The Gospel Message

Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.  Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners.  God manifest in the flesh came to Earth; His name was Jesus of Nazareth.  He lived a sinless life for me.  Sin, guilt and death is all that I ever was.  My sin was all my own.  My feet made haste to Hell, and there I should have gone. The brevity, frailty, and uncertainty of life troubled me.  My sins and the fear of hell haunted me.  But Jesus' love was great and His mercy wooed me to believe in His blood.

By simple faith in Jesus, the obedience and righteousness of His spotless life is now placed to my account.  By grace, Christ's Righteousness has been imputed to my soul, as my sins were to Him.  If you are a slave to sin and destitute of God, call upon the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. The glorious Lamb of God satisfied divine justice for sinful man, Adam's rebel race. Divine Justice was served on the Lamb of God as He bore my sins and their death sentence on the Cross.  A sinful wretch can only find the free Forgiveness of Sins, mercy, peace and Rest at Calvary.  Time is slipping away on you; you better get down to business with Jesus Christ Himself, the living God in human flesh.  You need a personal dealing with the Crucified and Risen Creator before its too late.  The bill for your sins is coming due, and you'll have to pay it Forever, if you die in your sins as a Christ rejecter.

The Judge of all the Earth suffered a bloody death to set guilty prisoners of sin free.  In your natural state, you are facing impending doom.  He bore the wrath and curse for me in His own body on the tree and paid my debt in full.  Grace most free flows now from Calvary's Cross. Perfect Righteousness and Full Pardon is yours for the taking from the nailed hands of Immanuel.  He bled and died for my ungodly soul, all my sins to atone. The heavy-laden soul can only find Rest beneath the Blood of Christ at the Cross. Close with the Blood of Christ at once. Which will you obey - the voice of Sin, or the Voice of the Holy Spirit?  Think of Jesus' atoning blood for sinners spilt, and let that blood your pardon buy.  Arise from your senseless, sinful state; and simply take the forgiveness and eternal life the Gospel freely offers to you today.

If you are weary of self and sin and have no merits of your own, come to Jesus without delay, and on His blood now rely. *Matthew 11:28*  I hang my guilty head ashamed of all my wicked ways and the hateful life I have led.  I am full of sin, my soul is dark and guilty.  A bleeding Savior I have viewed dying in my stead, and I now hate my sins.  Vilest of the vile am I, but Jesus died for me.  Nothing but sin can I call my own.  Only Jesus' blood could atone for my guilt.  Human merit and worldly vanity I disdain for they can never satisfy.  Unworthy and unclean, I am nothing else but Sin.  On Jesus' tender mercies I rely.  Come on now, Fix all of your hope and faith on Jesus' Blood.  Jesus' blood has made an end of my guilt and sin.  My soul and body has been purchased by His most precious blood.   The blood of Christ Jesus is most precious and the sinner's perfect plea.

The Lord Jesus Christ freely saves the lost, only in His blood trust.  Christ died for the ungodly.  Take Shelter in Jesus at the Cross at once, and escape the wrath to come on your sins.  Bleeding Love's redeeming work is done. Long for and seek Jesus' mercy and favor.  Lord Jesus, forgive and rescue me, even me.  The love, grace and blood of God is available at Calvary today.  Trust now to the love of the Father, the merit and blood of the Son of God, and the power of the Holy Spirit.  The only thing in the entire universe that can *hide* your sins from the all-seeing Holy eyes of God is the Precious Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, God manifest in the flesh. *I Peter 1:19* Religion can dull your conscience and make you 'feel' better about yourself, but it can't help you one bit when it comes to your sins. Only the Lamb of God Himself can forgive your sins. *Colossians 1:14*

Holy Spirit, undertake for me and purify my soul.  Sin aggravates my mind, my thought life troubles me. My proud, sinful thoughts are a pain in my side. I hate my sins which crucified my God and that made my Savior suffer and bleed.  Every idol and vanity I resign and disdain. I hate sinning against God and dread hurting such a good, loving Creator.  Christ Jesus and His Cross are my only plea, O my God be merciful to me. To Calvary alone I flee, JEHOVAH have mercy and love me freely for JESUS' sake, for I have nothing to pay.

