Bid Farewell to Your Sins

Say farewell to the sins you've loved so long. You've played the fool exceedingly by sinning against your Merciful Maker. Sin will never bring you any real benefit. Doing wrong will never work for your health or happiness. You will never be bettered by envy, hate, greed, lust, and folly. Sin never profits your inner self to anything good. Each hour of sin brings its hardness and its difficulty of change. Don't be so unwise as to play with sin. Sin will always deceive and destroy you, it will never improve your life, and you know it. Men can't sense the deadly and evil nature of their sins without the help of the Holy Ghost. Don't go further on in your sins. Sin will only lead you into a barren and howling wilderness that ends up in Hell. You have a lingering love for the far country called "Sin". The longer you neglect Christ, it will become more and more difficult for your old habits of sin to be given up. Sin earns you nothing but misery, death and damnation. Sin is a dark slavery which brings terrible wages with it here in time and out in Eternity. Only Jesus can rescue you out of your slavery to sin. You cannot set yourself free from sin, and you cannot give yourself eternal life. No one can change you within but the Lord Jesus Christ Himself.

Don't continue to love the sins which are abominable to God. Sin will only injure and damage you, and all for nothing. Your best doings are only your undoing. See your folly and repent of it now. Eternal life can never be gained by human merit, but only by the free gift of the love of God. Going to the Cross is like going to the dentist, it's going to hurt your Pride, but you have to go anyway. You cannot be saved by any of your works. Nothing you can do can ever deserve God's free mercy. God only delights in His mercy for Jesus' sake. Salvation must be the Free Gift of God. God will pardon a guilty sinner on these lines: The first thing is Faith. You must believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God - The Lord's Christ crucified for sinners. You must believe that Jesus bled and died to pay the full ransom price for your sins with His own blood on the Cross. You must acknowledge and believe in thine heart the God hath raised Jesus from the dead and He is alive for evermore. You must trust yourself wholly, simply, heartily, once for all, with the Crucified and Risen Redeemer. Whosoever believeth in *HIM* hath everlasting life. Go at once and plead that at Jesus' feet.

Be wise - Unfeignedly repent of your sins. Ask God to change your mind totally about your sins. There must be a hearty loathing, a giving up, a forsaking of your darling sins. Do not deceive yourself, you cannot be saved IN your sins, Jesus must save you FROM your sins. You and your sin must part. Strive to give up your sins, turn from every false thought and way. You must abhor your sins, and flee from them, or your sins will be your ruin and damn you. Believe in the power of God's words, Turn from your Self, Repent of your Pride, Submit to Christ Himself! Confess and forsake your selfishness. God has not met with you, if you go on in your sins and rebellion. As you sin against more light and knowledge, your heart becomes harder and your sins grow blacker. Jesus wants to save you from the slavery of sin. Trust Jesus Christ's Blood, and then begin to war and fight against your sins.

You must be willing to be saved from sin God's way. Submit yourself entirely to God's words and Christ Jesus Himself. The Lord Jesus Christ saves sinners His way, not your way. Jesus will first make you feel the evil, bitterness, danger, and burden of your sins. Be willing to have a divorce from your sins once and for all. Trust the Savior, lean all your weight on Him, repose your whole self on the Man Christ Jesus. Christ alone must delivered you from the slavery and power of your sin. Trust Christ to make you pure, to put away your sins, and change your nature within. You must be saved through what Jesus did on your behalf. God will only have mercy on you for Christ's sake. Jesus has offered up Himself as a sinless bloody Sacrifice for sinners, just like you. Jesus bled to death to redeem lost men, and paid the full ransom price upon the Cross. Don't continue to refuse Christ's blood. Jesus is the sinner's Substitute. Confess, hate, and forsake your sins. In the future out in Eternity, you will rue the day that you rejected Jesus Christ.

Mark it down - When Christ is truly and heartily trusted, your sins will be hated. Till Jesus is your Savior, you are in the utmost danger - in danger of eternal punishment and damnation. Your sins should be hated and avoided. Self is your god, by nature you love what you ought to hate. Gratitude for pardon and sorrow for sins begins at the foot of the Cross. Desire truth in your inward parts, confess your sins with deep contrition. Atonement by Blood, Redemption by Substitution, Justification by Faith - this is the Gospel way. Hate sin, heartily loathe it, thirst to be pure like Christ, hunger to bring glory to His name. Hate your sins, and watch closely for your deceitful tendencies, zealously seek to be true and honest. Jesus died for His enemies so they could be rescued from the slavery and dominion of sin. We only learn to be self-denying and hate sin at the feet of the Crucified One. Lip-love is not real; Heart-love for the Savior leads to us hate our sins indeed. Love Christ in your very soul and spirit and mind. Real practical trust and love to Jesus Himself is what God desires. This is the essence of true Repentance - To confess and be sorry for your sins, to hate and forsake your sins, to wish to escape the slavery and bondage of your sins. Repentance is the spirit of your whole life after conversion to Christ.

Bid farewell to your sins - Be Saved and Reconciled to God through faith in Jesus' blood by the pure mercy of God. Think about your sins - your danger, guilt, and inability. Hate your sins, cry out to JESUS for mercy, believe in Christ Jesus, Trust the Savior's blood and righteousness to cleanse and cover you, forsake your sins, and out of gratitude alone become obedient to Christ's will for your life. Seek God, yield to the Gospel, trust Jesus' Blood Atonement. Your own righteousness cannot deliver you from Sin, but Jesus can. He that hates God and loves sin must be miserable and wretched every day. Any old idol will suit worldly men so long as they can be rid of the living God. Jesus was the bleeding Sufferer, bearing offenses that were not His own, so that His ungodly enemies could be set free from the enslavement and love of their sin. Begin to hate your sins, and fear and please God.

Say farewell to your sins; always be repenting and praising the merciful Savior. Crave fellowship with God, be covetous of His smile, love everything that keeps you to it, and hate everything leads you from it. Rise early to commune with God in His words and in private prayer. You are helpless to break the bonds of your own sins. Only the Holy Ghost can make you conscious of your utter helplessness. Only Christ can rescue you from the rule of evil within you. The words of Christ save, pardon, renew, preserve, sanctify, and perfect the believing soul. The divine Law of God drives the ruined sinner to the Cross for mercy. You have no righteousness of your own at all. You must be Perfect in thought, word, and deed to gain Heaven without Christ's Righteousness (Romans 10:3-4). Your chief need is Christ's Righteousness. The Person and Finished Work of the God-man Jesus Christ is your only hope of escaping Hell. He was perfectly Righteous all of His life, and kept ALL the Law that you cannot keep. He died on the Cross and took the punishment that you justly deserve. In Christ, the sinner is made Perfect in God's sight, and Jesus gets ALL THE CREDIT AND GLORY for being Righteous, not you. Crave the forgiveness of sins, you require a radical change of heart and nature within.

The natural man resents the Scriptures, because they reprove his secret sins. The self-righteous man loathes and detests the Reprover, and he rejects the Righteous Savior. By nature you want to live and think any way you want to. Man has his own self-made laws, rules, guidelines, and principles: What makes me feels good? What makes me happy? What pleases me? This is the carnal mind's thoughts. Your conscience must be guided by the words of God, just as a ship is guided by a compass and magnetic north. Magnetic north never changes, and neither do the words of God. The tolerance of sin, is Sin. Does any of your salvation rest on your works? If so, you are currently lost in your sins and on the broad highway to Hell. Your self-efforts can never help justify or sanctify your sinful soul. You see - the more unfit you feel yourself to be, the more you are invited to come to the Cross. If you will only be willing: Jesus, the Friend of sinners, will give you a hearty welcome at the Cross and supply everything your empty soul needs. Come to the Cross now, and bid farewell to your sins.

