Behind the Bloody Door

In Exodus 12, the Egyptians must have thought that the Israelites were superstitious, religious nuts when they saw them out smearing lamb's blood on their houses.  If you were driving down the road in your hometown today, and you saw some family outside painting their house with blood, you would think they had lost their minds or part of some religious cult.

But the Jews were commanded by the LORD *Exodus 12:1* to take the blood of a lamb without blemish and strike it on their doors.  The spotless lamb could not be just tied up to their door alive.  The innocent lamb had to die and its blood had to be spilt.  The lamb's blood had to be shed, because sin requires judgment and death.  The blood of the spotless lamb had to be sprinkled on the front door of the house, not the back door.  This is a picture of their unashamed, open profession and obedience to God's words and way.  The Jews regarded the words of God and therefore were saved; the Egyptians disregarded God's command and suffered death for it.

Sin is no respecter of persons. The wages of sin has always been death.  We are all condemned already under the curse of the Law.  But God, who is rich in mercy, provided a way for Israel to avoid His destroying wrath.  They had to be sheltered behind a bloody door.  All the spiritual firstborns in this world today are in danger.  Everyone must be twice-born in order to avoid the wrath of God in Eternity.  Ye must be born again within your spirit and soul by the Spirit of God.  Every man had to take the blood and apply the blood to his house.  Either the firstborn or an innocent substitute must suffer the penalty.  The Israelites were not any more righteous than the Egyptians, they needed the Blood to protect them too.  They couldn't trust their good works; they needed Blood.  Every man that night had to be saved by Blood.

Today in 2013, every soul must be saved by Blood, but not just any Blood, it has to be God's Blood that was shed by Immanuel (God with us) on Calvary's Cross.  Jesus suffered and bled on the Cross, but not for any guilt He ever had, but to show me that I am guilty, and that I deserved to die like He did.  If you mix anything you have done with the blood of Jesus, you are lost; if trust to anything else but Jesus alone, you will perish in your sins.  Men want to trust in themselves and in Christ too.  If you rely on anything with Jesus, you shall be surely damned.  If you do not believe on the Lord Jesus Christ implicitly, ye shall die in your sins.  You must personally receive and appropriate Christ Jesus for yourself.  The Blood of Jesus Christ must be between your soul and an avenging God.

If God had not provided a means for Israel to escape that night, they would have all suffered death.  Israel was just as sinful as Pharaoh and the Egyptians.  When the destroyer passed through Egypt at midnight, He was not looking for Jews or Gentiles, He was looking only for the blood of the lamb.  The blood alone made the Jews safe, God's promise made them sure.  They had rejected Moses' word from God at the first; they were resistant to God's voice, just like every lost man.  They were guilty of idolatry at Mount Sinai when they made a molten calf to worship.

There is no difference, for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.  Every sin you commit is against your Maker, and it is a capital offense and deserves eternal death.  You are just as guilty of sin as Charles Manson or Pope Francis.  You are under the sentence of death for your sins. The blood represents the taking of a life.  An innocent substitute's blood has to be spilt, a life for a life. Jesus died in my place, Christ instead of me. Jesus took the punishment that I had coming to me for intentionally sinning against the holy God that created me.

The only place of safety for your soul right now is behind the Bloody Door.  Jesus is the Bloody Door that you must enter into by Faith, and hide behind, in order to be protected from the wrath of God that will surely come upon all men who die unconverted in their natural state. *John 3:36*  Jesus was holy, harmless, absolutely sinless. *John 19:6; Matthew 27:4,19; Luke 23:47; John 8:46; II Corinthians 5:21; Hebrews 4:15; I Peter 1:19; 2:22; I John 3:5*  Jesus was Holy in His nature, and harmless in His daily life.  Christ our Passover was sacrificed for us.  Religion will sell you a bill of goods, but Jesus will give you free eternal through faith in His Blood. Peace and security from the vengeance of divine justice is found behind the Bloody Door.

You need the perfectly innocent Lamb of God; you especially need His Precious Atoning Blood to be applied to your heart's door by the Holy Spirit of God.  God is Holy, and the only Sacrifice that will satisfy His exacting demands is the spotless Lamb of God, the Lord Jesus Christ Himself.  The blood in our body is precious to us because it gives us human life here on earth, but the Blood of Jesus is extremely precious for His Blood freely gives us Eternal Life here on Earth and in Eternity.  Your sins are many and deadly; you need God's mercy and blood immediately.

