, does Jesus expect from us, this I can well witness, for none could be worse. Here's my claim, and here alone; none a Savior more can need; deeds of righteousness I've none; no, not one good work to plead. There wasn't a glimpse of hope for me, except for the darling Lamb of God who bled and died on Calvary.

You see, when He saved my soul 30 years ago, he pulled me back from the precipice of eternal death and gave me life eternal for His name's sake. I was out of control in my sin, but He reached His Hand down and saved me from drowning in my Guilt and Shame.  For some reason beyond my comprehension, the Crucified Creator had unspeakable mercy on me when I didn't deserve it and saved my soul when I wasn't worth it. Jesus will only relieve the poor in spirit. O how my poor soul needed some of His Relief. He looked inside me and saw my bankrupt soul in dire need of His unsearchable riches. He could've just let me go on in my sins and left me for dead, but He sought me and bought me with His own blood. And now, on His Promises and Blood alone will I depend, for I know He'll love me to the very end. Thank you Lord Jesus for loving me the way you do.

Heavenly Surveillance

The LORD looketh from Heaven; He beholdeth all the sons of men. From the place of His habitation He looketh upon all the inhabitants of the earth. He fashioneth their hearts alike; He *considereth all* their works (Psalm 33:13-15). You have “secret sins", that you don't want anyone else to find out about. Your sin-filled past life haunts your memory and conscience. You haven't been found out yet, but you will. The night may have been too dark for human eyes to see you; the dirty deed may have been too secret for man to see; but every one of your secret sins are set down in God's record book in heaven. All the books will be opened at the Judgment (Revelation 20:11-15). God sets your “secret sins in the light of His countenance.” Right now, all your sins are before the all-seeing eye of the infinite JEHOVAH. You are under Heavenly Surveillance 24/7/365.

Consider your ways for God is considering them. Be sure your sins will find you out, if not here on earth, they will surely find you out at the Judgment to come. Divine Justice is on your trail right now. God is watching you all the time; He knows what we're up to inside and out. He knows the way that you take, and He knows the secrets of your heart. God is a knowing God, He's an involved God. God knows your moral character and thought life. He knows the days of the upright (Psalm 37:18). God is personally involved and interested in your daily activities. He numbers your steps every day, He perceives your thought life (Luke 5:22), He watches over your sins every night (Job 14:16), and the very hairs of your head are all numbered all throughout every week (Matthew 10:30). There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death (Proverbs 14:12). God sees you just the way you are.

God told you to live right, and you haven't. He gave you His Commandments, but you haven't kept them. You sin for the mere sake of sinning. You spend your money, time, and energy in sinning. You try to forget your sinful past, but you can't, your sin is ever before you: the fear of death, divine justice, and eternal punishment haunt your evil conscience at times. God gave you His own dear Son, and you have neglected and rejected Him - this is the damning sin. You've always disobeyed God; you've sinned against light and knowledge. You have sinned in the very face of Divine Justice with God's eye fixed on you. You can never get away from God's observation. He is a just and sin-hating God.

Heaven's security cameras are always on. You think hard thoughts about God, because you love evil; and He hears those silent thoughts that your evil heart utters. Who are you when no one is looking but God?  When the door is locked and shades are down, God's eyes are upon you.  How can I be saved from Divine Justice? Worldly or religious wisdom is all in vain when it comes to the forgiveness of sins. God is just and holy, and He can't take you the way you are in your natural sinful state, but God gave His Son to satisfy the Divine Justice you have coming to you. If you will take and trust Christ's Blood Atonement, God will take you back. God will only take you on Jesus' grounds alone, and nowhere else. Jesus was the one perfect Blood Sacrifice taking guilty man's place. Now understand - The only hope for a poor guilty sinner from the Divine Justice of God is the Precious Blood of Jesus Christ. Divine Justice awaits every Christ rejecter, but you don't have to go to Hell.