Allah Akbar?

"Allah Akbar" means "God is great" or "Allah is the greatest." The Arabic name for this phrase is "takbeer." "Allah Akbar" is a phrase used by Muslims to praise Allah. This phrase is found on the current flags of Afghanistan, Iraq, and Iran.  Eventually, all the countries that have the "Shahada" and "Allah Akbar" on their flags will unite against Israel and the USA.  It's just a matter of time.  Why is America helping countries that think Allah is great, and that Muhammad is Allah's prophet?

Oh yeah, and don't forget, every suicidal Islamic terrorist, right before he pulls the cord on his bomb, or flies his plane into a building, screams or chants "ALLAH AKBAR, ALLAH AKBAR, ALLAH AKBAR!" This religious chant is also used before Muslim 'prayer time' at mosques, and of course, while Muhammad's disciples are launching missiles into Israel, and killing defenseless Jewish women and children.

Allah sheds so much love in the hearts of his disciples, doesn't he?  The favorite saying of every ISIS Islamic terrorist soldier is "Allah Akbar."  As a matter of fact, ISIS screams "Allah Akbar" while they are beheading innocent people, and raping and pillaging women and children in Syria and Iraq.

"Allah Akbar" is nothing more than a barbaric 'vain repetition' (Matthew 6:7) used by heathen Mohammedans to praise their false moon-god (Hubal).  The new crescent moon found on Islamic flags and on top of almost all Islamic mosque minarets are there to give praise to their moon-god (Hubal), now called Allah.

But Allah is really not that great at all. Allah never became a sinless man and bled, and died, and rose again to atone for the transgressions of ungodly sinners, so they could be saved from the slavery and damnation of human sin.

In the Quran, Allah never had a son at all, and in the Quran, the Lord Jesus Christ was never crucified for sinners, but in the Holy Bible, God had a well-beloved Son named JESUS, and He was virgin born, lived a sinless life, bled and died for sinners on Calvary's Cross, and then three days later, He rose from the dead, and He is still alive today, and will return to Earth.

Allah's son never rose from the dead, so he could give eternal life to sinful wretches, because Allah never had a son according to Muhammed.  Allah's son was never crucified for sinners.  Allah never loved me and gave himself for me, but Christ Jesus the Crucified and Risen Creator did when He died on Calvary's Cross for my sins.  Allah could never ever saved any sinner on the face of the earth from sin, because sinners must be saved by Precious Blood, and Allah has never shed His blood for sinners. When Almighty God (The Lord Jesus Christ) sees His sinless Blood on your soul, only then will His divine justice and wrath pass over you.

Allah is really not great at all, you see, Allah is just another name for Satan - 'the god' of this world.  Allah is not a name at all - "Allah" only means "the god." Read II Corinthians 4:4 in the King James Bible to find out the real Allah, Satan is 'the god' of this present evil world.  Satan is worshipped through many religions today.  Satan is also given worship every day through the religion of Islam through another name - "Allah".  If you are not worshipping the Lord Jesus Christ, you are worshipping something else that Satan is has concocted to distract and decoy you.

Allah's so-called prophet, Muhammad, was a sex-obsessed, fornicating egomaniac who had a nine-year-old wife and believed that Satan slept in his nose at night.  Now understand, the Lord Jesus Christ is the GREAT GOD, He is the one and only Creator, Redeemer, King of kings and Lord of lords. He is the Maker and Ruler of the whole universe (See Deuteronomy 10:17; I Timothy 6:15; Titus 2:13; Psalm 95:3; Revelation 17:14; 19:16; Jeremiah 32:18; Isa 9:16). God was only manifest in the flesh one time in human history; He became a Jewish man called Jesus of Nazareth!

Too Good To Be True (2)

Every sinner is born a natural rebel with his face turned away from his Maker. He is a criminal; he has broken the law of God and is guilty. He stands stubbornly with his back to the Light, and is going down a dark road, the road which leads to destruction. Man must be converted, that is, he needs to be turned around. He must make an 'about face' towards God (be converted) and look to Christ alone for salvation from SIN. Unless the Spirit of God and the word of God awaken the lost man, he will continue on in his darkness and perish in his sins forever. A man is only justified (freely pardoned and made righteous in the sight of God) by the power of God through faith in the shed blood and righteousness (sinless perfection) of Jesus Christ. God so loved you that He gave His Precious Son to die in your place.

There are millions and millions of sinners, in this world, going the wrong way, and do not know it, and some even believe they are doing God service, when they are actually opposing God and His Son. Some men think they all right in the sight of God; they pray, attend a place of worship, and try to do what's right towards their fellow man. They say, "Well, if I'm not right and going to heaven, I wonder who is; and if I've gone wrong, where must my friends and neighbors be going?" As long as he is still in his sin's blindness, he will see no fault in himself, BUT when the Spirit of God comes to him, and reveals to him the Law of God, then he perceives that he has broken all of the Ten Commandments in the spirit, if not in the letter of them. Even the most moral men tremble when they remember Christ's words in Matt 5:28, "But I say unto you, whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart."

When you come to understand that the Commandments of God not only forbid wrong actions, but also idle words, selfish intents, lustful desires, filthy imaginations, and evil thoughts of the heart. You can commit murder by just hating someone in your heart, or commit adultery by simply lusting after a woman in your imaginations, and you can rob your neighbors by not loving them as you should, or blaspheme God without ever speaking a wicked word. You can break all of the Commandments before you put your clothes on in the morning, for the Bible says in James 2:10, "For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in ONE POINT, he is guilty of all." The Lord Jesus also said, "Every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment."

Only the Spirit of God, through the word of God, can bring home to the sinner's heart these truths, and make a man see that he is in error and in danger; and the Holy Spirit's power alone will cause the man to see there is a terrible precipice right before him called Death and Hell, over which he will fall if he goes on in his stubborn pride, trespasses, and sins. When he finally realizes his sinful condition and senses his peril, he stops, and considers his latter end.

The Word of God tells a sinner that, by the works of the law, he cannot be justified; it tells him that his heart is defiled, that he himself is condemned already, that he is shut up under condemnation for having broken God's law, and says to him that, whatever he may do, or however much he may struggle, if he does not seek salvation in God's way, he will only make his bad condition worse, and be like a drowning man, who sinks the faster the more he struggles.

Christ died for the ungodly, not for good people. Your sin deserves punishment. God has laid that punishment upon His only-begotten Son; and, therefore, He is ready to forgive you freely for Christ's sake, not because of anything good in you, or anything you ever can do, but ENTIRELY of God's free mercy. God bids you trust yourself in the hands of Jesus that He may save you. Come, then, and rely upon what Christ has done, and is still doing for you, and believe in the mercy of God in Christ Jesus, and not in yourself at all.

The Word of the Lord with the power of the Holy Spirit helps the sinner to believe. The self-righteous man is quite startled at the idea of free salvation - instantaneous pardon - the full blotting out of sin - ALL FOR NOTHING - a pardon for the worst and vilest freely given, and given now this moment. But Mr. Do-Gooder says, "Surely, this is too good to be true!" He thinks he must add his works. He is filled with amazement, for God's thoughts are as high above him, as the heavens are above the earth. The word of God says to him, "Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow.