God required a lamb in the Garden of Eden.  Abel brought a lamb for his sins, and he was accepted.  We all need the Lamb of Glory to be accepted in the Beloved.  God so loved us, that He gave to us what He required at the Cross.  Jesus never committed one sin His whole earthly life. You can't live sinless for one day, must less a lifetime.  We're all in a mess; we all need the Savior.  God gives you an ultimatum, either trust His Son's Blood and go to Heaven, or trust yourself and go on to Hell where we all belong in the first place.  If you are placing a speck of trust in yourself right now, you are lost and undone.  You can only escape the White Throne Judgment unscathed through the work and wounds of Jesus.  There is no escape from the danger of your guilt and the wrath of God except behind the Bloody Door of Calvary.

The sinless Atoning Sacrifice of Christ Jesus, God manifest in the flesh, is our only refuge from the coming destroyer.  God provided a ram instead of Isaac; He provided a lamb for each household in Egypt; He provided a lamb for the entire nation of Israel on the Day of Atonement; and then the LORD provided the Lamb of God for the entire world on Calvary's Cross.  Behold the Lamb of God which taketh away the sin of the world. *I John 2:2* Any soul that wants to safely meet God must come through the blood of the Lamb.  *Revelation 5:9* Jesus through the eternal Spirit offered Himself up as an Atonement without spot to God for your sins.  It took blood in Exodus 12 to turn the wrath of God away from each house, and it still takes Blood to turn God's wrath away from your sinful soul.  The Precious Blood mark must be on your soul, or you will not be spared from the judgment to come.

You must personally shelter yourself behind the Bloody Door of Calvary.  Jesus said, "I am the Door: by Me if man enter in, he shall be saved." *John 10:9* The Door went to the Cross and shed His Blood for your sins.  Come to Calvary now, look to the Lamb of God, enter into the Bloody Door by Faith in Jesus Himself. Be still, listen to the still, small voice of the Holy Spirit.  Repent, turn from your love of sin, and come unto Jesus, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and He will give you rest.  Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners.  Calmly and safely rest behind the Bloody Door.  There is no where else for you to hide for God's divine justice.  Christ died for the ungodly.  Adam's coat of skin, Abel's lamb, were Abraham's ram all a picture of the true Lamb of God who came into this world to died for His enemies.  Jesus bore my sins, He became Sin for me, He drank all the wrath of God which was poured out on Him because of my sins against God.

Right now, stop trusting your own self-goodness altogether, and trust only to what Jesus did for you. Come now and hide yourself behind the Bloody Door at once, and then feast on the goodness of Christ Jesus all the days of your life, and persuade other precious souls to come and hide behind the Bloody Door called JESUS.  Your personal faith in the atoning blood of the Lamb of God will do the job, and nothing else will.  Much more then, being now justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath though Him. *Romans 5:9*  Lord Jesus, thank you for your bloody death on the Cross for my ungodly soul.

How Can I Get Rid of My Sins?

Once upon a time, there was a little boy who had a lot of marbles, beautiful ones, and his sister had a lot of candy. And one day he says to her, "You know, I like that candy of yours, and it's a lot of candy, but I have a lot of marbles. Can we make a trade? I'll give you all my marbles, if you'll give me all your candy." She thought about it for a second, and then she said, "OK, I love your marbles, you have a deal. You give me all your marbles, and I'll give you all my candy."

So she went back into her room and put all her candies into one bag. The brother went back into his room, and saw all his marbles lying there on his bed, and then he saw a few of his beauties, and said to himself, "How can I give those up?"  So he hides his beauties under his pillow, and he takes the rest and puts them into a bag, and he goes and makes the trade. She gives him all of the candy, but he gives her *some* of the marbles.

That night the sister sleeps soundly, but the boy is wide awake. Do you know why he cannot sleep? One question is haunting his conscience, as he sucks on a piece of his sister's candy, and admires his beauties in his hand, "Did she give me all of her candy?" Just like this boy, your sin's guilt will continue to haunt you until you come to the Cross and give Jesus Christ *all* your sins. Jesus gave you all He had at the Cross, His very life and blood. You need to come clean with your Maker. Now you must give Jesus *all* your marbles (sins). Don't try to keep your favorite sins from Him. Bring your sinful, undeserving soul to Christ and simply ask Him for His free, complete, and eternal forgiveness. *Romans 3:19*

Only Guilt surrendered to Christ's grace is forgivable. You can be freely justified by Christ's grace through faith in His atoning blood. You are guilty of Guilt. *James 2:10* There is a Cross and only those sinners that understand the heinousness of their Sins cherish that Cross. Men who *love their sins* are blind to the love of the Cross. Jesus was guilty of death because He bore my sins in His own body. My sins deserved death, so Jesus had to die in my place. All sinners must be saved by Blood. Jesus took all your Sins upon Himself and suffered in your place. Jesus endured all the punishment due to your sins on Calvary's Cross. Calvary's Cross is where Love Incarnate (Jesus Christ) was Crucified by your Sin.  The Lord Jesus Christ, the sinless Son of God, all because of His bleeding love, took your sins' penalty, and now He is willing and able to freely forgive all your sins (past, present, and future) for His name's sake.