How could God be holy and take sinners back? He couldn't except at the Cross where God in human flesh died a bloody death for guilty sinners. You see, the main issue is Righteousness. Jesus died to give sinners a Righteousness they don't have. You have sinned against God, you are going to face the Judgment, and in your own righteousness, you cannot make it. God gave His own Son to die to give you the Righteousness (Romans 10:3-4) you need to get into Heaven, and without that Righteousness (Christ Himself), you are not getting in. God Almighty demands Righteousness, and you are not righteous at all, and you cannot help save yourself. Until you realize you cannot help save yourself, you are in no condition for God to save you. You have to be lost, before you can be found. The only way to avoid the White Throne Judgment is to stop trusting yourself, and simply trust in Christ's Finished Cross-Work to save your soul from Divine Justice, the Wrath of God, and the love of sin. For Salvation from sin it can't get any simpler: trust Christ Himself, your sins are gone; reject Christ, you're done.

The hollow religionist feels some kind of reverence for God on Sunday, but during the other six days of the week he thinks and lives like a practical atheistic worldling. When he comes into a church building, he has some superstitious sense of God being there; he tries to behave with reverence, decency and respect in church; but in other places he dares to act as if he is out of range of God’s eyes and ears. He thinks God is not in that room where he follows out his filthy lusts and obscene passions. He imagines that when he is out of man’s sight, he is also out of God’s sight. Religionists act and live as if God were either dead, or else blind and deaf, utterly oblivious to everything that is done in secret. How blind is the man who thinks God is blind concerning his sinning. God sees your thought life and actions every day. You cannot consent to sin anywhere, for God is always everywhere. The whole earth is God’s house: it is offensive and obscene to mistreat and dishonor the Creator in His own house. The starry skies are the roof of God’s temple, and beneath God’s blue sky we cannot find a place to sin in. Nowhere in time is there space for evil, nor in the universe is there room for sin. God’s omnipresence and omniscience is a deathblow to secret sin. “They know God, but they glorify him not as God,” but think that God is absent either in person or in mind, and that in some secret place, they can hide away from Him, and with impunity follow after their own filthy desires.

God knows proud people and He avoids them: the LORD be high, yet hath He respect unto the lowly: but the proud He knoweth afar off (Psalm 138:6). The LORD knoweth them that trust in Him. If you look around to see if someone is watching before you do something, that action is probably sinful (Exodus 2:12). The omniscient, omnipresent Creator has a clear uninterrupted sight of all persons and their actions, both inward and outward. Nothing can hide your evil thoughts and deeds from God's eyes. God always takes notice what is done here below; His eye is upon all the workers of iniquity. There is no darkness, nor shadow of death, where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves (Job 34:22). Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep His commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.

Words of Comfort

Death and sin are consuming and devouring the outward man every day (the wages of sin is death). Decay, deterioration, and death always works hard on carnal, earth-loving sinners. Daily, death slowly draws the memory out of our brains, the sight out of our eyes, the hearing out of our ears, the teeth out of our mouths, the taste out of our tongues, the elasticity and clarity out of our skin, the firmness out of our muscles and flesh, the hormones out of our body, the form out of our shape, the strength out of your bones, the power out of your muscles, the flexibility out of our joints, the color and shine out of our hair, the hair off our heads, the brightness out of our eyes, the insulin out of our pancreas, the processing out of our kidneys, the discs out of our spines, the beats out of our hearts, but one day we will receive a glorious body from the Lord Jesus Christ (but the gift of God is eternal life).

Now he is comforted... (Luke 16:25). Death is a comfort to the saved soul. God shall wipe away all tears...(Rev 21:4). I go to prepare a place for you... And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto Myself; that where I am, there ye may be also (John 14:2-3). Because I live, ye shall live also (John 14:19 For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words. I Thess 4:16-18 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. I John 5:12

Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. Hebrews 2:14-15 For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come. I Timothy 4:8 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. I Corinthians 2:9

To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, I Peter 1:4 But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel: II Timothy 1:10 Blessed are they which die in the LORD... Revelation 14.13 Surely He hath borne our griefs and carried our sorrows... Isaiah 53.4 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4.16 When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee. Isaiah 43.1-2 I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. Hebrews 13.5 Though He slay me, yet will I trust him. Job 13.15 My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart. Psalm 73.26

I, even I, am He that comforteth you...the God of all comfort. Isaiah 51.12; II Corinthians 1.3-4 Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of His saints. Psalm 116.15 What I do thou knowest not now; but thou shalt know hereafter. John 13.7 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. John 14.18 Having a desire to depart, and be with Christ; which is far better. Philippians 1.23 Ye have in heaven a better and an enduring substance. Hebrews 10.34 I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness. Psalm 17.15 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? But thanks be to God. I Cor 15.55-57, Isaiah 25.8, Hosea 13.14 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for Thou art with me. Psalm 23.4 The righteous hath hope in his death. Proverbs 14.32 Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep My saying, he shall never see death. John 8.51 Jesus by the grace of God should taste death for every man. Hebrews 2.9 Thank God we will never have to taste death in eternity...