The simple story of the Lamb of God dying on the cross for his sins and rising again from the dead melts his heart and persuades his stubborn will. The Spirit of God applies the precious promises and gracious invitations to his soul, and the sinner responds, "I can and I do believe in Jesus. Lord, I do gladly accept your pardoning mercy. I look unto Christ who was nailed to the cross, and I find in Him the cure for the serpent-bites of sin. I do and I will trust in Jesus and commit my soul's eternal safety unto Him. Then, the word of God converts his soul through the power of the Holy Spirit, and helps the man to repent of his dead works and believe implicitly in Christ Jesus' shed blood and righteousness. God be merciful to me a sinner, please wash my sins away in the precious blood of the living Christ, right now.

I AM THE

Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to Me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on Me shall never thirst. I am the bread which came down from heaven. I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world. Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth Me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. I am the door: by Me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine. Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God? Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in Me, though he were dead, yet shall he live. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me. I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in Me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without *ME* ye can do nothing. Fear not; I am the first and the last. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.

And the high priest stood up in the midst, and asked Jesus, saying, Answerest thou nothing? what is it which these witness against thee? But Jesus held his peace, and answered nothing. Again the high priest asked Him, and said unto Him, Art thou the Christ, the Son of the Blessed? And Jesus said, *I am*: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven. Then the high priest rent his clothes, and saith, What need we any further witnesses? Ye have heard the blasphemy: what think ye? And they all condemned Jesus to be guilty of death. And some began to spit on Him, and to cover His face, and to buffet Him, and to say unto Him, Prophesy: and the servants did strike Him with the palms of their hands.

Any Man

All things are delivered unto Me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal the Father. Then said Jesus unto His disciples, If any man will come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. If any man have ears to hear, let him hear. If any man desire to be first, the same shall be last of all, and servant of all. And Jesus said to them all, If any man will come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me. If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple.

Jesus said, I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is My flesh, which I will give for the life of the world. If any man will do God's will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself. In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto Me, and drink. I am the door: by Me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. If any man serve Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there shall also My servant be: if any man serve Me, him will My Father honour.

Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. If any man think that he knoweth any thing, he knoweth nothing yet as he ought to know. But if any man love God, the same is known of him. But if any man be ignorant, let him be ignorant. If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maranatha. Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.

If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain. For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body. If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf. My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the Righteous. Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear My voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with Me. If any man have an ear, let him hear.

I Am Not Ashamed

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto Salvation to every sinner that believeth. As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. Every mouth shall be stopped, and all the world shall become guilty before God. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil. Every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. Every one of us shall give account of himself to God at the Judgment of the great day. By the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in God's sight: for by the Law is the knowledge of sin. Moreover the Law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful. The carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by God's grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a Propitiation through faith in Jesus' blood, to declare Christ's righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; To declare, I say, at this time Christ's Righteousness: that God might be just, and the Justifier of every sinner which believeth in Jesus. To the sinner that worketh not, but believeth on Christ Jesus that justifieth the ungodly, that sinner's faith is counted for Righteousness. Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered. Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin. Christ's Righteousness shall be imputed to every sinner who believes on God that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead; Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification. Christ died for the ungodly. God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Much more then, being now justified by Christ's blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him. For if, when we were God's enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of His Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by Christ's life. And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by Whom we have "now" received the Atonement. The natural man is ignorant of God's righteousness, and goes about to establish his own righteousness, and will not submit himself unto the Righteousness of God (Christ Jesus). For Christ is the end of the law for Righteousness to every sinner that believeth.

As by one man (Adam) sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned. For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. God that spared not His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Christ also freely give us all things? If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto Righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto Salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on Christ Jesus shall not be ashamed. Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord Jesus Christ shall be saved.

Please Christ or Sin?

Think about what Sin really is: Sin is a willful rebellion against our Good Omnipotent Creator (The Lord Jesus Christ), and it is an obstinate revolt against the Almighty Himself. You are extremely guilty for committing sins against your Maker. When Christ is trusted and loved, sin is avoided and hated. The dearer Christ is to you, the more sin will be heartily abhorred by you. A sin-hating, self-despising soul is a Christ-loving soul. The man who loves Jesus truly, he hates his sins with all his whole soul. Sin is an awful thing, remember, sin cost Jesus Christ His life, so He could be sin's Forgiver. Christ Jesus is God manifest in the flesh, He died for His enemies so they could be save from the wrath to come. There is no one who can forgive sins save God only, so do not let yourself be deluded into some belief that there is any other Forgiver of human sin in the whole universe but Jesus alone. The Christ rejector is a gross skeptic and vile hater of Christ, but death, judgment, eternity, and reality are just around the corner. Your health will soon fail, prepare to die and meet God. Work-trusters go to Hell, Christ-trusters go to Glory. Unbelief and Self-Righteousness are the favorite works of the devil in the Christ rejector. Sin is a delight, and the adoration of Christ is weariness and despised for the natural man.

Think of the evil of your sin, and the consequences of your sin both in this life and in the world to come. Think seriously about dying and facing your Maker at the Judgment. Think of appearing before your Maker covered with all your sin and guilt. Only trusting in Christ's blood will make you really hate your sins, every one of them. If you do not hate every one of your sins, you don't hate any of your sins with all your heart. All your love for sin must go. Your sins must be abhorred, and repented of, and practically avoided and resisted in your life. You should hate yourself for sinning against such a forgiving God. If your sins never distress you, then you don't know Christ as your Savior. Unless you hate your sin, you do not love Christ, and if you hate your sins, you cannot have any peace with them. Sin vexes the Christ-worshipping soul. Sin stings the heart of the man who adores Christ.

When an unregenerate man sins, that sin becomes his, and if he continues in his sins, he will perish and face eternal damnation. Believe on Jesus Christ, trust yourself to Him. Just as you trust your money to a Banker that you've never seen, trust your soul to Jesus Christ by faith in His blood. Jesus' blood is the only remedy for human sin. God will freely forgive you at once, as soon as you trust Christ's blood. Call your sin great, as it really is. Never try to make your sin out to be little. Seek mercy at the Cross - come as a sinner in your true colors. Come now to His blood for cleansing. Jesus Christ is real Savior who offers the real Atonement for your real sins. The very moment you rely on Christ's Finished Work all your sins will be put away and dismissed forever. Trust the Lord Jesus for everything - Commit yourself into His eternal keeping. Christ crucified for sinners, the love of God in Christ Jesus, Salvation by grace through faith in Jesus' blood. Trusting in Jesus Himself, the living God, is the safest thing you can do. You are nothing, Christ is everything, that is it. Be nothing, be nobody, and trust HIM. Don't believe in yourself, but believe IN Jesus. Look only to the merits of Christ Jesus. The moment you do so, your sins are gone forever, Christ's Righteousness is imputed to your soul, and you are saved from power of your sins.

Christians do sin, but they hate sin; they fall into sin, hate themselves for committing sin, but they loathe it and fight against it; and every true child of God can say honestly that there is nothing in this world he dreads so much as to grieve his God. Sin brings the Born Again man inward pangs, deep mourning, and bitter sighs, and he cries, "Oh, wretched man that I am!" The word of the cross delivers us from the love of sin and our evil habits of thought and deed. The Christian may fall into sin, but he mourns over it, and hates his sins, and hatef himself for committing it. Live for God's glory, set the Lord always before you, seek to obey God and please Christ, be God's servant in heart. Always pray for the salt of God's grace to sprinkle everything you do say and do.