How can I get rid of my sins? That is the question of questions.  Religion has no answer for this question, but Christ Jesus does.  Unregenerate human nature will not ask this question, because it is comfortable with sin and loves sin.  Only when the Holy Spirit moves within your being will you begin to be troubled about your sinful state.  When you begin to ask this question, you are on the doorstep of Mercy.

The invisible JEHOVAH revealed Himself to sinful mankind at Bethlehem, at Nazareth, at Calvary.  At the Cross, Christ took your sins upon Himself, in face, He actually became Sin, so you could be made the Righteousness of God in Him.  He bore your sins in His own body on the tree.  At the Cross, human sin vanishes away under the atoning blood of Jesus Christ - God manifest in the flesh! *Romans 5:9* Soli Autem Crucis - The Cross Alone!

A Little Truth (3)

The Gospel of Christ is just this - All of mankind is lost in sin.  Every man and woman is dead in sin, and the carnal mind is enmity against the person of God.  The ungodly do not care at all how God feels, or about what God says, or about what God sees or hears. Rejecting and/or neglecting Christ is a hell-deserving crime against Almighty God. Your inward nature is sinful through and through.  The Holy Spirit must move in your life, He must quicken and illuminate your sinful heart and mind, or you will wind up dying in your sins.  The Spirit of God will use the law to revive sin in your heart and mind, that will slowly kill your self-righteousness. *Romans 7:9* The Holy Spirit will first startle you with the realization of the dark depravity surging within your lost soul. With the Holy Spirit's help, you will become alarmed and humbled with your sinfulness. Then the Holy Spirit will show you Christ Jesus, His Precious Blood, and His willingness to receive you in your sinful state.  The Holy Spirit will empty you of self, for all your doings are less than nothing and vanity. The Holy Spirit will enlighten you, dispel your darkness, and then give you joy and peace within.

Your religious sham and game will soon be torn away by the hand of Death, and then you will need a real Savior, true regeneration, the actual forgiveness of sins; not water baptism or sacraments.  You will need Christ Himself, not religion; nothing short of the Lamb of God will do when it comes time for you to die and face Reality and Eternity.  Empty prayer closets, unread Bibles, dry eyes, unwitnessing tongues, ungiving hands are all indicators of mere religious pretenders.  Is your Christianity mere pretense and talk or the work of God the Holy Ghost?  Do you really, honestly think that you are able of yourself sufficient to carry your soul through death and bring your sinful by your merits safely before God's white throne judgment?  Are you a mere religious pretender, or a true possessor of Christ Jesus and Life Eternal?  Have you given up all confidence in yourself?  Have you given up your self-righteousness and love for sinning?  Have you really been born again, that is, regenerated and renewed within by the Holy Spirit?  Is your confidence founded and bottomed on the finished work of Christ Jesus?  You need solid Faith in Christ Jesus, real Repentance on account of sin, and true relations with the Son of God.

The CREATOR became a human being in the person of Jesus of Nazareth in order to save sinners.  The Great Savior came from Heaven to save His enemies from sin, He is preeminently and exclusively the sinner's Savior, He has no equal, He is unsurpassed, He has no superior, He is Life and Immortality.  The Son of man is come to seek and save that which was lost.  Out of infinite love to Hs enemies, the Son of God took upon Himself human flesh, that He might suffer what sinners ought to have suffered for their sins.  The King of Glory bled and died for me; He laid dead three days in the grave for me; He stooped from glory to be spit upon by sinful lips, and to be despised and rejected of men.

The Son of God stooped from Heaven for your lost soul.  He stooped to become a friend to Adam's fallen race, to die for sinful men.  His stoop was from the highest throne in glory to the Cross of deepest shame.  JESUS stooped from the Godhead to manhood, from the throne of Heaven to the manger of Bethlehem.  There is nothing spiritually good whatsoever in any man by nature.  This is what you need most - Redemption by Precious Blood, God Incarnate's Blood Atonement, vital godliness, practical purity, real heart work, the divine operations of the Holy Spirit in the inward parts, heart knowledge of Christ, personal spiritual fellowship with the Holy Spirit.  The message of the Cross is simply this - Full Atonement was made for human sin by the bloody death of God manifest in the flesh, Christ Jesus Himself.