He will be our guide even unto death. Psalm 48.14 But God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave. Psalm 49.15 For I am persuaded, that neither death. Romams 8.38-39 None considereth that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come. Isaiah 57.1-2 I wait, till my change come. Job 14.14 There the weary be at rest. Job 3.17 Let me die the death of the righteous, and let my last end be like his. Numbers 23.10 In Thy presence is fulness of joy, at Thy right there are pleasure for evermore. Psalm 16.11 Verily I say unto thee, To day, shalt thou be with Me in paradise. Luke 23.43 Thine eyes shall see the king in His beauty. Isaiah 33.17 Looking unto Jesus, the author and 'finisher' of our faith. Hebrews 12.2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. Colossians 3:2

* Learn to die daily, that will make 'giving up' the ghost easier. The man who practices dying every day, the man who has a daily rehearsal of it, will not be afraid of the reality when it comes. Death will come up into our own windows, but Jesus will be with us. Dip your foot in Jordan each morning before you leave your bedroom.

* Hold very loosely everything on earth. Lay hold on eternal life. One day we will put off the work clothes of the flesh and put on our Sunday best (heavenly body). 'Things on earth' make it hard to die. We are strangers and pilgrims here, just passing through. Check your luggage before you depart: lay up your treasure in heaven before you depart this life. What I spent, I had; What I kept, I lost; What I gave away, I have.

* Set your affection on things above. Pray for God's grace to help you. Visit the throne of grace often. Look away from this vile earth to the city of God, New Jerusalem. Long for glory where God the Father and the Lord Jesus are on the throne. No more pain, trials, sorrow, sin or death. And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.

* Believe wholly in the Lord Jesus Christ. Lord I believe, help thou mine unbelief. Fear and faith battle one another. Childlike trust in the Precious Blood of Lamb of God will extinguish our doubts and fears. I will never leave you, nor forsake you. I will fear no evil, for Thou art with me. What time I am afraid, I will trust in Thee. He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD. Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid.

* Walk with God every day like it was your last. Live each day as it were to be your last. Live with all your might for the Lamb of God. We should be standing like a passenger at the train station. Your luggage has been checked, your ticket in hand, and only waiting to step into the train and be gone forever.

We are all like a traveler on a journey (life) that is staying at a hotel (this world) temporarily. If his room (lot in life) is not quite to his taste, he doesn't trouble himself. He doesn't fret himself about little inconveniences (trials and disappointments), because the taxi will arrive in the morning. Then he will be packed and ready, and then take a ride, and go and fly away to rest in his permanent home.

At death we will be rid of our troubles, rid of our sin, delivered from temptation forever, no more pain, we will be like Jesus, we will see Jesus face to face, see our loved ones and the brethren that passed on before us. Death will answer many of our prayers. The world may laugh and joke about death, but watch them closely at a funeral, on a death bed, or at the ICU. If you're a little too godly or too spiritual, standby, for God will have to bring you down and make you human, so you can reach humans for His Son. We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord (II Cor 5:8).

A Thief In The Night

The Lord Jesus Christ Himself will descend from heaven with a shout to the clouds and catch away the church bodily (born again believers in Jesus' blood, the dead and the living) to ever be with HIM, and then seven years of tribulation will begin.  If you are not born again, you will get to live here with the Antichrist for seven years, he will be your god.  And then at the end of the great tribulation, Jesus will come down to the Earth and rule over all the Earth from Jerusalem, the city of the Great King.  At the end of His 1,000 year reign on Earth, there will be a final rebellion, and God will devour them with fire out of heaven.

AND THEN, this world as we know it will come to an end.  The heavens and the earth will pass away, and the White Throne Judgment will occur, the Judgment will be set, and the books will be opened.  If you die in your sins in your natural state, that's where you will get to give account of your sins and works to your Creator.  And whosoever was not found written in the Lamb's book of life was cast into the lake of fire.  After the White Throne Judgment, God will create a new heaven and a new earth.  God will make all things new, and the holy city, New Jerusalem, will come down from God out of heaven.  The saints will reign with Christ and worship Him forever and ever.  The wicked will be in the lake of fire forever and ever.  And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.  But of that day and hour KNOWETH NO MAN, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.  But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.  For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch THE THIEF would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.  Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.  For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a THIEF in the night.