The Password to Heaven

You are nothing but a wretched sinner on your very best days, and totally incapable of earning what God will only give to sinners freely. Only handicapped beggars get into Heaven. You must stretch out your empty hand to Christ Jesus as a starving beggar, and receive His great salvation as a Free Gift. The Password to Heaven is "G-R-A-C-E". Come clean with God, and acknowledge that you are handicapped spiritually and take from Christ His free redemption from the slavery of sin. All sinners far and wide are now welcome at the Cross. Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. You must become a recipient of God's free grace. Turn your attention now to the Cross where Jesus died for 'you'. Fix your eyes on the Bleeding Lamb who died for the ungodly. God only shows His lovingkindness to sinners through Sinless Blood for Jesus' sake. You'll never get any better if you stay away from Christ, only worse.

Your life is filled with bad habits, and those vile habits of yours are called sins in the Scriptures. The only thing you really own in this world that you personally earned are your sins. Be alarmed - You are hastening toward a fearful judgment. You are fallen in Sin, and are unable to spiritually walk. You were born spiritually handicapped - you are guilty and undone. You are without strength morally and spiritually. For all have sinned, and come short of the Glory of God. No one ever taught you how to lie, steal, cheat, lust, misbehave, or be dishonest or disrespectful. You are in now abject poverty and bankrupt spiritually.

You are less than nothing in God's sight. You're not good enough to save yourself, and you could never return the favor of God's redeeming grace. Divine Grace condescends to the sinner only at the Cross. It is Exceeding Joy to Jesus to give His free gift of Salvation to helpless sinners (Hebrews 12:2). It is more blessed to Give than to receive. The gift of Grace can never be earned, it must be accepted freely by sinners. You have nothing to offer God, and you have no claim on God's grace. 'Human nature' would never consider receiving the gift of Salvation without trying to earn some portion of it. But the wages of sin is death, and the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. The sinless Christ was nailed and buried in your place. The Gospel of Christ goes against the grain of human nature. There's no such thing as a free lunch, but Eternity is Free, because Jesus bled for sinners, and He laid down His life for you. You are now invited to be saved freely for the sake of Another. There's no way you could ever earn or deserve the grace of God. The only password to Heaven is *GRACE*.

Religion is nothing but self-righteous sinners hoping and trying to convince a holy God that they are fairly decent folks. Human nature says, "If I haven't done enough good things to get into Heaven, no one has. I don't need a handout, I think a man ought to earn his own way, I'll make it Heaven ok on my own, I'm not as bad as some folks, I believe in God." When God looks on a blood-washed sinner, He sees Jesus Christ's Righteousness, and not the sinner.

The gift of Grace is unbelievably costly, and it is the Giver (Christ Jesus) who pays the whole price. At the Cross, you can do nothing but *Receive*, because Jesus paid the price for A-L-L your sins. You are helplessly lost, and Grace is Free. You have the opportunity of either receiving or refusing the free pardon of all your sins through the shed blood of God's Son. If a pardon is refused, it is no longer a pardon. If you reject and ignore Christ, you will surely die in your sins and be damned forever. You must acknowledge that you are totally incapable of earning what God will only give a sinner freely. Salvation from human sin is absolutely free. You are a great sinner, and the Lord Jesus Christ is the Great Savior, seek His Great Grace at the Cross. Renounce all attempts to save yourself. Trust in Christ's Righteousness, not your own. Simply trust Christ to do all, and you are safe. Stop struggling to better yourself, face it, you're no good. Cease from your doings, and simply Look to Jesus' Precious Blood and receive His free gift. Heaven is only for bad people, only real sinners get in. If you sense your danger, and feel your need of the Savior, Christ Jesus is willing and able to save you, and to save you now. Your procrastination only insults the Savior. Cast your soul unreservedly on Christ's free mercy, trusting in His Blood Atonement alone. Believe His words, trust HIS Grace. Trust *HIM* now with your sins, your soul, your Eternity. Lord Jesus be merciful to me a sinner, forgive all my sins, save me now.

Blessed Is

Blessed is he that blesseth Jacob, and cursed is he that curseth Jacob. Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. Blessed is the man unto whom the Lord imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile. Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; and the people whom He hath chosen for His own inheritance. O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord Jesus Christ. Blessed is that man that maketh the Lord his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies. Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the Lord will deliver him in time of trouble.

Blessed is the man whose strength is in Thee; in whose heart are the ways of them. O Lord of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in Thee. Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O Lord, in the light of Thy countenance. Blessed is the man whom Thou chastenest, O Lord, and teachest him out of Thy law. Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth greatly in His commandments. Blessed is every one that feareth the Lord; that walketh in His ways. Blessed is the man that heareth Me, watching daily at My gates, waiting at the posts of My doors. Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is.

And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in Jesus Christ. Blessed is that servant, whom his Lord when He cometh shall find so doing. Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin. Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love Him. Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand. Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.

Blessed Be

Blessed be the Lord God of Israel for ever and ever. And all the people said, Amen, and praised the Lord. Stand up and bless the Lord your God for ever and ever: and blessed be Thy glorious name, which is exalted above all blessing and praise. Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord. The Lord liveth; and blessed be my Rock; and let the God of my salvation be exalted. Blessed be the Lord, because he hath heard the voice of my supplications. Blessed be the Lord: for he hath shewed me His marvellous kindness in a strong city. Blessed be the Lord God of Israel from everlasting, and to everlasting. Amen, and Amen. Blessed be God, which hath not turned away my prayer, nor His mercy from me.

Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah. Blessed be the Lord God, the God of Israel, who only doeth wondrous things. And blessed be God's glorious name for ever: and let the whole earth be filled with God's glory; Amen, and Amen. Blessed be the Lord God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting: and let all the people say, Amen. Praise ye the Lord. Blessed be the name of the Lord from this time forth and for evermore. Blessed be the Lord my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight. Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are His.

Blessed be ye poor: for yours is the kingdom of God. Blessed be the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest. Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to His abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. Men shall be blessed in Him. Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto Him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever. Blessed be the Lord for evermore. Amen, and Amen.

The Double Cure

The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise. For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth Eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones. For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the Lord: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.

Contrite means that you begin to feel your sin's guilt, burden and danger by the working of the Holy Spirit, and you begin to hate your sins and repent of them. Contrite means to mourn over your rebellion and sins against such a good and loving God as Jesus Christ, and then to desire to find mercy, and to want to please God because of His rich goodness displayed on Calvary's Cross. Contrite means to be broken over your sins, and brokenness over the price that was paid by Christ's Blood for your sins, so that you could live forever.  Jesus' blood gives the sinner a double cure - He cleanses the sinner within from the love of sin, and also saves Him from the wrath of God.  The Lord Jesus Christ gives the sinner a better life and a cleaner life down here on Earth in time. We must allow the divine nature of the Lord Jesus Christ to express itself in human personality (thoughts, words, and actions). Put off the old man and his deeds so Jesus can shine through your life. Christ in you, the hope of glory.

A sinner's eyes must be opened first by the Spirit of God; he must be made aware of his need of the Savior. Your sin has offended your Holy Creator. Your lying, immorality, ungodliness, lusts, cheating, cursing, thievery have broken God's holy law, and your rejection of His Dear Son has broken His heart. The soul that sinneth, it shall die. Religious exercise will not save you. Christ Jesus saves all sinners to the uttermost that come unto God by *HIM*. You must be turned from darkness to light - that is Repentance. There must be a supernatural turnaround in your life, there must a divine change. From the darkness of your sins to the Light of the world - Jesus Christ Himself.