Simple confidence fixed in the Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ bring life eternal to your soul.  Pardon me, but my fixation is on the Precious Blood of God manifest in the flesh.  Faith in Christ Jesus is the heartbeat of a Christian.   Let your confidence be fixed alone upon what Jesus suffered for sinners upon the Cross of Calvary.  Receiving Christ Himself into your inner most being changes your character and makes you a new man to the praise and glory of God.  This is saving Faith - Believe with all thine heart that God was in Christ reconciling the world unto Himself, turning to and trusting God in human flesh (Christ Jesus), and resting in Him with your entire confidence.  That Faith justifies your soul in the sight of God instantly and forever.  Real Faith deals directly with the person and blood of Christ, trusts to His promises, looks alone to Him for all your Salvation.

Take Jesus now to be your own Trust and Confidence.  Down with everything else, and up with the Cross of Christ - the suffering, bleeding, dying Incarnate Creator.  Lord Jesus, I come directly to You, nothing but your Righteousness and Blood do I rely upon, please wash my sinful soul clean, nothing but your Precious Blood is my Confidence; I give my soul over to You for safekeeping.  Away with self, cling to Christ Jesus; down with self-confidence, up with simple faith in the Lamb of God.  Simple confidence in the perfect finished work of the Precious Redeemer.  The sum and substance of your confidence must be the person and blood of the Son of God.  Lord Jesus, thank you for your bloody death on the Cross for my ungodly soul.  Soli Autem Crucis!

The Tender Grapes

Childlike faith in the person of Jesus is of vital importance.  The Precious Blood of the Lamb of God puts our sins to death and our fears to rest. Leave all other trusts, trust only to Jesus Himself, give up your self-righteousness, leave your vain religiousness, forsake all ways and modes of self-salvation, come to the Cross, trust entirely to Christ Jesus' sin-forgiving Blood.  Faith in God Incarnate's Blood is the most important matter which is vital to your soul's eternal interests.  Faith, the actual coming to Jesus by believing on His name and blood, is the vital point to press upon men's minds.

Humbly ask the Lord Jesus daily to make you sensitive to His desires and will.  Jesus was peculiarly sensitive when He came into any contact with sin, and so should we.  Sin is the source of wretchedness and misery.  Sin pains the heart of the born again Christian.  As we grow in grace, we become delicately sensitive to every form of sin.  As a man traversing a forest filled with briars and thorns whose flesh is pricked and torn; we should have a painful sensitiveness to evil of sin as we travel through this world.  Have a gracious tenderness toward the sorrow of others.  The tender grape gives a good smell.  Regenerate souls have sensitive minds toward words wrongly spoken, evil thoughts, and unclean desires.  The renewed mind dreads the horror of sin and shudders inwardly at the very thought of sin.

Sin is a deadly poison; a saved man with the mind of Christ abhors the very odor of sin. We should ask the Holy Spirit to cultivate within us a living, sensitive, warm, thankful, pure, sincere, tender, gracious heart.  The saved soul is sensitive to Eternity, to divine love, to gratitude, to grieving the Holy Spirit.  We should have pity toward others, a sensitive conscience, and be sensitive toward the things of God, to the summons and warnings of the Holy Spirit, to the word and will of God. I am nothing, but Christ Jesus is everything; a mass of sin in myself, but accepted in the Beloved for Jesus' sake.

O Holy Spirit, please move in my heart and quicken Thou me.  Seek the words of God and the inward working of the Holy Spirit.  Know the value of men's souls, become tender and sensitive to the faintest motions of the Holy Spirit.  Be a tree planted and rooted deeply in Jesus' love and bearing fruit through the Spirit, not just a religious leaf tossed to and fro in the wind. Believe on Jesus, and then behave in the Spirit. Ask God for a sensitive heart that can be moved to shame for sinning, to repentance, to abhorring sin, to abstaining from the appearance of evil.  Always be desiring, seeking, panting, and longing after God.  The teachable heart is willing to be led, changed, governed by the divine will of God.  Inward purity, sincere piety, and outward godliness is the fruit of the Spirit. We must remain sensitive to the Holy Spirit, or we shall lose the delights of communion with Him.

We should be like sensitive plants that close up at the touch of sin, and open out in the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ.  Be sensitive to receive the impressions of the Holy Spirit, so that on your heart will be stamped the mind and will of Christ.  New converts have fervor, simplicity, sincerity, and a childlike confidence in the Lamb of God.  Forgetting Christ takes away the strength of our Christianity.  Through the help of the Holy Spirit, seek close and vital union with Christ Jesus, live upon Him daily and continually.  Love God with all your heart, trust to His Son with all your confidence, give to Him all the glory due unto His name.  Lord Jesus, please show me what You would have me do today.  Christ is All!  Your gratitude should compel you to do everything to the glory of Jesus.  We need a tender spiritual sensitiveness that shrinks with horror at the presence of evil.  We need to maintain personal, actual communion with the Holy Spirit. Be sensitive to the divine workings of the Holy Spirit in your heart and mind.