Your Most Urgent Need

Your most urgent need today and every day is the working of the Holy Ghost in your spirit, mind and soul. Without the operation of the Spirit of God you are hopeless and helpless. Human nature has self-righteous tendencies and the spirit of self-confidence reigns in the human heart by nature. Your soul's absolute necessity is the Holy Spirit. The natural man puts confidence in the mere strength of human nature, good intentions, strong resolutions, instead of relying upon the strength and grace of God alone. Man's gospel says, "Do your best, and let Jesus do the rest." But this is not the Gospel of the Grace of God. Without Christ you can do nothing. Human self-confidence is a heinous sin and an offense towards God. The human mind always forgets to rely on Christ alone and the work of the Holy Spirit. Justification is only through simple faith in the atoning sacrifice and perfect righteousness of Jesus Christ - the Lamb of God. There is no life in the soul apart from the breath of the Almighty Spirit.

The new birth, that is, Regeneration is the work of God the Holy Ghost from above. The new birth is never commenced by any man. The movement and visitation of the Holy Ghost (the Quickener) to a sinner's heart is what is needed most. The man dead in his sins cannot and will not seek after God. The dead sinner cannot make himself alive, for a dead soul can do nothing to help himself. You can never create a new heart and a right spirit within yourself. The work of the Holy Ghost will lead you to completely rely on the work of Christ as your salvation. Regeneration is the very first act of God the Spirit in the soul. The man begins to feel that he is a sinner indeed, he senses the sinfulness of sin, he realizes his guilt and danger. He begins to feel the awful load and evil of transgression against God. His heart begins to tremble, he becomes unhappy, miserable, downcast, and distressed.

The lost man is utterly incapable of saving himself. Human nature thinks that it is good, it tries doing its best, doing fleshly religious ceremonies. You will soon be damned to all eternity without the work of the Spirit of God in your soul. You must seek in earnest to look to Jesus Christ the Savior for all your salvation. You must be weaned from all your self-confidence. The Holy Ghost gives the soul faith to truly believe on Christ alone, and then sprinkles the blood of Jesus on the needy soul. Throw your soul wholly on the blood and righteousness of Jesus. The Holy Spirit must put the robe of Christ's Righteousness on your soul. You must first be quickened by the Spirit; you must be called and wooed out of darkness and into light; you must be made a new creature in Christ Jesus.

You may think you're just as good as other people, and as moral as a man can be, but you're not as good as Jesus Christ - He was perfect and you're not - you're a sinner to the bone marrow. Salvation must be between you and Jesus Christ. Your morality or good works are of no value. You must be quickened by the Holy Spirit and given divine life. Except a man be born again, the gate of Heaven will shut him out forever. You must be the subject of the Holy Ghost's divine change, there is no exception. Blessed is the man who is born of God. The Holy Spirit will make you alive, cause you to sense your guilt and show you your need of the Savior, cause you to become conscious of your death in sin, and then lead you to the Cross of Jesus Christ.

The Lord Jesus Christ died especially for your sins against God. You cannot help save yourself, forsake your self-righteousness and love for sin, and seek God's mercy and blood. You'd be very wise to trust your immortal soul with the Lord Jesus Christ, for He is *the* sinner's Savior.  Without His Blood applied to your sinful soul, you have no chance of making it past the White Throne Judgment, for divine justice is no respecter of persons.  If you die without Jesus Christ, you will be lost forever. Trust Christ's bloody Atonement to save your soul. Only Christ can put away your sins and save your soul.

The Gospel of the Grace of God asks nothing of you, but it freely gives all to you. Look to Jesus Christ, He took your sins and died for them. Look directly to the Cross now, behold His wounds, His pierced hands, His thorn-crowned brow, His bleeding feet, behold His riven side opened for you. Trust what Jesus did alone, He bled and died for your sins - Repent of the sins you have committed against Him, trust Christ alone and the perfect merits which He has performed for you. The moment your soul really trusts Christ, your sins are all forgiven immediately and forever, and eternal life is irreversible.  You are completely saved beyond risk of being lost. Your most urgent need is the work of the Holy Ghost. The Spirit of God, the breath of the Almighty, will give you eternal life freely if you place all your trust on Christ Jesus alone, put all your confidence in His finished work on Calvary's Cross now.