You are dark as midnight inside without Jesus Christ in your soul. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. Only Jesus Saves. There is a physical death and an eternal death. There is a physical birth and a spiritual birth. I have one birthday I don't remember, but I have a second birthday (John 3:7) that Jesus will never forget. You need to be saved from some-thing (Sin) to Someone (The Lord Jesus Christ). Your own personal sin must be paid for. Come *now* to Jesus' bleeding side and cry out to Him for 'mercy'. Salvation is a moral change within and a behavioral change without - that's why atheists despise it, because they are immoral and love their sins. The New Birth will surely change your life. You must be delivered from the power of Satan by the power of God which is in the Blood of Jesus Christ.  The fear of God is when you realize that sinning breaks God's heart, and you long to please Him in all you think, say, and do in private and in public.

The entire time you have been on this planet, God has wanted to save your soul from sin, and He still wants to saves you today. You must come willingly to God's Son and freely receive the forgiveness of all your sins. God will forget your sins forever the moment they come under the Blood of Jesus. You have offended God, and you must come to His Son for forgiveness. Jesus will forgive all your iniquities. He will save you from wrath and make you pure. The Cross of Jesus Christ provides God's forgiveness freely. The Cross proves God's hatred for sin, and His divine love for sinful mankind. Ye must be born again - it is of the highest priority. God must change your sinful nature by the power of His Son's blood.

Whoever a man chooses, that is who masters him. Someone is your master tonight. It is either you or Jesus Christ. Without Christ as your leader, you are evil and dangerous. Christ is holy and safe. Atheists insanely choose themselves or darwin and that is who masters them all of their life. Don't let your sins master you and drive you off into hell fire. If sin is at the wheel of your life, and insanely driving you right now, you are going to collide with Eternity soon - it is inevitable. Don't let darwin or your religion continue to distract you and cause you to lose your soul forever and ever.

A quickened sinner sees his sin and lays hold on Jesus Christ, Jesus then saves him freely by His grace, and then the saved sinner lets Jesus become his Master. Jesus said, "My yoke is easy, and my burden is light." Sin's iron yoke is hard and heavy, let Jesus take that heavy yoke off your weary neck.

You stay lost in your sins every day, only because you want to, because you love your sins more than Jesus Christ. You are afraid you might lose your friends or your position or your paycheck. Why do you want to go to Hell? Many people go to Hell, because they reject Jesus Christ, but most people go to Hell, because they neglect Jesus Christ. The consequences of rejecting and neglecting Jesus Christ are the same. You're going to face a holy God one day soon that you have offended with your sins, and your sins will be IN you and ON you. And the price of your of decision to put off Jesus Christ will be the Lake of Fire. Lost sinners face God with their Sins in them and on them. Saved sinners face God with their sins on Jesus Christ. Seek ye the Lord Jesus Christ while He may be found, call upon His name while He is near.

Adore Christ, Abhor Sin

By nature every sinner's understanding is perverted from the knowledge of God, from a true sense of sin, from a realization of divine justice, from a right estimate of salvation. Man's understanding, which is the eye of the soul, is darkened by his sin and blinded by Satan. But when the Blessed Savior comes, He removes the scales of your sinful blindness, and in the light of God at the Cross, you shall see the Savior. The sinner is then humbled, for he perceives his guilt, his danger, his inability, and the divine justice of God. Moreover, the sinner is filled with alarm, for he sees the bleeding Savior bearing JEHOVAH'S wrath for him, and realizes that every one of his sins must receive a recompense of divine wrath; for if sin laid on Christ was punished so, how much more must personal sin still on our own soul at death involve destruction and banishment from the presence of the God. The sinner is then made to see that the only way in which sin can be removed from his soul is through the bloody sufferings and death of a Sinless Substitute. The Holy Spirit leads the sinner to see that the Atonement is for him if he will simply trust in JESUS. Trust in what Jesus has done and finished, not in what you can do.

The Holy Spirit leads the sinner to understand what true believing really is. The sinner believes; he trusts, and then in trusting the sinner is made to see the completeness of divine pardon, and the perfect justification which comes to him by simple faith in Jesus Christ. No man truly understands the Gospel unless it is given to him from heaven. The Holy Spirit Himself must explain the Gospel to the sinner. The Holy Spirit alone must reveal your sinfulness and what it was to believe in Jesus. The Holy Ghost must cause you to clearly see yourself lost, and Christ the Lamb of God suffering instead of you; you must believe in HIM, and then your sins disappear, and you are freely accepted in the Beloved. The Holy Ghost must show every sinner the simplicity of the Gospel. One touch from Christ's merciful hand will make you wise unto salvation. The whole secret of the gospel lies in these few words, “Believe IN Christ Himself and your soul shall live.” The secret master-key is hearty, penitent, unfeigned faith in Jesus' shed blood alone.

The bondage under which a sinner lies to his sins is great. Habits of sin, like iron nets, surround the sinner, and he cannot escape their meshes. The man sins, and imagines that he cannot help sinning. He cannot renounce the world, he cannot break off his sins, and he cannot believe in Jesus in his own strength. The Savior came to earth on purpose to remove every bond of sin from the captive sinner, and to set him free from every chain of his evil. All sinners privately strive against their habits of sins - unchaste passions, impure thoughts, a haughty spirit, lustful imaginations, and an angry temper. They strive unsuccessfully in their own strength, they have been filled with bondage and bitterness of sin. Some sins die the moment a sinner believes in Jesus, and trouble him no more; but other sins hang on to him, and die by slow degrees, but they are eventually overcome and by Christ's power and they don't continue to get the mastery over him. The only possible freedom from your sin is in Christ. If you ever plan to shake off your evil habits or any other mental bondage, the only remedy is this, to commit yourself wholly to Christ the Savior.

Love Christ, and you shall hate your sins. Trust Him, and you shall no longer trust yourself. Submit yourself to the rule and sway of the living Incarnate God, and He will break the chains of sin within your mind and heart. Nothing else and no one else can do it. Christ must have the glory in your victory over SELF. Only He can set you free from sin’s iron yoke. He's never failed a sinner yet, and He never shall. Christ must break off your secret sins, or you will perish in them. Christ is the divine remedy for all human sin, He gives sinners His holy liberty freely. Simple Faith in the Lord Jesus is the end of sin's bondage and the dawn of grace and freedom.

God's mercy is most glorified by Him passing by our greatest offenses. God's grace is most glorified when He conquers and subdues our most vile and wicked passions. Time is flying by; days are rushing past; years are hastening away; decades are clicking off. Christ Jesus is still mighty to save. The Gospel Message is still this - “He that believeth on Christ is not condemned. Whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.” Trust Jesus, and be free from your sins. Jesus Christ does all things well; His word clears your understanding; His blood cleanses your heart; His love breaks the power of your sinful habits; His mercy removes your awful load of despondency; He does it all. Christ Jesus, God in human flesh, God over all, blessed forever; He who died on Calvary's Cross; His most precious blood is the divine remedy for all human sin. Christ Jesus it is, and He only, who is the Savior of our fallen sinful race. Go to the Savior by faith now, view Him suffering on your behalf, behold the completion of your reconciliation to God, fall back upon the free mercy of God in Christ, and see the eternal security of your soul through the finished work of the glorious Substitute. Love Christ, and you shall hate your sins.