True Christianity deals directly with the person of the living Redeemer.  Do all in word and deed in the name of the Lord Jesus, drawing all your spiritual energy from Him.  Real grace results in true godliness.  Christianity is most effective and useful when it is most full of Christ Jesus.  We are most practical and useful when we are nearest to Jesus. Inward working faith from the Holy Spirit is the energy within us that perfects our walk with God.  Be thankful, be gracious, love one another, listen closely to the words of God, do as the Spirit bids you, and have faith in Jesus. Be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

A Little Truth (2)

Does any of your Salvation depend upon your good behavior?  If it does, you are lost for sure.   What think ye of Christ?  Jesus came down here to Earth in order to meet the real, pressing, vital needs and wants of every sinner's heart, mind and soul.  Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; He was made to be Sin for us, that we might be made the Righteousness of God in Him through faith in His atoning blood; that though He was Just, He was treated like the worst sinner ever, and in our place, He suffered the wrath of God that was due to our souls - that is the vital part of the Gospel message.

Fix your dependence and reliance upon the sin-forgiving Savior, immediate Salvation is available by precious faith in the precious blood of the precious Savior.  Faith in God Incarnate's Precious Blood is the vital point.  Christ died for the ungodly; He is able to save unto the uttermost all them come unto God by Him. The Precious Blood of Jesus, God's dear Son, cleanseth us from all sin.  You cannot help yourself spiritually, lean with entire dependence on Jesus.

Unregenerate human nature seeks to draw attention to itself, and to exalt anything and anyone but the Lord Jesus Christ.  The divine nature implanted into the heart when you are born again by the work of the Holy Spirit will lead you to deny yourself and draw attention to Christ Jesus and the Cross, and to exalt the Lamb of God.   Faith is an act of reliance upon Christ's great Atoning Sacrifice for sinners on Calvary's Cross.  The only way to satisfy physical hunger is to eat bread, and the only way to satisfy spiritual hunger is to receive Christ Jesus, the Bread of Life, by faith.

Come to the Cross now; come guilty, helpless, depending entirely upon Christ's mercy and divine strength.  We are lost in the first Adam's unrighteousness, and we must be saved through the second Adam's Righteousness.  Guilty sinner, look now to the Redeemer, trust to His finished work, and find pardon, mercy, Eternal Life, and Heaven in Jesus.  My God, I have offended You, have mercy upon me for Jesus' sake; I have followed my own will, please forgive me; change my heart, give me the Holy Spirit.  I have no merits of my own, you have freely given Jesus to die for sinners.  O God, I am a sinner indeed, I place childlike trust in Jesus now, save my guilty soul for Jesus' sake.

The work of the Holy Spirit - patient waiting upon Christ, heart searching with supplication and communion with childlike dependence upon Jesus, firm adhesion to the truth of the Scriptures, ardent love to the person of Jesus, an abiding in Jesus through thick and thin, abounding in good works for Jesus' sake alone, forsaking every falsehood and vice.  Live continually at the foot of the Cross, look up to Jesus, find all your hope in Him, and none in yourself.   Are you sensitive towards the Holy Spirit?  Right now, ask God to give more and more tenderness of spirit, so you can sense the Holy Spirit's working and operation.  Secret prayer, private reading of the word of God, meditation to get the essence and spirit of the Scriptures, vital contact with Christ, communion of the soul in secret with the living God.  We desperately need the operation and influence of the Holy Ghost at the root of our lives.

God Knows What You're Up To

America's worst enemy today is not Barack Obama, Iran, China, Nancy Pelosi, North Korea, Harry Reid, or Russia; it is God Almighty, the God of The Holy Bible, that is, JEHOVAH JESUS. You see, the majority of Americans don't believe they are accountable to God in time or Eternity. If they did, they wouldn't think, talk, and act the way they do. There is no fear of God in America any more. America no longer respects or honors God. America doesn't care what God sees or hears or feels about anything.  That's the real problem in America.

Human nature is constantly trying to find any way to escape from Reality (guilty conscience, Christ Jesus, Death, Eternity, Judgment, etc.) through amusements (sports, smart phones, television, internet), and alcohol and prescription or illegal drugs.  Human nature seeks the keep the mind fixed on anything but the Holy Bible and the Person and Blood of Jesus Christ.  "Health"care will never save from the inevitable - Death.  Here are five words that frighten the mind of every atheist and religionist - Infirmity, Frailty, Mortality, Reality, Eternity.

Do you love darkness?  Men love darkness rather than light, because their deeds are evil. *John 3:19-20*  Human nature innately loves immoral filth.  Are you the kind of person that can't wait for the sun to go down, so you can enjoy your sinful pleasures one more time?  If you love your sins, you will wind up Hell.  You are chock-full of sin and in desperate need of the Savior's blood and mercy.  If you are tired of your sins, come to Calvary's Cross. A real Christian fights and struggles with his sins. Prepare to meet God - Reality is just over the hilltop.