Remember Thy Creator

All things were made by the Lord Jesus Christ; and without Him was not any thing made that was made. *John 1:3* But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female. *Mark 10:6* Hath not one God created us? *Malachi 2:10* Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth. *Ecclesiastes 12:1* For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day He rested, and was refreshed. *Exodus 31:17* Thou art the God, even Thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth; Thou hast made heaven and earth. *II Kings 19:15* Lift up your eyes on high, and behold who hath created these things, that bringeth out their host by number: He calleth them all by names by the greatness of His might, for that He is strong in power; not one faileth. *Isaiah 40:26* For all the gods of the people are idols: but the Lord made the heavens. *I Chronicles 16:26*

Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, that made heaven and earth. *II Chronicles 2:12* Thou, even Thou, art Lord alone; Thou hast made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all things that are therein, the seas, and all that is therein, and Thou preservest them all; and the host of heaven worshippeth thee. *Nehemiah 9:6* By the word of the Lord were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of His mouth. *Psalm 33:6* My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. *Psalm 121:2* O LORD of hosts, God of Israel, that dwellest between the cherubims, thou art the God, even thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth: thou hast made heaven and earth. *Isaiah 37:16*

Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of His understanding. *Isaiah 40:28* Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth. *Psalm 124:8* To the LORD that by wisdom made the heavens: for His mercy endureth for ever. *Psalm 136:5* Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the Lord his God: which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein is: which keepeth truth for ever. *Psalm 146:5-6* The LORD by wisdom hath founded the earth; by understanding hath he established the heavens. *Proverbs 3:19*

I have made the earth, and created man upon it: I, even My hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded. *Isaiah 45:12* For, lo, He that formeth the mountains, and createth the wind, and declareth unto man what is his thought, that maketh the morning darkness, and treadeth upon the high places of the earth, The Lord, The God of hosts, is His name. *Amos 4:13* For thus saith the Lord that created the heavens; God Himself that formed the earth and made it; He hath established it, He created it not in vain, He formed it to be inhabited: I am the Lord; and there is none else. *Isaiah 45:18* In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. *Genesis 1:1* Thus saith God the Lord, He that created the heavens, and stretched them out; He that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; He that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein. *Isaiah 42:5*

JEHOVAH hath made the earth by His power, He hath established the world by His wisdom, and hath stretched out the heavens by His discretion. *Jeremiah 10:12; 51:15* Ah Lord GOD! behold, Thou hast made the heaven and the earth by Thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for Thee. Jeremiah 32:17* I fear the Lord, the God of heaven, which hath made the sea and the dry land. *Jonah 1:9* Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. *Romans 1:25* The heavens are thine, the earth also is thine: as for the world and the fulness thereof, thou hast founded them. In God's hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is His also. The sea is His, and He made it: and His hands formed the dry land. O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our Maker. *Psalm 95:4-6*

Lord, Thou art God, which hast made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all that in them is. *Acts 4:24* I have made the earth, and created man upon it: I, even My hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded. *Isaiah 45:12* We also are men of like passions with you, and preach unto you that ye should turn from these vanities unto the living God, which made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all things that are therein. *Acts 14:15* God that made the world and all the things therein, seeing that He is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands. *Acts 17:24* Fear God, and give glory to Him; for the hour of His judgment is come: and worship Him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters. *Revelation 14:7*

For by Jesus Christ were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him, and for Him. *Colossians 1:16* Thou art worthy, O Lord Jesus, to receive glory and honour and power: for Thou hast created all things, and for Thy pleasure they are and were created. *Revelation 4:11* All things were made by the Lord Jesus Christ; and without Him was not any thing made that was made. *John 1:3*

The Real Questions

Just who are you trying to impress anyway, and who are you trying to draw attention to? Those are the real questions. John was always drawing attention to the Lamb of God (John 1:29), and Paul tried his best to direct hearts toward the Cross (Galatians 6:14).  They never tried to draw attention to themselves, or their church or denomination.

Behold the Lamb of God
which taketh away the sin of the world;
and God forbid that I should glory
save in the Cross of our Lord Jesus Christ.