The Incarnate-Crucified-Risen God

A real sinner's hope is only found in the Incarnate, Crucified, and Risen God. This is the Gospel, believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, for if you do not believe this Good News, you will incur the wrath of God, and prove that you are lost, and under the influence of the devil himself. You have run headlong off into everything that is evil. You are without strength to do anything that is good and right. It is a little hell on earth to live on rebelliously in your sin and misery. This is the Gospel of Christ: if you believe it, your soul shall be saved; if you reject Christ, you shall be eternally damned. By sinning, you have written out your own death warrant. Flee from the wrath to come!

Sin is the root of all your problems. You reject Christ to your own destruction. Make no bones about it - if you try to untie all the knots of the skeptics, they will only tie you some more. Stick to publishing the Crucified Savior. The fallacy of mortal reasoning will only land you in hell. You are certainly lost and have an awful future without Christ as your Savior. Christ died for the ungodly; you are ungodly, so that means He definitely died for you. Come along to the Savior who freely justified the guilty through His Righteousness. If what did for sinners on the Cross will not save a sinner, I am damned for sure; for I have nothing else to depend upon; but if Christ's blood will save, and I am sure it does, I am saved as surely as Christ has risen from the dead. This is the root of the matter - Christ Jesus saves sinners, and we trust Him. Your sins can only be forgiven by the grace of God in Christ. Look now to the Bleeding Lamb, and your guilty conscience will be pacified. Humble yourself. Do not try to make out that you are good. Miserable sinners are simply bidden to trust in the Living Savior. The Gospel Message is all of Mercy, and is only directed toward those sinners whose only claim is their need of the Savior.

The Gospel is plain and simple. The Glorious Gospel reveals the perfect and finished work of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is God manifest in the flesh (I Timothy 3:16), the eternal Son of the Father, by whom all things were made, for whom all things were created, and through whom they continue to exist. When we were His enemies, He came to us with His salvation, and reconciled us to God by His blood. The Son of the Highest came down to earth in infinite Pity, He took on our nature, and was virgin born as a Jewish baby in Bethlehem, He was truly man as He was assuredly God. God became a man to reconcile God to sinful men. The Creator put on flesh so that He could have mercy on guilty sinners. The offended One died for the offender; Who His own self bare our sin in His own body on the tree. The Lord God became Immanuel - God with us. Unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given, and His name shall be called Wonderful.

All things were made by Jesus Christ; and without Him was not any thing made that was made. He was in the world, and the world was made by Him, and the world knew Him not. He came unto His own, and His own received him not. But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name. For by Christ were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him, and for Him: And He is before all things, and by Him all things consist. Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for Thou hast created all things, and for Thy pleasure they are and were created. WORTHY IS THE LAMB that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing!

JESUS laid aside His divine glory. The mighty God dwelt here on earth among common men, preaching and teaching, working miracles of mercy, showing Himself compassionate and gentle. He humbly received to Himself the lowest and basest and least of the people. His whole life was Good News. It was a miracle that God Himself should dwell among men, and was found in fashion as a man. The God that hates sin came down to earth to die in the sinner's place. Amazing love, how can it be, that thou My God shouldst die for me. He was patient, gentle, self-sacrificing, just and true. He was without sin, and He never knew sin. And in due time He gave Himself for our sins, making an offering of His soul, flesh, and blood as a Propitiation for the guilt of every man. Jesus bled out His life for His enemies. By the grace of God Jesus tasted death for every man. Look to the Cross, see there God in human flesh - bleeding, suffering, dying. The wrath of God is only appeased by the death and blood of Jesus. Come on to the Cross as a guilty sinner, ask for free pardon through Christ's precious blood. Rest upon the Substitution of the Son of God, repose in the completeness of His Atonement.

Jesus prayed in the Garden of Gethsemane and was oppressed with our load of guilt till a bloody sweat came from Him. He bore our enormous load of SIN up to the Cross all alone, and was nailed and hung there in agonies of death, deserted by His Father, dying the Just for the unjust to bring us to God. He was obedient unto death, even the death of the Cross. This is the Gospel of Substitution, that Jesus was judged in the sinner's place and bore in the sinner's stead what was due to the divine justice and law of God on account of human sin. A real sinner's hope is only found in the Incarnate, Crucified, and Risen God. No better news ever came to a sinner than that the Incarnate God bore man's sins and died in the sinner's place. He that died for sinners was buried and is now risen from the dead, and ascended up into glory and sits at His Father's right hand. Jesus is now able to save sinners to the uttermost that come unto God by Him, seeing He ever liveth to make intercession for them. Christ is All. This is the Gospel of the glory of Christ. Christ is the Great Mediator between the holy God and sinful man. God's love, mercy, and blood can wash the vilest sinner clean. If you are burdened with your sin, look now to the Sin-Bearer, and your deadly burden will be gone. The Great Sufferer died for you. Jesus came to save lost sinners just like you. You reject Christ at your own peril.

The Gospel is most plain and clear. The fact of the Savior's Atonement is plain enough for a child to understand. Jesus suffering in my place is a simple matter of truth. All the merits of Christ's finished work comes to you simply by believing in HIM. What is believing? Well, it is trusting, depending, leaning hard upon, and relying completely upon Christ's Person and Blood - that is all. There is nothing hard about that. The fact that the true and living God was made flesh and died to save sinners. Be still, and Simply trust Jesus. Simple trust in the Great Atonement. Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, and whosoever believeth in HIM shall not perish, but have everlasting life. Jesus only! Become altogether dependent upon JESUS. A man who trusts Christ will not remain a lover of sin. The religious world constantly tries to hide and bury the Gospel beneath human performances and ceremonies. Satan blinds the minds of men today, so that they cannot see the crystal clear Gospel. The devil hoodwinks the sinner with fear of ridicule. Sinful pride and the love of sin perverts the discernment and judgment of your heart. Unbelief slowly hardens the human heart. The mercy of God is only for sinners full of demerit, unworthiness, worthlessness. The Gospel is only for the guilty, the unrighteous, the underserving. Salvation is not of human merit, but of divine Grace.

If you neglect Christ, the devil is your father and master, and you will soon be condemned with him to the lake of fire. The man that believes not on Jesus Christ is a lost man under the wrath of God. While you remain among the unbelieving world, you are perishing, and the devil has you blindfolded. Only the Holy Spirit can reach your conscience and truly convict you of your Christ rejection. Jesus is the only One that a sinner can trust to, and yet you still reject Him. It is the simplest thing in all the world to trust in Christ, but you still refuse to do that simple thing. Insane pride damns every Christ rejector. The devil throws his dust into your eyes, so you can't see the beauty of the Savior, of sins forgiven, of adoption into God's family, and the certainty of eternal life. He that believes in JESUS is saved on the spot, and saved eternally. Yield yourself up to Jesus. Trust the Savior, rely on the Incarnate, Crucified and Risen God - trust HIM at once. All your sins will disappear the instant you look to the wounded and bleeding God on Calvary's Cross. Jesus takes care of every soul who puts their trust in HIM.

God Forbid

God forbid that we should forsake the Lord, to serve other gods.

Moreover as for me, God forbid that I should sin against the Lord in ceasing to pray for you: but I will teach you the good and the right way.

God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar.

Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid.

How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.

But God forbid that I should glory, save in the Cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.

The Riches of His Goodness

All men think that all men are mortal and guilty but themselves. Men are apt to judge other's faults. The punishment which is due to sin men think is surely impending upon others, but men scarcely believe that eternal punishment will ever fall upon themselves. Vain men think they are safe from God's wrath. You think lightly of the goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering of your Maker. Fear the LORD and His goodness. Despise not the riches of His goodness and forbearance and longsuffering. Behold the goodness and severity of God. The goodness of God endureth continually. The Lord God is merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth.