People no longer think that when they die, that God is going to catch up with them. They believe that God will have to accept them no matter what they believe.  They think that they can reject Christ and still enjoy Eternity.  They don't think God knows what they are doing.  America children, teenagers, and adults no longer think that God knows what they're doing when no one else is looking.  If you mess around with sin, you're going to get what you want, plus a little extra.   If you really believed God knew what you were doing all the time, you would be more careful about how you acted in public and in private. Every man without Jesus Christ is going straight to Hell, and if you're not careful, you're going to make it. Your sins deserve eternal Hell Fire, and if you die unregenerate in your sins, you've got Hell coming, that's for sure.

God knows everything that goes on behind closed doors. It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the Judgment. But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of Judgment.  For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.  One day every man will be judged by Jesus Christ, the Judge of all the earth.  God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to the Gospel (Romans 2:16). The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good (Proverbs 15:3). Destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity. No man can hide himself in secret places where God shall not see him (Jeremiah 23:24).

If you died tonight and had to face the record for what you had thought in just the last 48 hours, you would be in a real mess. If you don't think you have dirty and judgmental thoughts, you're just as dishonest as the devil. If everything you had thought in the last year was put out on a screen in public for all your family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers to see, you would want to run and hide or leave town. You have a guilty conscience, you know you've done wrong, you need Someone to protect you from the wrath to come. Only Christ's Atoning Blood can avert the wrath of God from your guilty soul.

If you sin against a Holy Being that lives forever, you won't quit paying for that sin until the day God dies. As long as God lives, you will have to pay for your sins in the Lake of Fire; that is called eternal retribution. Jesus of Nazareth was God Almighty in the flesh; your sins killed Him; this is called Deicide. Sin is high treason against the Majesty of the Universe.

God is your Creator, you are His property, and you have stolen your life from him. A thief is someone that takes something and doesn't leave an adequate return. You will go to Hell for what you didn't do - a sinner goes to Hell because he rejects the Cure for his sins - Christ's Precious Atoning Blood. When you reject Christ, you are hopeless.  People say, "I don't have the right feeling; I don't think I'll be able to live it; they are too many hypocrites in the church." You don't go to Hell because your soul is sick with sin, you end up going to Hell, because you reject the only cure for your sin. That's your problem Sir.

The LORD searches you and knows you every day. He knows when you sit down and when you stand up, He numbers your steps, He numbers the hairs on your head, He understands every one of your thoughts, He surrounds your path and your lying down, He is acquainted with all your ways. There is not a word in your tongue that God does not know altogether. You cannot flee from God's presence. God knows the imaginations of all your thoughts. God knows every thought that comes into your mind, every one of them. You've never put your hand any place that God didn't know it. Are you ready to have your secrets judged by a thrice-holy God?

Most people believe that when you die, you will meet God, and He will place your good works on one side of a scale, and your sins on the other side of a scale, and if your sins outweigh your good works you'll go to Hell, and if your good works outweigh your sins, you'll go to Heaven, and if they come out in the middle, you go to purgatory or some other place of limbo some religionist dreamed up. Wrong!

The way the Judgment will happen according to the Holy Bible, that is, God will place you on one side of the scale, and His Son Jesus Christ on the other side of the scale, and then he will weigh you both out. And if you don't weigh EVEN with Jesus Christ, down you will go into the Lake of Fire. The Standard is Jesus Christ, not your religion or good works. Some day soon God is going to judge you by a Perfect Man that bled and died in your place. Because God hath appointed a day, in the which He will judge the world in Righteousness *by that Man* whom He hath ordained; whereof God hath given assurance unto all men, in that He hath raised the Lord Jesus Christ from the dead. You're going to die, you're going to be judged, and you will be judged by a perfect moral Standard, and that Standard is a Sinless Man who loved you and gave Himself for your sins.

If any other man judged you, you wouldn't have a problem, because you could find as much wrong with him as he could find wrong with you. You can pick holes in any man's character, including Muhammed, Buddha, any Pope, the Dalai Lama, Joseph Smith, and all the rest of them. But listen, the Holy Bible says that one day in the future, God is going to judge you by a Perfect Man - His name is Jesus Christ. Jesus never had to confess a sin, He never had to correct what He said, He never had to apologize to anyone for anything. Jesus Christ is the holy Standard. God knows what you're doing. Men are afraid of the ridicule that they might receive if they trust and follow Jesus Christ in this life. Men are scared of the wrong things. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.