Jesus, us sinners are as fickle as the weather, keep us from wandering from You.  Without Jesus' smile, my mind, spirit and soul cannot rest.  My sins can only be subdued by grace divine.  May I know nothing beside Jesus and Him crucified.  All that I am and ever hope to be, I owe it all to the Lord Jesus Christ.  All the Glory, Lord Jesus, from first to last is due to your Holy Name.  All my help is from the Cross, all besides that I count but loss.  On Jesus' blood alone my hopes depend.  Give me Christ, or else I die. Extol the sin-atoning Lamb of God.  My great ambition in this life is to make Jesus and His Gospel known. The Cross is my only theme and glory.

Mercy for the Guilty

There's Mercy Divine always available for the guilty and hope for the vilest sinner at Calvary's Cross beneath the Atoning Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, God manifest in the flesh. Hear Him now on the Cross crying, It is Finished! That's why He died. See Him in tender mercy saving the guilty thief hanging there by His side. All of us are guilty as that thief, dead in sins; and Looking to the Crucified Creator by Faith in His Blood is the only way to obtain Life Eternal freely. Instantaneous Forgiveness and Irreversible Eternal Life is accessible to even you through Childlike Faith in the Savior's Precious Blood. Christ receiveth sinful men, even you with all your sin.  All your hell-deserving sins can now be forgiven and your soul can be brought nigh to God because Jesus endured the divine justice and vengeance due to your sins. Mercy is welcome news to guilty wretches that come to the Cross with a contrite spirit.

We've all sinned against God, exception none can boast, and the sinner that feels the heaviest load of sin, will prize Jesus' forgiveness most. Let our sin debts be what they may, however great or small, as soon as we have nothing to pay, the Lord Jesus Christ freely forgives us all. It is destitution and deep poverty alone that sets the sinful soul free. While we can call one penny our own, we cannot be granted the Savior's free redemption.  Jesus bore every one of your sins in His own body on the tree of Calvary; the bloody stripes that He endured were because of your transgressions, so peace and pardon could be Free. If you are burdened with guilt, and would be blessed; trust not religion, for it gives no rest. Christ Jesus, the Lamb of God Himself, is ready to forgive you; look now and trust to His Bleeding Love and find mercy in His love and blood for your guilty soul.

Worthy is the Lamb that was slain!

Long, long ago

Nothing, either great or small,
Nothing, sinner, no!
Jesus did it! He did it All:
Long, long ago.

When Jesus from God's lofty throne
Stoop'd to do and die,
Everything was fully done:
Hearken to His cry: --

"It is Finished!"
Yes, indeed, Finished every jot:
Sinner, this is all you need,
Tell me, is it not?

Weary, working, plodding one,
Why toil you so?
Cease your doing; all was done,
Long, long ago.

Till to Jesus' work you cling
By a simple faith,
"Doing" is a deadly thing,
"Doing" ends in death.

Cast your deadly "doing" down,
Down at Jesus' feet:
Stand in Him, in Him alone,
Gloriously complete!

The Road Ahead

My Lord God,
   I have no idea where I am going;
   I do not see the road ahead of me;

   I cannot know for certain where it will end;
   Nor do I really know myself,
   and the fact that I think that I am following
   Your will does not mean that I am actually doing so.

   But I believe that the desire
   to please You does in fact please You.
   And I hope that I have that desire in all that I am doing.
   I hope that I will never do anything apart from that
        desire.
   And I know if I do this,
   You will lead me by the right road
   though I may know nothing about it.

   Therefore I will trust You
   always though I may seem lost.
   And in the shadow of death,  I will not not fear,
   for You are forever with me,
   and You will never leave me
   to face my troubles alone.