You have a conscience. When you do wrong, you know it, and are troubled by it, unless you have already seared your conscience. You have yielded to temptations and your guilt has given you sleepless nights. You have felt the miserable feeling of shame and unrest that sinning brings. You try to stifle the inward alarm of conscience, and you have resisted the Spirit of God. Your road to Hell is very difficult, but you mean to follow it all costs, and go over the barrier and wall of God's wooings and warnings right off into Hell. The way of transgressors is hard. Evolution is a damnable delusion, and darwinism leads every atheist into a final and fatal self-delusion.

You have offended God and He still withholds the punishment that is due to you. You have been invited to mercy, but have refused it, and yet God continues to stretch out His pierced hands to you, and invite you to come on to the Cross. You continue on in your sin with suicidal determination. You are desperately set on self-inflicted misery, your soul's own ruin, and nothing can save you. You are given over to perdition, for you will not be warned. You long after vice and love filthiness and sinful pleasure. The poison of sin spreads and burns in your veins every day. But God is still showing His forbearance with you.

You have grievously done despite to God's word, and laughed at those that love the Lord Jesus Christ. You are nearing the brink of death, but you still stubbornly reject Christ. God's mercy gives you a reprieve every day. The Savior now sits upon the Throne of Grace, but He will soon sit upon the White Throne of Judgment. Hasten now to the Throne of Grace; seek Christ's free grace and undying love.

God is the Great King; you have publicly insulted Him days without number. Your sins have provoked God and defied Him to His face. There will soon be a limit to God's longsuffering. God has spared you, He has spared your spouse and children, He has raised you up from the bed of sickness, He has filled your pantry, and filled your closet, yet you still disobey Him. Why do you treat the Good Lord so cruelly? For which of His kind deeds do you hate and provoke Him? Every day God causes the sun to rise and He gives you eyes to see it; He sends His rain upon the ground to bring forth bread to feed you, and He gives you strength and life to eat that bread. Is this why you revolt against Him? Every day your life is gladdened and sustained by the tender kindness of God. Your sin is terribly offensive to God every day, but He still shows you His kindness, love, and forbearance. Your base ingratitude toward God is amazingly heinous.

God knows all the sins of every man. Every sin is committed in the very presence of God. "Against Thee, Thee only have I sinned, and done this evil in THY SIGHT." All sins are committed in the sight of God, from whose eyes nothing is hidden. The Lord can never forget your sins, all the sins of your past are before Him now. But He is still slow to anger, and waits to be gracious unto you.

The Lord God is great in power. If He willed it, you would be swept off into Hell today. Your flippant tongue and lustful heart hates God, but He still patiently bears with you. Things that men call little sins are great and grievous evils to the Holy One of Israel. O do not the abominable thing which God hates. God's Spirit is grieved with every idle word and every impure thought of yours. You have indulged in your sins and abused God's mercy.

You have forgotten your Creator altogether, this is a great crime. You wouldn't keep a dog if it never followed and obeyed, and only snarled at you continually. But you have been of no service to your Maker, not even a thought of serving Him has crossed your mind. He has spared you all these years, and His forbearance has never occurred to you. You've never given a half an hour of thought towards your relation to God. You never consider your conduct towards Him. It is too much trouble for you to even think of your Creator.

You imagine that because judgment is delayed that it will never come at all. You joke and play on the brink of death and hell. God's forbearance will not last forever. God knows your secret thoughts. You think you have a long time and flatter yourself that you have plenty of life to think about eternal things. You continue to live on in jeopardy in risk of eternal doom. Be wise now - Decide for God, for Christ, and for heaven.

You have offended God and know it is an evil thing to do so. You knowingly and willfully reject Christ. None are so blind who will not see, and hate the light. The atheist has eyes and light, but he still refuses to see. God's patience with you is meant to lead you to repentance, that you might turn from your sin to God. Repentance is radical change in your view of all things, especially sin. Repentance is a change of mind in your estimate of eternal matters, a change in your purposes, a change in your thoughts and in your private and public conduct. Every year you are out of Christ you sin more deeply and provoke the Lord more terribly. When your child rebels against you, you give them only a few minutes to repent. But God has given you years to repent, but you still remain careless and disobedient and hateful.

Every morning when an atheist wakes up still impenitent, and finds himself still out of hell, the sunlight seems to say, “I shine on you yet another day, as that in this day you may repent.” When your bed receives you at night it seems to say, “I will give you another night’s rest, that you may live to turn from your sins and trust in Jesus Christ.” Every plateful of food that comes to your table says, “I will support your body so you can still have space for repentance.” Every time you open the Bible's pages it says, “We speak with you that you may look to Christ and live.” Every time you hear a Gospel sermon, it pleads with you to turn unto the Merciful Maker and be saved from sin. Come along now to the Cross, poor guilty sinner, there is still room for you at the feet of the Savior.

If you were in God's place, could you bear to be treated as you have treated Him and His Son? Would you be so patient with someone who blasphemed you and your son so cruelly? Repent of your sin, Look unto Jesus Christ and live; Believe on the Crucified and Risen Savior now, and then begin to abhor and struggle against your inward evil and vile passions.

That Way

The natural man always wants to do his best to get rid of his own sin. The natural instinct of mankind is to 'work' on behalf of their own cure. Human nature naturally wants to help God provide the solution to its sin problem. But there's no human remedy for sin, none. Religion and human nature doesn't want to admit that, but it's true. You must renounce all your self-goodness and religious pride. You can't be good enough, you can't join any church, no church's baptism can help rid you of your sin, you are cursed with Sin, you're a sinner, you must give yourself over to Jesus Christ completely, and He must give you Free Eternal Life, without any of your human merit. The blood of Jesus Christ is the only antidote for the love of sin.

Every sinner by nature is entirely lost and full of sin. There is no hope of you being saved by your own righteousness, because it is unrighteousness. There is none righteous, no, not one. Human nature despises Christ because of Satanic pride. Man goes to go hell because he loves his sin and prefers his righteousness to Christ's righteousness. You must be made a *new creature* within by the power of God alone (John 1:12), not by your own human works.

"What must I do to be saved from *the love* and penalty of sin?" What is your answer to this all-important question? Mankind is asking this question today, and there are many different answers that the world throws at lost souls groping in the darkness of sin. Well, the Holy Bible's answer to being saved is this, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved (Acts 16:31)." Believing on Christ is simply trusting to *HIM*! That is, Trusting only in His Great atoning sacrifice for miserable sinners. Believing is relying upon, or trusting. Sinner, only trust in Christ. True Faith is the gift of God, true faith doesn't come from man, it comes from the Holy Spirit, and God only gives faith to miserable sinners in need of a Savior.

Real Faith looks up to Christ Jesus: God in the flesh dwelt among us, He lived selflessly on earth, He was crucified for sinners, He offered up Himself for all of us upon the tree of Calvary. Jesus did all this out of pure love to His enemies. God Incarnate, He that made the heavens, veiled Himself in manhood. God came down here as a man to you, poor sinner, that He might take you up to Himself in glory. The Son of God bled to death for every human sin. His griefs and suffering were not for Himself, for in Him is no sin at all. God in the flesh suffering instead of man, that the justice of God might be fully satisfied, and the mercy of God might be free to needy sinners. Think of the Savior, picture His wounds, look to His blood, see your Creator bleed for you. Jesus died especially for you, and on the Cross He shed His blood, from Sin to set you free. Only Jesus can forgive all your sins. Have done once for all with all reliance upon human feelings or doings, and Rest yourself on the sinless Blood Atonement and Righteousness of Jesus Christ.