The Creator is going to settle accounts with every man. Be wise - don't try to justify yourself before God. You need to plead - No Contest. You need to turn your case completely over to the Advocate - Jesus Christ the Righteous. You might think you're tough down here, but not at the Judgment. God is a bookkeeper, and He is writing a book about everything in your life. All the books will be opened, including yours, at the White Throne Judgment. Man looks on the outward appearance, but God looks on the heart. Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil. God knows what you're thinking, saying, and doing all the time (Psalm 139:1-8).

Nothing ever escapes the attention of God; either at home; or at work; or at worship; or at play; or on vacation; or while spending money; or while surfing the internet; or on business trips - nothing in thought, word, or deed, in private or public. The eyes of the Lord are in every place, BEHOLDING the evil and the good. Thou God seest 'me'. This Biblical truth alarms all atheists and religionists.

For God’s eyes are upon all your ways: they are not hid from His face, neither is your iniquity hid from His eyes (Jer 16:17). The Lord is great in counsel, and mighty in work: for God’s eyes are open upon all the ways of the sons of men: to give every one according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings (Jer 32:19). How much more abominable and filthy is man, which drinketh iniquity like water? (Job 15:16). For thy heart is not right in the sight of God (Acts 8:21).

Can any [sinner] hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the Lord. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the Lord (Jer 23:24). But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord (Gen 6:8). For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew Himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward Him. (II Chron 16:9).  For God’s eyes are upon the ways of man, and He seeth all your goings. There is no darkness, nor shadow of death, where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves (Job 34:21-22).  Are a worker of iniquity or a worker of righteousness?  As long as you neglect and reject Jesus Christ, everything you will ever do is a work of iniquity, even when you think you are being a good guy by giving some of your money or time to some community organization.

God numbers your steps: and He watches over your sin (Job 14:16). God shall judge the 'secrets' of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel. (Romans 2:16). Until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts (I Cor 4:5). For God looketh to the ends of the earth, and seeth under the whole heaven (Job 28:24). Every one of us shall give account of himself to God (Romans 14:12). Why dost thou strive against God? for He giveth not account of any of His matters (Job 33:13).

Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! (Isaiah 45:9) But we have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God (II Cor 4:2). Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in God’s sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of Him with whom we have to do (Heb 4:13).

Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the Lord pondereth the hearts (Prov 21:2). If thou sayest, Behold, we knew it not; doth not He that pondereth the heart consider it? and He that keepeth thy soul, doth not He know it? and shall not he render to every man according to his works? (Prov 24:12). And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth (Gen 6:12).

For the ways of man are before the eyes of the Lord, and He pondereth ALL his goings (Prov 5:21). God withdraweth not his eyes from the righteous (Job 36:7). Sanctify the Lord of hosts himself; and let him be your fear, and let Him be your dread (Isaiah 8:13). The Lord is in his holy temple, the Lord's throne is in heaven: His eyes behold, His eyelids try, the children of men (Psalm 11:4). The eyes of the Lord, run to and fro through the whole earth (Zech 4:10). Wherefore hast thou despised the commandment of the Lord, to do evil in His sight? (II Sam 12:9).

Lord, thou hast set our iniquities before Thee, our secret sins in the light of Thy countenance (Psalm 90:8). Shall not God search this out? for He knoweth the secrets of the heart (Psalm 44:21). And the mean man shall be brought down, and the mighty man shall be humbled, and the eyes of the lofty shall be humbled: But the Lord of hosts shall be exalted in judgment, and God that is holy shall be sanctified in Righteousness (Isaiah 5:15-16).

Always Watching and Listening

Nothing ever escapes the attention of God; either at home; or at work; or at worship; or at play; or on vacation; or while spending money; or while surfing the internet; or on business trips - nothing in thought, word, or deed, in private or public. The eyes of the Lord are in every place, beholding the evil and the good. Thou God seest me. This truth alarms the atheist; his defiled conscience and sinful past still haunt him from time to time.  Many people are loyal to their church on Wednesday and Sunday, but not to God the other days of the week. Jesus said, "If ye love Me, keep My commandments."

For God’s eyes are upon all your ways: they are not hid from His face, neither is your iniquity hid from His eyes (Jer 16:17).  He that planted the ear, shall He not hear?  He that formed the eye, shall He not see?  (Psalm 94:9) The Lord is great in counsel, and mighty in work: for God’s eyes are open upon all the ways of the sons of men: to give every one according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings (Jer 32:19). For God’s eyes are upon the ways of man, and He seeth all your goings. There is no darkness, nor shadow of death, where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves (Job 34:21-22).

Remember, nothing ever escapes the attention of your Crucified and Risen Creator (John 1:48).

He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? he that formed the eye, shall he not see?

Walking in the Spirit

If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.  Christ died for the ungodly.  The ungodly live their lives independently and disconnected from the Lord Jesus Christ walking according to the course of this world.  The ungodly do not care how their thoughts, speech and actions may offend the Creator.  The ungodly man is not disturbed one bit when he grieves the Holy Spirit with his thought life, decisions or conduct.

When we desire to walk in the Spirit, we become more concerned about offending the LORD in any way, just like we would fear to offend our spouse, parent or best friend.  We should ask the LORD to make us more and more sensitive to the Holy Spirit; so we can detect His still, small voice and to be able to recognize the Spirit's faintest promptings, summons and warnings.  We should remain conscious and maintain a keen resolve to walk in the Spirit and be obedient to His guidance.

The Holy Spirit's work will make us peculiarly and delicately sensitive to any contact with sin.  Sin always begins in the thought life and is the source of wretchedness and misery.  Sin should pain our heart and conscience.  As we grow in grace we develop a painful sensitiveness to the evil of sin, and also a gracious tenderness toward the sorrow of those around us.  Regenerated souls have sensitive minds when it comes to evil thoughts, unclean desires, words wrongly spoken, and inappropriate behaviour.

Walk in fellowship with the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.  The saved soul which is influenced by the Spirit has a growing sensitivity to divine love, to gratitude, to Eternity, to Repentance, to abhorring sin, to knowing the value of men's souls, to grieving the Holy Spirit, and to showing pity toward others.  The quickened conscience is sensitive concerning the things of God, to the summons and warnings of the Holy Spirit, to the words and will of God.  We must be continually seeking the words of God and the vital, inward working of the Holy Ghost.  The Spirit-led soul has a teachable heart which is willing to be guided, molded and changed by the divine will of God.  If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

A Little Truth (1)

We must declare the simplicity of the Gospel in plain English.  Simply have done with all reliance upon yourself, that is, have done with confidence in anything but the Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and rest alone with undivided confidence in Him, and in what He has done. Rely with all you have upon the finished work of the crucified and risen Savior of the world.  The atoning blood of Jesus is still a sinner's only hope.  The great object of God the Father is to glory His dear Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, and God glorifies His Son by having mercy upon sinners.  Simply rely and depend upon the Precious Blood of the Lamb, that is all.  Human guilt deserves condemnation, and sin-loving rebellion demands punishment.  Don't dare try to add to the Blood or Jesus Christ, or you are sinning against His all sufficient sacrifice, and damn your own soul.

Self-righteousness, self-salvation, superstition, idolatry, the love of sin, and rebellion against God is deeply ingrained in human nature.  Humbly receive the mercy of God through the bloody sacrifice of Christ Jesus by simply depending on Him.  Saving faith is only wrought by the Holy Ghost.  The first indicator of true Bible faith is when a man gives himself up entirely to Christ Jesus and lies back and rests on Him alone for all his salvation.  Bring no good works, efforts, or merits to Jesus by way of recommendation.  Trust entirely to Jesus, cast your soul upon the eternal merits of the great Substitute who suffered on account of your sins when He was nailed to Calvary.

Have done with your self-righteous working and come to the Cross trusting.  Saving faith believes what God has revealed in Scripture concerning Christ Jesus, God manifest in the flesh.  Faith believes that Jesus was God's Son, that God sent Jesus into the world to save sinners, and that He became the Substitute to divine justice for all sinners.  Here I stand as a sinner guilty before God, and confess that I deserve to die and go straight to Hell for sins; but The Lamb of God which was slain represents in His sufferings and blood what my sins deserved from God.  Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; I am a sinner for sure; Jesus died for me, I trust to Him, He is my Substitute, I am depending only upon Him to save my guilty soul,  and now I am clear before God.  God's divine justice cannot condemn me to eternal death, because Jesus has already suffered death for me.  Saving faith first receives the scriptural truths of God, and then focuses on the person and work of the Lord Jesus Christ, and then places implicit reliance upon the Righteousness and Blood of the Lamb of God.

Christ Jesus the Lord honestly followed, obeyed and served in simplicity, without show or form.  Eternal life is only given freely sinners who receive Christ Jesus by an act of simple faith in His precious blood.  Please do not bring anything with you to the Blood of the Cross, such as human merit or preparation; only bring your sins with you to the Cross, and nothing else.  You don't do or give at the Cross, you only take and receive.  There is absolutely nothing for you to do or to be in order to receive the free forgiveness os sins.  You can immediately obtain all the merits Christ's great Blood Atonement of Calvary by a childlike faith in that Atonement.

After you are born again, cultivate simplicity and sincerity in all you do for the Lord Jesus.  When you meditate upon the Lamb of God, you are occupying your mind with the grandest subject of thought in the universe.