But what does it mean to 'Believe'? "Believe" means to "to place all your trust in the finished cross-work of the Lamb of God - Jesus Christ." Believing is to fix your entire dependence on the sin-atoning work of Christ Jesus, to make HIM your soul's only object of Trust. Fix your eye on the fact that God Incarnate bled and died for your sins. Christ's blood and righteousness is completely sufficient for your eternal salvation from sin. In other words, it is not Jesus 'plus' something else; it is not the Cross 'plus' human works; it is not anything plus - it is Christ Jesus alone that saves real sinners, Period.

Self-righteous human nature wants to try and PAY for its sins by self-atonement. Self wants to suffer and work in some way to help atone for its own sins. Self is just too stinking proud to give up trying and working, and simply trust in the finished sinless work of Jesus Christ for the total payment of all your sins. If you try to PAY for any of your sins with your works, you will have to PAY for all your sins in Hell. Either Jesus will pay for all your sins, or you must pay for all of them. This is not a "hope so" or a "think so" salvation, or "I'll give it my best shot".

All the worldly religions teach that you must PAY for your sin-debt in some way or fashion by the completion of some undefined amount of good deeds, but the Glorious Gospel of Christ teaches that Christ Jesus bore all your sins and paid it all with God's Blood that flowed from His veins on Calvary's Tree. Jesus cried, "It is Finished!" from Calvary before He died for your sins. God's divine justice was completely satisfied by Christ's sinless blood-shed and death on the Cross. We know that for a fact, for Christ Jesus rose from the dead three days later according to the Scriptures, proving that God the Father accepted His payment for man's sins.

The man-made false gospels teach that salvation is a *process*, that is, you believe, and you get baptized, and take the ordinances or sacraments, and make confession, and do your dead-level best to help God out. Men naturally seek salvation by human works, they refuse to surrender to the grace and righteousness of God, and try to hide themselves behind their own sham righteousness. Man's false gospels say, "You must hang on until your last breath, because you might not get in, if you mess up along the way. Your lifestyle on earth plays an important part in your self-salvation. You have to live IT, you know. You cannot depend exclusively on a merciful God who died for you. If you're good enough, you'll get to go to Heaven, *maybe*."

You see, your poor soul needs insurance, but you can't afford the payments, you're broke and in serious debt because of your continual sinning. You know that insurance isn't cheap. You have your home and car and dog insured. You probably even have your physical life insured, so that there will be financial provision for your family when you are gone. But what you need most, is to have your immortal soul insured with Christ's free divine, eternal INSURANCE. When you Believe on Christ and receive His free soul insurance, you will have real assurance of safety from sin, death, and hell. As the old song goes, "Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine."

But what does it mean to believe? To believe means to completely stop trusting in yourself, and completely trust in Christ Jesus Himself. There are only two steps to Heaven: Step off of Self and on to Christ. Then step off of Christ and into Heaven. Believe means to trust your never-dying soul into the hands of the Crucified and Risen Savior for eternal safekeeping. Only by the mercy of God can you be Born Again. Never trust yourself at all, only trust Christ. Men do not understand the way of trusting. They want to see, to reason, to argue; but to simply trust in "God in the flesh, living, bleeding, dying, buried, risen, gone into the heavens, and coming again", they do not like that. Believe is not 'doing' anything; it is to leave off doing altogether; it is just believing that Christ Jesus did it ALL! You have nothing to work for, nothing at all sinner, Jesus did everything for you, He did it ALL, long, long ago.

You must be Born Again, because you were born into the wrong family. See Romans 5:12. You were born into the fallen human family of Adam (by nature, you are the devil's child spiritually), and that is the wrong family to be a part of, if you ever hope to have 'eternal life'. Our original father Adam was a criminal, and he was given the sentence of death. That death sentence is yours also, and you'll prove it one day soon by dying. We're all condemned because of our sin. That is very bad news. The world is already under judgment, Jesus came to save sinners from Judgment. The world desperately needed a Savior. Jesus was not just a judge, a teacher, a healer, a philosopher, a moralist, or a founder of a new religion. Jesus was the Savior of the whole world - He came to seek and save that which was lost in sin. The whole world is perishing in sin. Every member of the human race will die and face their Maker in their sins, unless they trust the Savior, and give Him their sins.

Now understand - You must be born again. Why? Because your first birth placed you into the a deadly family. So now must be supernaturally birthed into a new family by the power of Christ Jesus (John 1:12). You must be freely adopted into the right family by God's rich grace. A miracle from God must take place that rebirths you into the 'God's family'. You need a supernatural second birth - Ye Must Be Born Again.

There's no Grace in Buddhism, you PAY, their false new birth is called Reincarnation. By being reincarnated, you pay and pay and pay throughout many lives here on earth for your bad deeds until you reach a state of Nirvana. Buddhism teaches you have to PAY. But reincarnation is only a fatal delusion and a diabolical lie right out of hell. There's no Grace in Hinduism, you have toPAY. In Islam, you must PAY for your sins, Allah never promises the sinner free and eternal forgiveness.

Jesus Christ is the only way to Heaven from earth; He said so Himself in John 14:6. There are not many roads to God, there is only ONE - His name is Jesus Christ. The Incarnate God said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life, no man cometh unto the Father, but by ME." This is the offense of the Cross. Jesus Christ is right, and everyone else is wrong. He is the WAY, and everything else is not the way. The Gospel of Christ is Truth, and all other worldly religions are a lie. Jesus is the way to Heaven, and every other way is the way to Hell. Jesus Christ is LIFE, and all other man-made religions will take you straight into eternal death - the Lake of Fire. Man never treats any other truth or science like he seems to treat spiritual and eternal truth. Man always wants to deal with facts and reality, except when it comes to his soul and his eternal destiny. Sinful man is insanely self-destructive and suicidal with his soul. See John 20:31; I John 5:12-13; John 3:7,16-18,36; Romans 5:8-12. You're as full of sin as the ocean is full of salt. Sin saturates your entire life. Regeneration occurs instantaneously, justification and forgiveness of sins occurs as swiftly as a flash of lightning. There is no good thing whatsoever in you, vile and dirty within. You life is a vain bubble, and it shall burst directly.

You are full of sin one minute, you look to Christ, and then it is all forgiven in an instant; all your sins, past, present, and to come, are all cast behind the Lord's back. Jesus saves the sinner who trusts in Him immediately. You have no good works in which to trust, no self-righteousness on which to rely, cast away your boastings, come to Christ as a poor, guilt, helpless sinner. Believe in Christ's Blood Atonement alone. You are full of sin, ye must be born again from above.

Salvation is not a process of a combination of good works and faith, but a supernatural transaction that takes place personally once and for all between you and the living Savior. This transaction is called the New Birth - Being Born Again. Fix your attention fully on Christ dying for your sins and then rising from the dead - Meditate on His bleeding love for your sins. Jesus paid the full penalty for all your sins, there's nothing left for you to do. You cannot work your way into His acceptance of you. You can't help Christ save your soul. Stop loving your sins. Believe on Christ now - Lost sinner, come just as you are and trust Jesus - Look completely to HIM alone for all your soul's needs. The very moment you do that, you are Born Again. After you trust Christ, start striving against your sin by the grace of God, and tell some other sinner how Jesus saved you from the love of sin.
